You can feel they truly care about their patients and they have always made my times here a great experience! The recommendations and treatments they provide are specific for the issue and it has made a positive difference for me. They do everything they can to help you get well again and I really like their approach of trying to help the body heal with natural treatments before going to medications, while not avoiding medication if necessary. In general everything about this clinic is fantastic. The people are very nice, the atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant, the food is healthy and very good, the rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. And they are continuously improving and expanding the facilities to meet the patients' needs as well as adding to their list of specialized treatments. Love this place!

I have been visiting Dr. James for the past 20 years, and I can say full heartedly he is the reason I am here today. Dr. James gave me a second opportunity to see my children grow up, by helping me with all the illnesses I have endured over the past years. Dr. James is quite frankly, a saving grace to my life. I want to thank Dr. James and all the staff at the Good Samaritan Medical Center, who have helped me throughout these years, not just by helping me, but as well as my entire family. My entire family is a patient of Dr. James and will remain as so, god forbid. There's a reason I met Dr. James when he came to visit Houston, he was the saving grace God sent to heal me. I just once again want to thank Dr. James and the entire staff at the Good Samaritan Medical Center thank you from the bottom of my heart. If anyone is looking for a doctor that truly cares about you and will help you get healthy once again, please visit Dr. James at the Good Samaritan Medical Center; I recommend him and his staff 100%.

By God's grace and through the dedication, skill, and compassion of the doctors, nurses, and staff at UMC, James is still here today. The medical care was outstanding, but what really touched our family was the humanity shown during an incredibly difficult time. Because our family refused to leave his side, the hospital allowed us to convert a conference room into a Thanksgiving dining room so we could be together while James was in the next room receiving care. I will never forget that kindness. I will never forget the blood drives, the support, the compassion, and the way the staff cared not only for James but for our entire family. This hospital will always hold a special place in my heart.

I was visiting a relative and was helped by so many employees as far a guided tours, food information and parking recommendations. They provided top care for my beloved family member and took detailed care while I was present. During the time of my visit the wait times were very long and it was explained why the volume was so high, including a few factors on this specific location - understandable. Julio was a great paramedic and employee representative of this hospital.

My symptoms got very bad by the time we were coming to El Paso so my co-driver stop and dropped the trailer at Loves and he took me to this hospital and 2 nurses had to help get me off the truck. When they got me situated in the ER then the registration guy came in and told me that I had to pay $250 in order to be seen by a doctor and to have the CT scan done. So I told him here's my bank card take what is needed for the doctor to see me because my kidneys were failing. I was admitted as an inpatient then I asked the nurse am I in Mexico or USA because they didn't serve healthy food they feed me a one slice bologna sandwich 3x a day. Again I asked are you sure this hospital not in Mexico. Then to be released from the hospital I had to pay cash or they wouldn't release me because the financial lady came back up and said we tried to withdraw the money and it declined so I had to call my boss to see if they had transferred the money into my account and she said oh I'll go to the bank right now bcuz where I'm from there's a 2 hour difference. So it got paid and I was released late that evening. That's when I learned that every state is different and the state of Texas will let you die they will refuse you if you have NO INSURANCE. Which after 4 years ladies in my Ostomy group chat told me I should've sued this hospital because I was in Renal Failure and if I hadn't had the money they would've let me die. My daughter is a nurse here in Washington state and she said mom here at the hospital we can't turn anyone away we treat everyone the same insurance or no insurance. If you don't have insurance beware they will make you pay upfront because it happened to me. THIS IS HOW MEXICO RUNS THERE HOSPITALS AND DOCTORS OFFICE.. Patients have to pay upfront to see a doctor and also for treatment or hospital stay...Also patients family has to provide the patient with 3 meals a day... In Washington state there's a law and a sign as you enter the hospital stating that if you have insurance or no insurance medical treatment can not be refused... This hospital I give a rate of 1
