Tacos were good and service was fast. Definitely authentic Mexican food. I have been there a few times and have tried a few different dishes. Everything has been good.

Delicious, authentic great price always satisfies. The decor on the inside is absolutely great. Definitely don't feel like you're in Roselle New Jersey once you step in the door.

    Mole Enchiladas

So delicious. Ordered chicken mole enchiladas and quesadillas. Very her to find good mole sauce and this was perfect! The quesadillas were a little bland they could have used some onions inside. No guacamole on the side either. But I ordered an horchata was so tasty too! Will definitely order from here again.

The food is good. Tacos were authentic. My issue is the lack of service. I waited about twenty minutes for the bill which I found annoying. Would've given this place four stars if the service were better.

    73. Enchiladas Rojas

Wow. These have probably been the best enchiladas Rojas I have ever had. They were flavorful, well seasoned and well packed with meat. Big enough to feed two people to be honest. Rice was delish, well cooked and had good amount of salt. It wasn't to salty nor to bland, it was just right. The Redford beans were my favorite, honestly I drink it like water .. that's how amazing they were. Ugh !!! I'm def ordering ToGo from here very very soon !

We waited over 30 minutes after ordering for our food. I ordered tacos al pastor, which I thought were delicious, but as you can kind of see on the red tray where the food came on, it was very greasy. Lime also didn't have any juice, and small avocado pieces that came with the nachos we also ordered were not ripe at all. They were hard and chewy :(. I also very, very much love green salsa, but by the time I was finishing up pouring it all over my last taco, I found hair. I understand these things happen + the avocado/lime may not necessarily be the restaurant's fault as maybe it isn't the right season for them, and I truly wanted to get over it, but I'd truly prefer no hair at all in my food. Not the best experience. I did end up finishing my tacos because I was starving, but my partner left more than half the nachos he ordered. I do wish the restaurant the best as the ambiance was nice and I'm sure this doesn't happen all the time, but definitely could use some work as it's little things that can make a difference. :( Thank you anyways!!!

This is more of a take out spot. There were two tables inside and another 2-3 outside. I ordered to go and the food was cold by the time I sat down to eat (10 minutes). My order consisted of 4 soft tacos ( 2 chicken & 2 alpastor), 1 order of chicken chalupa, and 1 steak platter. The food was good but not amazing. The green sauce was nothing special - it had an interesting taste. I tried dipping a few bites in the sauce but ended up leaving the rest. In my opinion, the Alpastor soft tacos are better than chicken. The chicken was dry and so was the corn tortilla. But the alpastor was flavorful and goes well with the cilantro, onions, and lime on the side. My friend has the Steak platter and she rated it a solid 7.8/10. She wasn't a fan of the beans and the extra tortilla wasn't great either so that was left unfinished. The steak and rice was good and she appreciated the Chips and guacamole that came with. There is a parking lot available so street parking is not a concern.

We sat outside, when treated by the waiter we asked about the happy hour specials. He stated only if you sit at the bar. We asked if we could have the specials outside so we could keep our waiter. They agreed or so we thought. We ordered drinks and the waiter seemed irritated when we put our order in for food. He walked away as we started to tell him what we wanted. One of my friends ordered a drink that tasted like pure syrup. She asked him if he could take it back since it was undrinkable. He brought the bar tender out and he had an attitude about the drink saying he made it and it's fine. At this point with the rude arrogant behavior we don't want the food now. We canceled our order and asked for the check. The hostess offered the margarita flatbread for free and we declined. The waiter and bartender were very rude. He brought our check and surprise it was not the happy hour prices they had said they were charging. It's a shame this place is beautiful and has ample parking. The wait staff except for the hostess will have this place shutting down with the way they treat people.

I have to say the tastiest were the drunken birria nachos and the creamy Tuscan salmon in Alfredo sauce served over a bed of spinach. I will definitely return to try more of their delicious dishes

For some of us, it might simply call for going out and getting tacos or even just preparing our own. Situated in the middle of a residential neighborhood in Roselle Park, this establishment is set inside a small corner suburban home where some of my colleagues decided on takeout, which came highly recommended. Upon arrival at Taqueria La Casita, or "The Little House Taqueria," we were confronted outside by the neon signage reading "Tacos Open" and Mexican flags, among other pieces of colorful decor. Greeted by the staff inside an un-air-conditioned cozy dining room decked out in its Mexican splendor with 4 tables. In the back, a colorful menu with nearly a dozen different types of tacos and an array of other dishes written by hand. We opted for individual orders containing 4 tacos with Shrimp, Chicken, Steak, and Pork. While waiting, we couldn't help but notice the trompo--the spinning, shawarma-adjacent log of marinated pork used for Al Pastor, which translates to "in the style of the shepherd." Originating in Puebla, this came at the hands of Lebanese immigrants during the 1930s. The tortilla itself was freshly made, of the corn variety. They were stuffed to the brim with meat prepared in front of us and served with cucumbers and lime. Fresh condiments of diced onion, cilantro, and avocado were separated in their own container, and all were needed. Various sauces accompanied in small containers, such as green, which was jalapeño-based; the darker red salsa was smoky from dried and smoked chipotle chilis; and neon orange, which was a sauce made from chili de arbol and tomato. The guacamole was absolutely delicious along with the chips, and we couldn't get enough. The portion was a healthy size. The service was fast; Maribel was friendly and accommodating. Authentic, fresh, and affordable--we can recommend this place.
