The room was a bit spartan, but I always have said that the best Mexican food comes from these humble little mom-and-pop type places and not some plave heavy on atmosphere and ambiance. This place had cheap tables, but pleasant (though cheap) prints hanging on the wall. I took a menu and found a table. The woman came and with the same pleasant smile, she said she spoke very little English. I smiled and said I spoke very little Spanish. I was able to order with no problem by pointing at the menu. I ended up ordering five tacos. I ordered chorizo, asada, carnitas, cabeza and barbacoa. They brought me very good bean dip and tortilla chips to start with. The tacos were very good, as well. They brought a red sauce and green sauce with the tacos and both were good, though the green was pretty impressive. All in all, this was a great experience and if you find yourself in Decatur, Alabama, I would definitely recommend here.
