Back in the day, they allowed smoking inside, but I doubt they still do - although they *may*. Please call before you go to find out if smoking is allowed. Also, apparently, now they serve food (at least pizzas) , which wasn't the case when I would drop in here. They have daily drink specials ($3 bloody marys on Sundays) and karaoke. This is where you go for a house (call brand) high ball or a cold beer. Although they offer a full bar, I doubt they have a vast selection of craft beers or specialty cocktails (with smoked garnishes and unique ice cubes) like you would find at Sip or Catacomb. This is a local friendly bar with a small footprint. I'm sure after your first visit here, you will leave a friend and a regular!

My husband did wish he could split the flavors on his wings, but you have to get a really large order (I wanna say like 12+??) to do that, so he settled on one flavor. I had chicken tenders and fries and also enjoyed them! The tenders were very large and quite meaty. The breading could've used a tiny bit more salt or seasoning, but they went well dipped in the creamy ranch. Shawna was a highlight of our experience; without asking, she brought BIL more root beer for his float when he quickly drained the liquid part of it, allowed us to keep the queso and sassy sauce from the appetizer to dip our entree fries in, and was very prompt and patient getting extra sauces and refills as needed. Now given the name "Prohibition," I half expected someone to knock on the door and ask for a secret password like it was 1927. Back in those days, enjoying a drink required secrecy, dim lights, and maybe a jazz band playing in the corner. Today, things are a little easier... though for this non-drinker, my order was simple: water on the rocks, hold the lemon. I prefer my water about 100 proof for maximum flavor. My boss and coworker grabbed seats at the bar while we looked over the menu. We kicked things off with the Pork Belly Burnt Ends and the Pork Bao Buns. Let me tell you, those Pork Belly Burnt Ends were an absolute masterpiece. They came out crisp and seasoned just right with a little spicy kick.
