Had so many friends told me to come and try this spot out and I've been looking for a good authentic taco spot and I finally found it! Friends told me to order by phone and that's what I did and it was ready within 10 minutes. Place looks pretty cool and I'm not sure if they do dining in right now. Ordered about 12 tacos and the pricing wasn't even that bad. Tacos were very delicious. Loved the Al pastor, steak and also the shrimp tacos. All were amazing. I highly recommend this spot and I'll definitely be back.

When you walk in, there is a counter there with tables in back. The chips and Pico de gallo and guacamole is very fresh. Very good appetizer. I can tell the meal and experience will be great by the appetizer. The tamarindo agua Fresca is very refreshing. The chicken and steak fajitas is so delicious. The meat and vegetable to tortilla ratio is amazing so you can enjoy with and without the tortillas. Keyley is an amazing person and she made sure we had a great meal and experience.

I stopped by too ok order loaded nachos to go. After letting them only sit for a short 15 min they turned into a soggy mess. I've ordered them before without this being an issue. Must have just been off today.

Whats there not to love about some authentic Mexican food. I would eat anything on this menu. Usually I stick to burritos because of all the flavor that it retains as your biting into it. Highly recommend this local hidden gem.

El Limon is a staple and has been one of my favorite restaurants - Everytime I'm In Conshohocken, I have to stop here. When I found out there was an El Limon 20 minutes away from me and that it opened last month, I was so excited! I placed a phone order for pick up - 3 tacos: chicken tinga, chorizo, al pastor & a grilled chicken burrito. They also were kind and included the different sauces: tomatillo, mole, and chipotle. My order was ready when I got there and eagerly took it home. I started off with the tacos and they were so salty, unbearably salty and I was so disappointed. I ate the burrito later that evening and it was great. One of the sauces also tasted salty. I'm hoping it was an off day cause just like love, food deserves a second chance too!

El Limon, the Mexican Cocina that has expanded locally to 16 shops, has always been a favorite of mine for comida Mexicana in the region. I have visited four or five locations over the years and always found them to be authentic, creative and down to earth in the atmosphere department - utilitarian without painted carved chair ostentation. They are good eats at good prices. My recent visit to their new Bensalem store has me reconsidering my past impressions. Maybe they are growing too fast, or their supply lines are stretched too thin by coming into Bucks County from Montgomery, or COVID logistics have overwhelmed them, but the charming delicious gestalt of past exposure was not present in this place. I ordered a Torta Milanese (thin breaded fried beef sandwich) and Horchata rice drink. I've had both before at their other locales. Overlooking for the moment that the servers forgot to set up my table with flatware, napkins or glass of water even after delivering my meal, the sammy itself was a shadow of its previous self. Less meat, less chipotle mayo, less avocado, and a kaiser roll from the discount day old shelf at the back of their bakery. It was soft, tasteless and dry. There was no way they used such inferior bread on any other visits; in fact in the past their rolls had stolen the show they were so good. Not this time. It was a complete sad sack. Clearly, quality control has taken a hit at El Limon Bensalem. They need to step up their training in customer service, and seriously reevaluate their bread purveyor. At least the Horchata was quite good.

I've ordered so many times via Uber eats and food has always been super tasty. If good is good via delivery, I'll bet it's better dining in. I always order the carnitas quesadillas that my kids eat and I get the Tinga marinated chicken tacos. The sauces that comes with it (green and red) is beyond tasty and I always have extras to pour over my homemade tacos

I love El Limon so much! Take out is just as good as eating in, which is hard to say about Mexican food in general. Everything is packed well when you get your food to go. My personal favorites are the enchiladas with mole sauce and the tacos al pastor. Everything is fresh and cooked fast. If you eat in, they have complimentary margaritas, if that's your thing. They also have jamaica, horchata, Mexican Coke in a bottle, and Jarritos in a bottle. ¡Muy delicioso!

The food was passable, not the best, but the service was very rude and the place looked very, very dirty.

