Dr Sozer is by far the best plastic surgeon in El Paso. He is knowledgeable,professional, and doesn't try to push or sell you on other procedures that you don't need. During my consultation with him, I never felt rushed and he answered all questions I asked. The MedSpa has amazing nurses that are great at fillers/injections and various other non surgical procedures. They have monthly specials and also a monthly membership with various perks. If you're looking for Botox, this is the place to go. The prices are great. They also offer various credit options and I do believe that as long as you make a deposit for surgery, you can continue to make payments on it and then you'll get the procedure done once you have finished paying. The implants I was given were recalled in August of 2019. I just got a text today, October 2024 telling me of the recall. I have already had the implants replaced after finding out both had ruptured last year. I now live in Virginia and had a wonderful experience with the second surgery compared to my first go around here. Can't believe it took this company 5 years to reach out. I'm only posting this considering my mother is the one that had the surgery she signed documentation stating she can't post about her botched surgery so I'm going to do it for her. My mother had a facelift done with Dr sozer he botched her face so bad she had to have a revision surgery the doctor that did the corrective surgery couldn't believe doctor Sozar did this much damage to my mom's face having said that just be careful who you go to and remember a lot of times you don't see the bad reviews because they're not allowed to post them after they've negotiated a small compensation, but as a family member I couldn't believe how bad he messed up her face. Long wait time just to check in. After signing in and waiting for 35mins to be called back, the front desk hadn't even checked me in- what's the point of signing in? I followed up and the receptionist informed me that my appointment had been made at the other location, when I specifically asked for an appointment at the west location. At the onset, the front desk process at this place is not impressive. It was my first time having the kybella treatment. The nurse (Sonia) started the consultation by asking whether I had done any research on kybella. I said, I read up a little bit on it, but wanted more info. She went on to give a brief 15 second explanation. Not very helpful. She then proceeded to take my photo and said I would need three vials. I kept waiting for more information on the procedure, and asked little questions to prompt the nurse to tell me more, but I got nothing. Three vials seemed like a stretch, but I went along with it. I expected she would provide more info as the consultation went on, but she did not. She did not seem very experienced and didn't really explain the product or the process. There was no information on any restrictions after the injections or aftercare instructions. I would not trust this place to have another procedure. The nurse (Sonia) I saw didn't seem to be experienced since she couldn't be bothered to provide information as I would expect from a consultation. She simply told me that she had the kybellla treatment a few weeks ago and showed me her photos. Not the medical explanation I was expecting. There was no explanation on the procedure and no after care instructions. As much as I pushed for more info by asking questions, Sonia just didn't provide it. It seems to me that is a med spa trying to get as many clients in as possible (quantity over quality). I would not go back or recommend this place. Maybe the doctor or surgeon is better, but I am hesitant to return after this appointment. I returned for a follow up and saw no difference in the post kybella photos. My face looked more swollen on one side and the center of my neck looked worse. Definitely not the results I was hoping for. Update: I received a call from the business manager who was very apologetic and wanted to make my experience better. I appreciate that they took the time to speak with me and recognized there were issues that they are working to address. I think it's fair to give it a second shot considering he listened to my issue, looked into the matter, and was trying to find a way to make it right. We waited a year for my fiancé's corrective surgery. One delay after another, we would complain about the time and then on her follow up appointments they started making her wait for more than a hour knowing she had to return to work on her follow up appointments. Once we finally had a surgery date, they would not give us a time, so I called 2 days prior to her surgery date, the office people told me they would not discuss with me any information about her surgery date, time or anything related to her. I stated to them, she had signed a release of information, and that I had legal authorization to receive any and all info, ( which they were well aware of and even stated to me they had the release). I was told I had to speak to their COO, and that the refusal of them giving me any information was coming from him, This man proceeded to tell me that he was directed by Dr. Sozer not to give me any information regarding my fiancé. I stated to him he was breaking the law, and this is what he said and I quote "IF I AM BREAKING THE LAW THEN SO I AM BREAKING THE LAW" end of quote. Again even though we have a legal document that is signed and in her record directing them to do so. He would not tell me why, although I asked him several times. I told him they were breaking the law, and the release was a legal document that was signed in the record. He told me he didn't care about the law ( and I have him taped). I stated I would get an attorney and he then told me they had 60 attorneys so I should go and get one. He was extremely rude and condescending, and mocked us when we told him we needed the information to make arrangements so she could be picked up and taken to surgery, he stated what part of town are we coming from, I stated the east side and he laughed at me. He ended up having up the phone on me and never gave me a explanation as to why they were being hostile towards us. I called back about 5 times wanting to speak to the manger, each time I was put on hold and no one ever came to the phone. I called and asked the staff for Dr. Sozers medial license number, which they are required by law to give and they refused. The surgery was bad, she has one breast larger then the other and the lipo left her lumpy to her abdomen. The staff is rude as can be and bothered when you don't obey their commands, worse yet, they took out their vindictiveness on us for complaining. Then they sent a text cancelling the corrective surgery, no phone call, just a text message stating we were abusive and rude. Again I have the taped conversation, I