It was the experience we needed after a host of poor service and unwelcoming attitudes at other ES establishments. McGarity's is everything you would expect an Irish pub and restaurant to be. There is a leprechaun out front for photos, super friendly and attentive staff, and a menu chock full of feel good and filling food. We started with an appetizer of cheese curds. Get these for the table. They were cheesy goodness with light batter and were delicious. For our meals I got the burger and the kids got shepherd's pie and chicken alfredo. Both looked great and there were plenty of leftovers. Portions are huge here. My burger was cooked the way I liked and had a great beefy juiciness offset by fresh lettuce, tomato, and onions. The thing I didn't particularly like must be some sort of Arkansas or Eureka rule because everyone does it. Condiments were in little packs on the table. I would prefer that at least the mayo be added in the kitchen so I am not disassembling my burger to squeeze mayo on the buns but every restaurant was this way.
