Best Mexican restaurant within 50 miles! Kind and considerate staff. The owner works there often and is very nice!

We were really looking forward to some good southeastern mexican food. We didnt get it the $4…read morecheese dip was so runny from them trying to make it stretch further that it was so thin it ran off the chips. We've eating cheese dip nationwide & it was the runniest & most bland flavor ive had. But I know they added for too much liquid to make it stretch too far which is why it was flavorless & runny. Ok, got over it. But the server was not good at all. She "wrote down" our food order. 3 tables that arrived 10-30 minutes after us were receiving food while we still sat there with no food. She made eye contact with me when she was delivering a family of 4 or 5's food while we continued to sit there. Then I saw her run to the register, grab our paper order, and take it to the kitchen. I ALREADY knew when the 2nd tables food came out that she'd forgotten to give the kitchen our order. After dropping our food order off to the kitchen 30 minutes after we places it, she came back out and told us she didnt know what happened to the tickets in the kitchen but the kitchen must have cooked them in the wrong order, which was a total lie. we were 3rd table in after open and other 2 tables already had food on their table before we ordered. Yet those 2 tables left plus another that got there 10 minutes after us left before we even recieved our food. It didnt end there. Our food was nice & hot but she got my order wrong I ate part of it but not the part she got wrong. So not only did she forget to put our order in, she then lied about it and didnt even give me the correct order. She asked chicken or beef when I ordered. I only ever get chicken eating mexican but she wrote down beef. So I didnt eat it. I didnt say anything cause by this time, we'd already been sitting there 45 minutes & was in that kind of mood by then. They didnt offer to make it right by offering any type of discount, either, knowing they messed up. Theres too many mexican options to choose from to eat here. I'm all for giving 2nd chances when people do the right thing but this was a bad experience & no offer to correct their mistake from them. No worries, we will spend our money elsewhere.

It's good, but I thought the portions were small. The atmosphere is good and the staff was great.read more

If you are adventurous as we were, it's a very short drive to this local sight after dinner. As guests of long time Mexican family friends we were in the minority this evening but the food was great, service excellent and very comfortable surroundings. Several specialties on the menu immediately caught our attention: Spaghetti Fajitas served with traditional fajita meat and vegetables with cheese sauce which made a sauce very similar to alfredo with the spaghetti. I loved it. Football Fajitas which was a similar variation on fajitas served on a circular dish over a bed of excellent french fried potatoes. My assumption is the connection to Football is the dish somewhat resembles a soccer ball, known to most of the world as football. Beer is served but no margaritas which is a bummer. I assume the restaurant is located in the county, outside city limits, or some other of Mississippi's peculiar liquor laws may prevent them from serving the most traditional of Mexican food enhancements
