What a great find in the charming town of San Louis Obispo. The young lady who helped us took her time to make sure we knew all the different options available. There were so many wines to choose from and she was super knowledgeable on all of them, while taking into account our preferences. We ended buying 5 bottles and enjoyed them over a fun girls weekend camping in a vineyard. Perfection! Bonus: they are very dog friendly and even let my dog choose her favorite wine lol.

I've been coming to Central Coast Wines (CCW) for over 5 years now and I keep coming back for the exceptional wine selection, winemaker tastings, blind tastings, and world class service! One of my favorite events at CCW was fairly recently (on 8/10/2023). This is when High Camp winemakers were pouring their wines at the shop. The winemaker tasting with Megan & Spencer was so intimate and insightful. Loved that Solomiya (Miya) and her team brought this San Miguel winery to SLO! The CCW team is always looking to bring new experiences to its members and this night was one of my favorites. Thank you Miya, Megan, Spencer and the entire CCW team for making a lasting memory for me. Looking forward to many more. Highly recommend - you won't be disappointed!

A nice stop during a girl's weekend in San Luis Obispo! We did the tasting and also learned about a fun camera app by the pourer Makenzie! The pic was taken through the app.

Visited while passing through SLO and was thoroughly impressed with their selection and knowledgeable staff. The shop offers a wide selection of local and other selections, allowing for a diverse and exciting experience for wine enthusiasts. The staff members were friendly, approachable, and more than happy to assist with recommendations based on personal preferences and occasions. Their expertise and passion for wine were evident, making the shopping experience enjoyable and educational. Additionally, the shop's inviting atmosphere and well-organized layout made it easy to navigate and explore the different wine offerings. Whether you're a connoisseur or a novice wine lover, Central Coast is a must-visit destination. Parking is plentiful around the area. Figure out the parking meters, enforcement is vigilant.

This is the only place to find Pet-Nat's, orange wines and local natural wines in SLO! I love their concentration on Local sustainable, natural, and biodynamic wines. This is such a thoughtful wine wine shop. I'm so happy with the new ownership. Thank you, Miya , for being so helpful, extremely knowledgeable and super sweet to boot! Everyone in SLO needs to go!!!

Amazing staff, great wine selection. 10/10 gem of downtown slo! Highly suggest stopping by at least to see their extensive selection!

I love to pop in here to have a glass of wine on my way to or from a downtown activity. I can just tell them my mood and to pick a wine to match it, and they do. PLUS, I get a little lesson in viticulture with every glass.

We were also fortunate enough to get some nice sunny weather on our visit. The outdoor seating was perfect for the weather. It did get a little windy later in the afternoon so I suggest you bring a jacket just in case if it gets chilly. On top of the scenery the service was great as well. The host greeted us and sat us right away. We ordered the wine flight since this is our first time at this vineyard we wanted to try everything. The wine connoisseur was really friendly, did a great job explaining each wine and timed out each pour perfectly. My personal favorite was the Chardonnay. Next time we're visiting the area we'll certainly be back for another wine tasting.

Given the limited seating, I found it to be kind of misleading but my fault for assuming. We ended up ordering a bottle to share as we decided that we weren't going to stay for too long. The rose was good but hard for me to judge as I am not too expert with wine tasting. We got a cheeseboard which was $55 and decent? Service was also okay overall. Given their pricing being higher than other vineyards and it being on the smaller side, I would not personally return but loved the experience nonetheless. Great views and did like the atmosphere but would try other spots in area as there are so many.

No reservations, walk-in. We chose the tasting for two and got started enjoying our wine with beautiful views of the rolling hills. The host was very attentive and gave us our next tasting with perfect timing spaced between. We enjoyed the variety of wines we tasted and the friendly staff. There's one restroom on site located near the main entrance. They also had a nice water fountain to keep you hydrated during the tasting. Lastly, we love how this was dog friendly! The grapes they used in some of the wines were from the vines right next to us. Oscar and Clint were very helpful and provided a lot of insight on the area. We went to a couple of their recommendations in town and they did not miss. This vineyard is a solid place if you want to sip on some good wine with a view. Bottom line/TLDR: friendly vineyard with amazing views.
