I understand customers go thru items on shelves but this was more than just that. I also noticed many items had multiple price tags on them. I mean it doesn't take much to place current price ticket over original price ticket. Staff was friendly.

STORY TIME: I used…read moreto shop here often a few years ago. I remember walking out with bags full of cute clothes for cheap. Recently when I came back, I was disappointed with the small selection, goodwill-ish atmosphere, and the person I came with was bothered (basically harassed) by one of the employees. The employee who shall remain anonymous back by the fitting rooms stopped my relative while she was shopping and talked to her for over 15 minutes about a fundraiser he was attending, and tried to convince her to go as well. My relative thanked him for letting her know about the event and tried going back to her shopping, but he kept going on and on about the event. All she wanted to do was leave! I finally saved her by asking the employee for assistance, and after she got away he TRACKED HER DOWN ACROSS THE STORE to continue talking to her for another 10 minutes. I couldn't figure out where she went, and when I found her she was hiding with her cart behind a clothing rack. I feel kind of bad because he seemed lonely and in need of someone to talk to, but he pretty much chased us out of the store. Awkward and uncomfortable... Overall, the clothing is hit or miss, but the hits are extremely affordable and seem to be decent quality. Just be prepared to possibly get stopped by the occasional chatty employee.

Generally speaking, a lot of the customers here are females, and kind of like Target it's become very trendy and middle-class over the years. Prices aren't cheap but you can get discounts on fancy type things and mid-price things and they offer a hell of a ton of discounts and rewards for those who shop regularly and religiously, and I guess the problem is that the prices to begin with aren't usually great, but they're also not the worst. I've had good experiences with them and with their customer service especially.

My opinion on Kohl's is they aren't going to be around that much longer. Prices are seriously…read moreinflated. Check a name brand item for sale at Kohl's and then look elsewhere. You will see a huge mark up. So if you think you are getting a deal with a 30% off or even a 40% off coupon you aren't. Less items eligible for coupons. All of their patio furniture used to be eligble. Now, outdoor chaise lounges that used to be Sonoma brand and eligible are now advertised without any name and as "marketplace" items. I used to buy the lounges every year. Now they don't "qualify" for coupons. The store is never crowded even at Christmas. It's going downhill. This review isn't for any particular store, it's for Kohl's in general.

Date of visit: December 10, 2025…read more I've only been to this location a handful of times but I have to say that while it lacks the deals-to-square-footage ratio of some of the other stores, like the downtown location, it's also much more organized and clean than the Mayfair Collection store. Just needing a couple last minute gifts, this was a relatively quick in-and-out trip, but I was able to find what I was looking for and get in and out in a short amount of time, another goal achieved! Like most TJ Maxx stores, you aren't likely to interact with anyone on the sales floor, so either find it yourself or assume they do not have it, but as far as Maxx outlets go, you certainly could do worse than the Menomonee Falls outlet.
