So I'll start off by saying that our waitress was great... she made sure our party of 8 was well taken care of. Our drinks were always full. Sadly, her service was the only thing positive about my first time at this establishment. My main complaint is the wings... sure, the flavors on the outside were great but the chicken itself, yeah... not so much. I like a freshly fried wing that's crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. My wings here, however, were thoroughly cooked but cold in the middle. The chicken skin was rubbery, therefore chewy. So what does that tell me? They're precooked in house and reheated to serve. I only ate four of the eight. The rest of our party seemed to enjoy their wings, which is good on them. I just can't enjoy a cold centered wing. Much less a rubbery chicken skinned wing. I know a freshly fried wing when I see one and mine weren't freshly fried at all. My sweet potato fries... also cold. My son's lemon pepper fries were great. It is what it is. I'm not one to return food or complain about it in the moment. I simply prefer not to return. read more

Perfectly cooked wings with amazing flavors. We got 6 types but our favorites were the spicy garlic Parmesan and spicy Lemon pepper. You can split 12 wings to be 3 flavors. We got 24 wings and did 6 flavors. The extra hot were HOT! Good service. Not very clean restaurant with kind of gross bathrooms. They don't have carrots or celery. Be aware they charge for all flats and blue cheese as well as sides of sauce but don't disclose this up front. Beer selection on draft is okay. They didn't have an IPA on draft so I got a blue moon. The service walking in was friendly and homey. Cute small town feel to this place considering it's located so close to the UTEP campus. The Extra Hot wings were amazing and so were the spicy garlic wings. The cheesesticks were different than usual but great nonetheless. The wings are crispy and juice, definitely a step up from most wing restaurant chains. Only downside was how long it took to get the wings, it was a solid 30 minute wait considering how empty the place looked. We made the drive because why not but totally worth it. Wings are fresh, nice size and not breaded. The sauces are very good too. I got miner gold which is like a honey hot and garlic parm. The pricing is very decent considering most wing places will charge and arm and leg for wings. Small cozy spot with great service. If recommend you try it and they close at 3am! What?! Awesome right! If I could give this place less than one star I would. I went based on the high reviews it had and was extremely disappointed. The wings are a size small and the sauce was not tasty enough to make me want to go back. The shoestring fries were all broken into tiny one inch pieces. The beer was hot and had to be sent back. As for the restaurant itself it smelled like a greasy pit of cooking oil. They need a better ventilation system. The music was too loud for the crappy sound system they have. This is the best wing place I've been to so far in El Paso. From the service, value, to the food itself, it was a flawless experience. Service: I was greeted immediately upon entering and was told I could sit anywhere. The tables were clean and well prepped with the menu already there. After I was seated the cashier/server appeared to take my drink order. I had to ask him to repeat himself a couple of times since the music was so loud, and I was surprised when the music lowered as he left for the drinks. It means that they take suggestions and care about their clients comfort. He came back with the sweet iced tea (freshly made since it was not as chilled like it would be from a machine). I could taste the tea as it wasn't overly sweet. He asked me for my order and I asked if I could do a half boneless and half bone in lunch order and he said yes and accommodated! The 2 sauces I picked were the hot (their Buffalo sauce) and the Miner Gold (sweet and spicy). It also came with either Blue Cheese or Ranch dressing. I then asked for the wifi code and it took several tries but he was so helpful in getting it online. There were others eating and I saw that he took care of everyone's needs as well with boxes and extra utensils, in addition to answering phone orders. Food: My food came out fairly quickly and I got the wings naked with the sauces on the side. The wings were perfect. Golden brown and crispy on the outside without extra grease, and the inside was juicy and tender without any blood or brown spots. It didn't need any extra flavors, it was lightly salted. The best part is that they gave me flats which I love and didn't have to ask for. It was fairly big as well. The boneless came breaded and it wasn't dry inside. The waffle fries were not overly fried and both tasted heavenly with the wing sauce. I liked the Buffalo with the vinegary kick, and the ranch was rich and creamy, but the star and surprise was the Miner Gold. Oh my stars, the sauce was the perfect combo of sweet, spicy and a hint of coconut cream. It was incredible. I would buy the sauce and put it on everything. He checked on me various times and refilled my ice tea and when the check came, it was less than $11 for all that food! I was so full I didn't even finish my fries. What an outstanding value for the lunch special! I gave him a generous tip for the excellent service being that he was the only staff up front. The cook was a young woman and I complimented her on the best wings I've had in town! I'm definitely coming back here with it hitting all the right notes of service, value, and taste. At 11 o'clock on a Saturday night there wasn't much to choose from, so we came here based off of the reviews. Service was great, the waitress couldn't have been nicer and more attentive, she's the reason for any stars. This place is in need of a deep cleaning, the dust on the blinds is an inch thick, floors are sticky, and the air ducts are covered in lint, which is probably the reason for all the thick kitchen smoke throughout the place. Lemon pepper wings and fries were too too salty, Boneless wings were 90% breaded, kids chicken fingers had no flavor at all. You can tell that the oil used was old, which is probably the reason everything was over salted. A tempura type breading was used for the fried pickles, cheese sticks and chicken fingers. I had no issue with the wings. I ordered the parm garlic and lemon pepper boneless wings. They tasted pretty good and fresh. Sorry to say but the waffle fries were nothing special. Most of the food was already cold when I got home. What I did have a problem with was...the mediocre service I received. The wings are so crispy on the outside while the inside is moist and beautifully seasoned. The wings are incredibly flavorful and this is my go to wing spot. I've tried a variety of the flavors but Tajín has to be one of the most unique and the best flavors (bbq is also delicious). My only reason I removed a star was the fries. This place has a really good chicken sandwich. I order the spicy lemon pepper and it was delicious. I do wish it came with tomato & lettuce.
