The rice and beans that I ordered on the side were the worst I had in PR. Two wild dogs joined us on the patio, keeping us all company as we waited another thirty minutes for the check. We left running to the car, very sad to have lost the day to a mediocre meal... but I was even more sad to realize that I had been sitting in the shade for so long that the indirect Puerto Rican sun had burnt my entire body to a bright red crisp.
