Every time my wife and I have walked by this place (just a few blocks from our new home) we've noticed full tables, convivial sounds and some colorful windows (the menu is painted on them). Today we decided to give it a try...
...and were delighted! We both had the "Menu al Dia" (€10,90). I had the Fabadas Asturias (a wonderful bean soup with nice chunks of botifarra) and later a pavo con salsa - turkey in a red sauce that was pretty yummy. My wife went with a goat-cheese salad and grilled fish. Dessert (natilla for me, a whisky tart for her) was included, as was the red wine.
The place was HOPPING the whole time we were there - and the wait staff (one outside, two inside and another at the bar) worked flawlessly together - that is to say, when our wait person was busy, the other came by to make sure we had everything we needed, and even took over until ours was once again free. Nice!
I'm really glad we checked it out. I'm looking forward to our next visit! read more
