Being a provider you should develop better bedside manner, and not be so condescending and disrespectful to your patients. Not only did he twist my mother's words, but the lack to even bother to understand her basic needs which could compromise her plan of care. If I could give this place 0 stars, then I would. I went to the dental clinic for a filling. To start, they are booked out two months and it doesn't seem like front staff are willing to even check to see if there are any cancellations sooner. The consultation was a month after I called for the appointment and my filling happened 2 months after that. On the day of my filling, I received very little pain management and ended up having a full blown panic attack. I got through the appointment and booked my next appointment in 2 months, with tears still streaming down my face from the panic attack. Afterwards, I went out to my car, where I sat for another 20 minutes before I was able to settle down enough to drive home. After some research, I found a different dentist, which was good because the tooth that I had filled, was hurting worse and worse by the day. I've lived on pain meds for the past week. I had an appointment with this new dentist and ended up having to have a root canal. I got that done today and was able to schedule next week for a cleaning and to put on the permanent crown on. My first time here...check in process was smooth and organized by the guy and gal working out front this morning (11/02/2020). Even though you have a mask on, they will still give you one of their blue masks to put over yours (yay double protection...I don't mind at all!). Plenty of space to wait with distance from others. Waited about 1/2 hour after checking in outside, then got called in as a group to go inside the building for the Lab office, stayed in the order of the numbers we were given outside, signed in once in the Lab and waited about 1/2hr more. The phlebotomist Dave checked us in, came out to the waiting area and updated us twice on what was going on and did a great job on my blood draw. Totally professional and nice! He took his time to make me feel comfortable and confirmed all my information. Everyone in the building was very nice and helpful. Obgyn- appointment at 10:00am. First time here so came at 9:30am. Got called to come in at 9:45am. Saw physician at 10:15am. Got Pap smear and blood test for Gono, clamydia, and hiv. Had a full physical for breast exam too. Dr. Loya is great and full of info. ------- When I went to my primary physician. Dr. Bautista on the second floor. They called my name very fast too. I was there at 9:00am waited in line to check-in on the first floor window 2. Went to the second floor at 9:15am. Got called at 9:20am. Saw the nurse and my physician. They were really fast. If you have any questions you want to ask your physician then write them down or ask it quickly. Dr. Bautista talks fast and does your job very swiftly. Before she left she asked if I had any questions before she was about to leave. She ordered all my blood work and classes she recommended to take. Dr. Jasmine chwa has got to be the worst doctor ever. When you call the main number to this building it sends you to a horrible operating system. Every time I've called to speak to the doctor it goes straight to voicemail. I've left multiple messages to get a returned call. No one calls back unless you spam the shit out of their voicemail. Its so upsetting that they've truly neglected my situation and insisted I go to urgent care instead. Last week i was also prescribed with ibuprofen and promethazine, the nurse said the doctor would call me back to insure me about what i was going to be prescribed to me. I have to say I like my doctor (Md So ?sp?) but the pharmacy is rude. My doctor accidentally sent it to another county hospital pharmacy and El Monte pharmacy was adamant that they could not call the pharmacy to transfer this medicine and that I would have to wait an unknown amount of time before I could get it. I called the other pharmacy and they said yes, they can transfer but El Monte would have to call them. So basically the person I spoke w/at El monte, which was a woman, is out here giving incorrect information. I dont think she is aware ppl are not going to just believe whatever they are told. The absolute worst experience I have ever had ANYWHERE in my life, and this is supposed to be a place you seek "medical care"? I have been in and out of this place 5 times this week, and today was told that my symptoms are basically non existent because my blood work came back clean. Angeli Bautista made me feel like a complete fool for being concerned over DRASTIC changes occurring all over my skin, my veins, my entire body. Talked over me every time I tried to explain my symptoms, never let me finish one sentence, told me she couldn't do anything about any of my pain and that "things don't happen in a day" and snapped her fingers repeatedly. I am not demanding, I am not rude, I am not impolite, I am scared for my health and have lots of questions and concerns. None of which were answered or frankly even addressed. Again, I have been here numerous times just this week and have received none of the help that I need. I will also be filing a complaint against her to the medical board in hopes that she never treats another patient the way she treated me today. I left even more worried than I came. Rating: 4 Stars Parking: Come early lot can fill up quickly. If there is a sign that says lot full, you would have to park in the residential area and either walk to signal light and cross or jwalk. At first I was very reluctant to use this service, but I noticed that at times of struggle... there are programs that assists people that are in a rough patch. I am very grateful for health programs like these that serve the sgv area. Been coming her for a little over 6 years for checkups, blood tests, xrays (acute fractured on the 4th digit on the right hand. Don't ask how) , and for medication refills. These services are provided for low income