No reservations, walk-in. We chose the tasting for two and got started enjoying our wine with beautiful views of the rolling hills. The host was very attentive and gave us our next tasting with perfect timing spaced between. We enjoyed the variety of wines we tasted and the friendly staff. There's one restroom on site located near the main entrance. They also had a nice water fountain to keep you hydrated during the tasting. Lastly, we love how this was dog friendly! We had dinner reservations the next evening so we decided to go before dinner. Upon our arrival, we were pleasantly greeted by the hostess who is a student at Cal Poly. The owner was there and we struck up a conversation. We ordered 2 flights of wine and the evening went on easily for an hour and half. We loved hearing about John Couch's past and his contributions to Cal Poly and various charities. The wine was amazing and ended up buying 2 bottles. What an amazing start to a wonderful evening.

They donate money to Jewel's charity for any bottle sale of the "Pieces of Jewel" wines. They don't have extensive food, but the owner told me I could get a pizza from next door and have it with the wine. It is a very small, very cute spot essentially open to the street with additional seating outside. Very chill, not pretentious or intimidating. My wife sat outside and played chess while I enjoyed the wine.