suppose we are abusive because we demanded they abide by law which protects patient rights, because we dared to question them? Because we called and wanted to know what time her surgery was? Because we demanded that they hold to legal documents signed and in the record? How can a medical office willfully ignore law and lawful documents? They have tried turning the tables on us stating we were rude and abusive, we didn't even speak to them until 2 days prior to the procedure. They had no problem taking our money and then when corrections needed to be made put us through the torment they did. To be a medial facility and be vindictive and punish us because we made a complaint to them is unbelievable. The brother of Dr. Sozer blatantly told us he was breaking the law. ( We have the tape.) Just terrible, terrible business acumen, they have been vindictive and retaliatory because we persisted in having done what is lawful supposed to be. Then they sent a text message threatening us that if we called back again they would take legal action. We will never go back and we are appalled by how this medical office is operated from the top down. read more

First of all I wanted to say that the staff and nurses were super sweet and make you feel very comfortable. The office is nice and clean, scheduling appointments was pretty easy. My one complaint was the horrendous wait times! On my first visit for a consultation I was here for about an hour and a half for a 5 minute consult with the doctor. Then on the day of a easy and quick out patient procedure I waited in the waiting area for three hours! Today at the follow up I've been sitting in the waiting for a little past 45 minutes so far. I understand that things can get backed up and people run behind, but from what I can see they over book. When I walked into my 8 am appointment ( the time they open) there were already 7 other people ahead of me. If you don't like waiting around for long periods of time I would suggest going elsewhere. read more

EPCS messed up my miraDry treatment, but the problems began with the pre-treatment consultation. During my consultation, I asked for a sweat test and was promised another one the day of my treatment. The aesthetician did not disclose untreatable areas, which a responsible business should do so clients can make informed decisions. Afterwards, she told me to wait in the lobby for her. Thirty to forty minutes passed. I asked the front desk what it was I am waiting for and they didn't know. When she came out with what looked like another client, she was confused as to why I was still there and said she had given the quote to the front desk. I regret that I fully pre-paid for the treatment and made an appointment for a month later. By the day before, since I hadn't received a confirmation, I called the office for hours with no answer. I left a voicemail and text message. The next day, I kept calling and finally got a hold of someone minutes before I was going to leave for my appointment. I spoke with E who said they had no record of my appointment. Shady! E said Orkan Sozer, the COO, saw my message and told her to call me, but no one had. She asked me to give them a second chance. She said they would have a nurse do both the injections and the treatment, an exception because they stopped doing it that way. E also assured me I would get a "mini-consultation" the day of. I regret that I believed her and made another appointment. They switched my appointment to be with an aesthetician who ended up calling in sick the morning of. Sozer scheduled yet another aesthetician, M. I was rushed into the room and barely had time to finish my paperwork and ask to use the restroom. I was not given a "mini-consultation," nor a sweat test as promised. I asked about the sweat test and P, the nurse, said they saw photos from my consultation, blowing me off. I was uncomfortable throughout the appointment. M and P were dismissive of me and actually seemed unhappy to be there. M used a catchphrase, "you're ok," to shut me down every time I questioned something or indicated I was uncomfortable. Since M wasn't originally supposed to see me, P and M kept discussing who would be doing my treatment based on the arrivals of their other clients. They discussed tag-teaming my hour-long treatment of numerous applications of heat, planning to switch off and on depending on whose other clients arrived when. It's unfathomable that two professionals would consider tag-teaming a treatment and discuss this in front of me. It's not surprising then, with a rushed appointment with a rescheduled aesthetician and these distractions, that my treatment was done incorrectly and painfully. During my treatment, M kept tugging my clothing down to access skin covered by my sports bra, areas I did not expect to be treated. I later learned from miraDry, Inc. that breast tissue is not recommended for treatment. At the end when M wiped away the temporary template, the dots to position the template were still visible. I asked why the dot on the right side was lower than the left. M said it didn't matter. Bologna! I could tell something wasn't right because the treatment was also so low in both my armpits. It didn't make sense. miraDry, Inc. confirmed it's okay to treat into the upper armpit, just not too high onto the arm, which would have helped per my sweat test. In a follow-up, I asked M why there weren't any treatment marks right below the dots in my upper armpits when there were distinct and unmistakable suction marks everywhere else. She actually said those areas healed faster. More bologna! miraDry, Inc. confirmed that the first area of treatment is right below those dots. M neglected to do these areas. M also said next time she could start the treatment higher. Of course she could have and should have, but didn't. Her responses indicate she was trying to cover up for her mistake or has been doing it wrong for four years -- sloppy and irresponsible either way. After researching, I figured out that M followed the template incorrectly. Where she should have placed the handheld device above the first line of the template to start, she instead placed it below, completely missing the tops of the treatable areas within the template. By then following the template downward with the wrong starting point, she unnecessarily treated areas below the template covered by my sports bra. Those areas were painful because they weren't treated with the numbing medicine/plumping fluid as they weren't supposed to be treated. These areas are lumpy, sore, and discolored months later. She messed up, but EPCS wronged me twice because if I go through the pain and expense of another treatment to treat the areas EPCS missed, those areas will still only be treated once after two treatments. This is unfair. I regret ever entrusting EPCS to provide this treatment.
