this clinic breaks the most important rule of medical profession. From the nurse to doc himself DO NOT TRUST that they will keep what you shared with them confidentially. It happened to me when nurse here talked to the other office nurse behind patient' back and doc here can not keep confidential info about patient when requested for you an urgent care that came out to be such a night mare to me @ don t trust they will not share your info with others that have no business nor is necessary AND worst yet it was not true entirely since they didnt have good judgement . I changed to another doc IMMEDIATELY when I learned about this . this office is of no help but they are good in dispersing medication to you that are not necesssary or over. Amazing doctors, both husband and wife. I wish I could give them more than five stars. My family is super close to Doctor Kaw because he speaks fluent Burmese, in addition to English, Spanish, and Chinese. He is super attentive and hardworking, always giving his best advice and recommendations to other clinics. The nurses and staff, however, need to either improve their work ethic or switch career paths. I'm being nice by giving four stars but there were multiple occasions where they messed up a lot of medical records and/or have rude attitudes. Doctor Kaw would apologize on their behalf and fix each and every one of the problems they caused -- and I am so grateful for that. I would advise to make an appointment early on because the walk-in wait-time is pretty long (maybe 2 hours sometimes). read more

Dr. Kaw and his wife are both excellent doctors at this facility. They help out the El Monte community by speaking spanish if you are not fluent in English!!The nurses there are also friendly. I have been coming to this place since i was an infant, now im 23. Long ago, it use to be another doctor but in the last couple years it has been Mathew Kaw and his wife. Everytime I come here I feel welcomed and happy. I come in, get my vitals checked, get my shot, and head over to a pharmacy near me to get my medicine. I have zero complains about this facility. They truly care about their community! read more

Dr. Matthew is a really great doctor and so is his wife really taking on his father. I would recommend this facility to anyone. Just an injection on the butt, and you're good to go the next day. The latest to come in as a walk in would be at 3 because they close at 4. You cannot make appointments through the phone because then it wouldn't be fair for the other people that are still coming. Also they cannot check if you have Medical over the phone you would have to go and check yourself. If you don't, the most you'll pay is 60.All my family have been going since his dad was in this facility, and now I am bring my husbands family here as well. Some nurse I've known forever and are amazing and some other new ones are ok, but other than that it's my favorite doctors to go to when I'm sick because with either the injection or antibiotics he prescribed to you, you will be better. read more

First of all I huge thank you to everyone at this facility. Top tier service from beginning to end. I have been to some places that sell you on their location by providing eye catching facilities but the services are less than acceptable. I had lost my faith in almost anything when it came to something to due with medical service in this part of the world. Then I came to this place as a walk in and was courteously helped even though my insurance was set up with another local doctor. Even this was taken care of while I waited to be seen; they called up my insurance to assign Doctor Kaw as my primary-Wow! I had been referred by a friend and I didn't know what to expect but I'm starting to feel that the reviews on this place are either misdirected or their goal is to keep people away to avoid making this place more popular but I believe in karma and what goes around comes around. If my review can save a life then by all means please know that the Doctor Kaw and his professional & knowledgeable staff will take care of you like your a member of their own family. They do blood work on site and many other services. To avoid the long wait please do yourself a favor and make an appointment because you won't be disappointed. This facility believes in injections rather prescribing pills or other medications but you can request the standard prescription for some ailments as you please. Overall I'm overly satisfied with this place and will make sure to send them all the business I can because you can't beat their prices if you don't have insurance plus the superior service saves you a trip to going over the border for a great doctor. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment to have Doctor Kaw take care of you. He literally saw me over five times throughout my visit to check on me and then finally at the conclusion of my visit he walked me out while discussing the next process needed for the betterment of my health. Really small place no parking at all and durty and filty i have a ppo insurance and u dont get a special treatment planing to change my dr.

Good husband and wife doctor team. I'm a new patient of theirs. I made a legitimate request of doctor to write me a medical window tint letter for law enforcement upon request. I placed this request in writing via fax. I followed up with his office staff who told me many times " Doctor is working on it, but he's a little behind on his paper work" Today after 2 and a half weeks I call dagain to follow up and his girls didnt know what I was talking about and they said if I wished to discuss doctors decision that I needed to come in as a consult. I'm on many blood pressure medications which read right on the label of the bottle " avoid direct and indirect sun light exposure while on this medication" Window tint is necessary for me as I break out on my face and have light sensitivity along with itchy red rash on my arms. i explained this to doctor and he blew me off ignoring my request. I had to call my insurance and They had to contact doctor to see if he would explain it to them. I find this pretty shameful of doctor as if he wasnt going to do it he should have just been upfront about it instead of having his office staff tell me "doctors working on it" I warned his office staff that I would file a grievance with my insurance and seek arbitration they did not care. So I opened the case up with my insurance today. read more

Simply the BEST. Due to my back Injury i have had to try a Primary Doctor close to home. I came to see him over breathing issues and some other ailments. He did a thorogh exam and found a painless lump in my neck that did not respond to antibiotics unfortunately, and he quickly arranged a CT scan. His office took labs. Due to the results of the CT Scan i was quickly referred to a specialist for biopsy. As of this writing, i have surgery to remove a tumor and my submandibular gland tomorrow. I wish Dr. Kaw could do it. I am so grateful for this kind, caring, extremely knowledgeable doctor. I am so happy he is close to home. It might be a wait when you are a walk-in, but this doctor is well worth the wait. So the office is not fancy like other places... who cares when ypu've got the best doctor. His waiting room is full for a reason. Some of the chit chats going on in the waiting room are about how we all love this doctor and the care we receive. Oh... and i could not believe my ears when this doctor spoke perfect Spanish! He is tri-lingual! read more
