They do everything they can to help you get well again and I really like their approach of trying to help the body heal with natural treatments before going to medications, while not avoiding medication if necessary. In general everything about this clinic is fantastic. The people are very nice, the atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant, the food is healthy and very good, the rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. Prior to a loved one's appointment, I contacted the office to inform them that the patient was experiencing severe depression and acute suicidal ideation. As the legal Power of Attorney, I explicitly requested that the clinical team handle this information discreetly for the patient's own safety. Instead, upon arrival, Dr. Shetty immediately informed the patient that I had called ahead. Despite being presented with clear evidence of an immediate mental health crisis, the clinic refused admission, failed to contact emergency services or law enforcement to initiate a wellness hold, and allowed a severely unstable individual to simply walk out the door. The lack of crisis intervention, complete disregard for actionable safety warnings, and failure to exercise a basic duty of care at this facility are deeply alarming. If you or a loved one are facing a critical mental health situation, I strongly advise looking elsewhere for competent, safe medical care.

By God's grace and through the dedication, skill, and compassion of the doctors, nurses, and staff at UMC, James is still here today. The medical care was outstanding, but what really touched our family was the humanity shown during an incredibly difficult time. Because our family refused to leave his side, the hospital allowed us to convert a conference room into a Thanksgiving dining room so we could be together while James was in the next room receiving care. I will never forget that kindness. I will never forget the blood drives, the support, the compassion, and the way the staff cared not only for James but for our entire family.