Before we entered the restaurant we were "distracted" by the vibrant ice cream store in the same strip. We walked in and were overwhelmed with all the ice cream options. Speaking to the owner, he said his family owns the EL Primo Plaza. We were on a mission for food, but will definitely visit the ice cream store in the future (our plan was after dinner, but dinner was so delicious and so filling, there was no room for dessert this time...better planning next time!). The restaurant is in a Mexican convenience store, but this is not your typical Mexican convenience store. They had so many options for everything. And they have this great bakery in the back before the restaurant. Everything looked SO good! In the back is a full sit down restaurant. We were seated and it is nicely decorated and has a view into the kitchen to watch them make the food. Our server promptly greeted us with some chips and what I think was a mole sauce. They were very tasty. We decided on a watermelon drink and shared mixed fajitas. The watermelon drink was fresh watermelon and it was very refreshing. The mixed fajitas came out piping hot, full of steak chicken and good sized shrimp. Sometimes at other places you get the baby cocktail shrimp, but these were a good size and nicely grilled and seasoned. You get a nice amount of sides to make your fajitas. There was so much food that we asked for extra shells at no additional cost! We thought we put a dent in the food, but we had so much still to take home. Everything was so fresh and seasoned well. The meat was nice and tender. There was a good amount of peppers and onions but it wasn't overpowered as sometimes also we have gotten fajitas elsewhere when there is mostly veggies and very little meat. We were absolutely stuffed by the time we left. Very good. We have added it to the list of places to return.

The restaurant is in this cute little area with shops, restaurants and bars and is a popular destination because when we were leaving out after finishing our meal the place was jam packed and there was at least an hour wait (but no wait when we came in thankfully). It's important to note that this is NOT authentic Mexican food ... but it was pretty good nonetheless. The margarita flight was cute and gave us the ability to try a few flavors out before committing to a large one. The favorites were the white peach and pineapple margaritas (the other 2 in the flight were the traditional and prickly pear). We ordered the Crab Mexican Street Corn for an appetizer and while it was loaded with crab, it wasn't Mexican Street Corn ... it was seasoned corn with old bay and a few other ingredients topped with crab. I ordered the Steak & Shrimp Combo Fajitas which was a nice portion size (I took 3/4 home) and the flavors were pretty darn tasty, but when you order fajitas you expect the "sizzle" and these didn't have that nor were they have the right temperature ... they were just warm when I wanted and expected them to be hot. The refried beans were yummy despite them not looking too appetizing but the rice was too soft. Service was good overall and pricing was also reasonable. If we're in the neighborhood again and in the mood for margaritas we may just stop back in.

The inside was clean and the bar area I sat at although small was a decent spot to have a drink and grub. The staff was mostly young kids who were very nice. The chips and salsa they offer were boring. The salsas both roja and verde lacked flavor, mostly spice. The chips were fresh, but thick and bland. I think a thinner homemade style would work better. The first bartender I dealt with was great with the menu. She recommended several menu items. I ended up rolling with the Shrimp and Crab Enchiladas at $18 - jumbo lump crab, old bay cream cheese, tiger shrimp, cilantro and lime rice. The lime rice was worthless. It had zero flavor and was dry. The Enchiladas were creamy, but lacked spice and complexity. The tiger shrimp had a delicious grilled, moist flavor and were the best part. My second trip had a newer bartender who was getting her feet wet. She was friendly, but busy familiarizing herself with the bar so I went simple and ordered Birria Tacos - $15 Braised beef, onions, cilantro, lime Oaxaca cheese, consommé. The beef was dry and not tender. The shells were ok. The best part was the lime Oaxaca cheese and the consommé somewhat helped me get the beef down. The portion was very small. Not a good value in my humble opinion. The other patrons were mostly young and enjoying margaritas. I think booze is the draw to this spot. Without it your just getting average Mexican grub. Heck of a location in the Borough, but my visits left me longing for a hot pepper!
