I was excited to try the tacos here because of the great reviews, but was disappointed. While I thought the decor and atmosphere was really cool, the steak tacos and quesadillas had steak that was way too dry at least when I went. The al pastor was also dry, but better than the steak. We ordered and paid at the front, so table service is mostly having the food brought to you. Staff was really nice, food was great, and the atmosphere had an eclectic but fun vibe! Half of the table ordered birria tacos which were good, but i felt like i had to add a bunch of salsa verde to mine to give it more moisture. The table had a variety of fun sauces with the heat level labeled so we could know what we were getting into. Me and my husband gave this place a try . When you arrive they have two kiosk you can order from then you can take a seat and they call out for you and bring it over unless they are taking it to go. The service was pretty fast we didn't wait too long for food . They have a fairly decent size menu. A tad on the pricey size given the portions . I ordered the Birria tacos which were pretty good but different from most places I've tried fell on the bland side even dipping it into the consume. The sauces elevated it a little . Portion size was three small tacos but the meat servings on the tacos were hearty . I'll start by saying that their tacos are absolutely amazing. The meat is very flavorful and they don't skimp on the portion which is rare for a taco restaurant. I definitely plan to return for lunch. I liked that you use a kiosk to order also. It would be nice if they had a 3 taco option for their regular tacos (I think only the Birria tacos come in an order of 3). I didn't love that several of their salsas seem to be dairy based (I think either mayo or sour cream maybe). Finding a taco in New Jersey is not hard, but finding a really great taco spot is more of a challenge. Fortunately Taco De Ojo Taqueria has risen to the challenge. Located on one of the main drags of downtown Westfield, this restaurant has definitely made an impact on me with its decor, friendly staff and awesome food. Peek inside the windows of Taco De Ojo Taqueria and you'll find a beautiful mural painted inside with Black Lighting to bring out the neon colors. Seating takes up most of the middle of the restaurant. Across from the seating is the counter where you can order with a person or at a kiosk off to the sides. Keep in mind, sometimes the kiosk will tell you something is out of stock but it may not be, so check with the folks at the counter if you have any questions. My partner and I wound up ordering quite a pile of dishes with the intent of taking some to go for the next day. In a wonderful touch, when you sit down to eat they bring over several sauces that range from mild to hot including a Chipotle sauce and a tasty green sauce. Here's a rundown of what we had: NACHOS & GUACAMOLE A good guac is hard to find. Fortunately this place has a good one that is creamier than I anticipated. It also has Jalapeños, Scallions, Black Beans, Pico De Gallo, Guacamole, Cheese, Crema all added in. This this was very tasty and a nice opener for the meal. TACOS (El Pastor) Seems obvious right? If you're going to come here, definitely get yourself a pair of insanely stuffed tacos. I ordered the Tacos El Pastor and at first I thought "only two in an order?" but it turns out two is MORE than enough since they overload them with meat and veggies. When I folded it stuff was falling out the sides but I still had a very satisfying bite. The meat was perfectly seasoned and I had fun trying the various sauces. STREET CORN Instead of just slapping a bunch of corn cobs on a plate and calling it a day, the chefs here cut the corn up into "corn riblets" that allow you to enjoy them one small "rib" piece at a time. The corn was perfectly cooked at the toppings (which included Queso Fresco, Scallions, Chipotle Aoli and Cilantro) really added several layers of flavor to the already tasty corn. Tacos de Ojos Taqueria is a wonderful addition to Westfield's diverse range of restaurants. You'll definitely want to check this spot out! read more

Ive passed this place everyday for the last two months and finally went. Absolutely go to this Restaurant. They offer a variety of sauces that you can put on your food. Service was very nice, staff is very polite, place is clean, and nicely decorated. Got Chicken Tacos Chingona style and an Al Pastor Torta. I recommend this place, the food is delicious and everything is really flavourful. My rating is actually a 4.5 but unfortunately I can't give 0.5s. We tried their birria tacos and burrito bowl and we were happy with the flavours of both. All the food comes with a variety of different fresh sauces and spices that you can add at your will. We'll have to come back for the street corn bc I hear that is delicious here. The price is a bit on the higher end but this neighborhood is more expensive so it's reasonable that the prices are higher. Our orders were around $18-19 each. The service is OK, my only gripe is that they said they were out of guacamole but I kept seeing them serving guacamole to other patrons and also included it in my burrito. Yet denied me guacamole when I asked for it with my chips. The real issue I had was how unsanitary the bathrooms were as well as the dirty floor and tables. It looks really nice inside but I think chipotle and Taco Bell are cleaner across the board.