people...either free service or reduce costs on healthcare. Before this.... I remember my health insurance policy was close to $400 dollars a month with Kaiser. Services Provided: Women's and Children clinic, Adult clinic, Dental, Pharmacy, and lab for blood work. Service: Wait time to get a appt use to take a long time, but after obamacare came along... people can now choose what doctors they want to go to near their area. They've sat us in the waiting room without providing so much as an update as to why we've been kept waiting for so long. When we inquired with the receptionist, instead of apologizing for the excessive delay, she literally said this doctor is notorious for running late and if we don't like to wait endlessly, we should go with another doctor. Are you kidding me?? It has been impossible to speak directly to my doctor about literally anything, and in addition to that this clinic is not communicative. Whether it be blood work results, ultrasound results, or a medication refill, they don't call you to go over anything. I asked my doctor to fill out a form for my job and played phone tag with the nurses for 3 weeks just to call back on the third week and be told that they couldn't fill out the form. When I asked why there was no real answer. They told me that it had been noted on my chart that they couldn't do it, but they failed to inform me. This form had a deadline that they were aware of and this did not make a difference. After speaking to multiple nurses the doctor finally wrote a doctors note, but after reading it I realized she may as well not have written anything. I've seen letters to Santa written by children that made more sense. I waited three weeks for two sentences worth of chicken scratch that my job obviously told me they couldn't accept. read more

I figured, I'll go home, rest or nap a little, then come back. BIG MISTAKE!! By the time I got home with traffic it took me 40 minutes. The distant to my home is only 5.6 miles. ugh!!! Well, when I came back to pick up my meds, 2 and a half hours later, they still were NOT ready. I was told 10 - 15 more minutes. Really? Needless to say, It was a 1 star experience. But, I do remember the hallways were very clean. But that's pretty much it. --------'-------'------- 2nd visit: So, I'm still sick after 3 weeks. All the meds the doctor gave, didn't help. I wanted something stronger! I waited 55 minutes this time after my check in. They had the wrong weight, (50 lbs less). Aww, thanks... but, I wish! So the nurse is checking my vitals and she was called out by a head nurse for a question. That was rude! Nurse came back to continue with my vitals and a few minutes later, she was called out again! WTH? This time by a different nurse. Ok, is it my imagination, am I making a big deal, or is this plan old disrespectful, rude, and unnecessary. I mean, they could have waited just like I waited almost an hour. After my check up was done, the doctor left. The nurse came back to give me my new prescription and I remember I had a question for the doctor. The nurse said, let me go ask... And I waited. and waited... and kept on waiting... 15 minutes pass, I can hear random conversation in the hall way. 20 minutes pass, this time I hear laughter and giggling. Making an appointment here is seriously the WORST! Last week they told me to call back the following week because they were completely booked, so I did. Today would be my third day calling in a row! Every time I called they would tell me to leave my number & they will call me back...I never received a call back. Today I called twice. Every time I was caller #1, I would get the message saying they are receiving a high volume of calls & I had no choice but to leave my number for a call back or to hang up. Just finished with my follow up appointment for lab tests and biopsy results. Yet another seamless visit! I feel like this is the most organized medical facility I've ever experienced. All the nurses and staff are very helpful, kind, and informative. Parking is easy and guarded, the building layout is not complicated at all easy to find where you need to go. I'm so glad i left it up to the county/medi-cal to choose where to go for my primary care lol seriously! I got it made. And my results? -Hurray I'm not dying! Kristine Bolotaulo is the worst primary care physician I have ever encountered. She has been my PCP for over a year and a half and I still have the same dermatitis medical condition, which after my last visit today, she could barely restrain herself from laughing. She referred me to do bloodwork & then referred me to take x-rays of my lungs! Something that is completely unrelated to my condition. After explaining my frustration and stating I will be changing my PCP, she then told me to go to the Emergency Room at the nearest hospital since I was unhappy with her. The appointment making process was really convenient, but the my review is for the Pediatrician, Dr. Mely Tan. First off, if she was a really nice Pediatrician, then maybe I will overlook the extremely small exam room. But there is no space to walk if you put your stroller or carseat in the room and we had to keep moving it so the doctor and staff could move around. Then, you would think that a Pediatrician would have a very friendly attitude since she's dealing with kids, but NO, she yells! She sounds like she is yelling the whole time she's talking to us, she talks to us like we're stupid, and she talks over us. I guess she gets paid by the state so she doesn't care about customer service. And maybe that's why their equipment is also older. Well we are not returning to her. When a prospective patient calls, there is no need to be so rude! I called to attempt to make a dental appointment but was turned away. I understood that I have to call on a specific day in order to schedule an appointment, but there is no need to be abrupt and rude. If I were rude to you then you have every right to be rude to me, but I was polite and nice. If their calls really were being recorded, clearly they don't care.
