Excellent fresh food! It was a nice day to sit out on the patio, cool atmosphere with fun decor…read more Our server came right away. Once ordered, the food did take awhile considering that we had ordered salads. ( a family of four sat down and ordered well after us, yet received their meals before us. ) Over all we enjoyed the dinning experience and thought the food was delicious.

Rosie's has a great cantina decor, more authentic feeling than I'd expect in Florence…read more The chips are really good, it's like they're twice fried, darker brown than usual, but not at all burnt tasting, just extra crispy and pleasant eating. The salsa's quite nice as well. Love a good queso, but found the deluxe queso a little too much, I'd stick with the regular queso next time. Combo lunch platter of a Texas enchilada and crispy taco. The taco was a little bland, but that can be remedied with a dousing of salsa or hot sauce. The Texas enchilada was pretty danged good. We're Texas expats, and used to the cheese enchiladas with chili that are ubiquitous in Austin. It doesn't rise to the benchmark of Maudie's in Austin, but I've had worse enchiladas in Texas. Service was excellent. There's a decent amount of parking in Rosie's lot, but it's pretty tight; I imagine it's a bit of trouble on peak evenings. Next time we're in the Florence area, I expect we'll be back.

I had street tacos, which are now my favorite in town. The salsa is tasty not bland. The hot sauce both green and orange will fire you up. I will return and recommend Bongos.

The menu has a large variety of food, and the music is great. There's also a nice selection of drinks and they have the capability to make anything else you request. I ordered an appetizer for my colleague and me of a large cheese sticks. It was pretty hefty... $10 for 9 mozzarella sticks that seemed to have been microwaved with a side of ranch. We waited about 15-20 minutes for the mozzarella sticks. I would have liked a side of marinara rather than ranch. I also ordered an al pastor street taco plate for approximately $12 to go. When I opened the box, each taco was individually wrapped, but a lot of the meat + garnish had spilled. It didn't help that there weren't any napkins provided, and I received silverware (for tacos). The combination of red and green chili sauce with the al pastor was quite tasty. The meal had a side of salsa plus chips. I wanted to like this place so if I give it another try, I'd like to come back for the drinks.
