We love eating at the El Parian in Clarksville, Arkansas. The food is always so well prepared with generous portions. The wait staff are awesome with being friendly and attentive. My favorite meal is the Fiesta Chimichangas. But I also love the No. 17, the Chicken and Rice, and the Mariachi Special. The prices are decent considering the potion size of the meals. We enjoy this place as often as possible. read more

Everyone says El Parian is the best venue for Mexican food in Clarksville. Proof of this is in the often packed parking lot on a week night, and the various Yelp reviews from locals. The truth, however, is in the food and it's booooring. Three things El Parian has going for it: the friendly waitstaff (all guys for some reason), speed of service, and pocketbook friendly dishes. That being said, however, I would gladly pay double for the "steak" quesadilla I had if it tasted good. All things considered, I'll pass next time I'm in Clarksville. read more

The service at El Parian is wonderful! The entire staff will be checking to see if you need refills on chips and drinks. We come at least once a week and whoever waits on our table knows what our favorite beverage options are. The food is excellently prepared and reasonably priced. If you're looking for Tex-Mex and think that is the only kind of Mexican food, you may be disappointed in the level of "heat" you will find. Mexican food is regional, like Chinese (and for that matter, American). Not all regions feature spicy dishes. El Parian's food is nicely spiced and flavorful, but not necessarily spicy. Food wasn't up to par. Being from southern Texas you get better food from a food truck. Food has no real spices. Where has all the real Hispanic food gone. I'll give it this you can really taste the tomates. read more

Quick to be seated & good food too. Good place for families and large groups. Excellent meal. They have Margaritas and beer. I did not explore of the beer selection however I did try a margarita. The food was served quickly and had a nice presentation. I tried the appetizers and was pleased. Happy to recommend. Worth another visit for sure. read more

Very disappointed on this visit. The first time I was here everything wad great and the place was packed. This visit was so bad. The salsa was served in those wooden salad bowls from the 80's. It was falling apart from being washed. Many people I know wouldn't eat from it. The quesadeea (spelled incorrectly) had no cheese and was folded like a taco instead of flat and sliced like a pie. It had to be eaten with a fork. Juice ran out of it soaking the tortilla. Not good! No crunch! I probably will not ever go back again. El Parian's Steak and Chorizo taco's are incredible! I don't visit Clarksville often, but when I do, I'm getting another helping of this dish! Iced tea was fresh and cold, service was very fast. Chips were good, salsa average, refried beans so-so. Excellent service and authentic Mexican food at a very reasonable price! The food is delicious, and the portions are huge. The chips, they are super thin, fresh, and crispy, served with a tomato salsa that is literally steeping in lime juice. Ask for creamy jalapeno (a spicier ranch) if you want to try it! What an impressive little place! Friendly service, artisticly carved and painted walls and chairs, and most importanly DELICIOUS food. Compared to my own experiences with Mexican food in my hometown of Homestead/Miami, FL and on a brief trip to Mexico this year, I'd say this was right on top... so good we came back a couple times during a 3 day weekend trip to University of the Ozarks. I ordered Pollo Veracruz, and it was amazing, but I should also mention the fresh chips and delicious guacamole they serve complimentary. Servers are really cordial and prompt to address your needs. Very nice staff. Clean and comfy place, but if you've ever eaten REAL Mexican food you will know this food sucks. I'm from Houston so even Tex-mex is acceptable to me but this food has zero flavor. I actually feel bad for anyone that thinks this is even decent Mexican food. Blah!! read more
