Plane nasty. Dont waste your money or health! Picked up food driving through, tacos had ground meat that was undercooked, were soggy like they had been made yesterday and reheated, and the nachos were just plane gross. Nothing was good, not even the salsa. To top it off, we asked for one taco plate and an order of nachos, they charged us for two taco plates, and when my husband picked it up they wouldn't refund the second order they had made by mistake, so we had to take the second plate and they didn't even give us the sides to go with it. This place is super inconsistent. Dine in is hit or miss, but our to go order (pictured) was the worst. Ground beef seemed like the safest option but my taco salad and the meat in our queso was completely raw. The interaction with the cashier was so disappointing that we just decided to toss our meal instead of having it corrected. We won't go back. read more

For to-go orders I was told BY THE MANAGER I had to show up at the restaurant, pay, and then they would START making my order. I said "I don't want to dine in, I want to order my food to-go so when I show up at the restaurant I don't have to wait to get it" she said and I quote "Call back when you're ready to use some manners" then hung up on me!? This is the best mexican restaurant in town HANDS DOWN! as soon as we walked in we was greeted by the staff they was very friendly and energetic. Our waitress was very knowledgeable about the different plates and prices. Oh the food was Aahhhmazing!! it came out hot, fresh, and QUICK. They were busy when we went and still had great service. I got a frozen margarita and it was soooooo good cheap and had just enough of tequila in it. I ended up getting another one. I give this please a 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND read more

Came with low expectations as every Mexican food place we've tried in Natchez area has been lame at best. Lunch specials were big portioned & dirt cheap. AND they tasted good! Great service & the best lg unsweet tea in town. Was told that owner is same as El Rancho across river... But whoever runs kitchen here is mucho grande better. read more

Stopped by while in the area. There's not many Mexican restaurants like this one left. I like how they still put vegetables in the rice, also how you get real cheese on your food instead of melted liquid cheese. I also liked how the enchiladas had the dark red sauce. I didn't mind the wait because my food came out hot and fresh. Because there is a bar area, you can smoke. That's the only issue I had with this place. Still, I will be back. read more

The service was terrible. We waited for our food for 30 minutes. The food came out cold, the waitress never came back and she forgot half of our order. We didn't even get all of the food we ordered. Another waitress told us our food was left sitting on the counter. They were also understaffed. The cooks and dish washers were taking orders and bringing the food out. This our favorite Mexican restaurant in town. Free and fresh chips and salsa, Good margaritas, meal portions are really good sized. We often order carry out too - I like the fact they use foil containers for carry out vs. styrofoam. read more

Two stars is being very generous. Let's start not with the food but the restaurant itself. The floors are absolutely disgusting. It seriously looks as if they have not had a proper cleaning in ages. This was not a busy night and there was trash on the floors, literally. These whole dining area had a sort of grunge feel to it. On to the bathrooms. I would not let my dog go to the restroom in there. Upon entering them one would feel the need to quickly don a hazmat suit. Urine on the toilet seats, floor, you name it. It's filthy would be a gross understatement, pun intended. Heaven forbid one take a black light in there. Next to the staff. Service was fast and courteous but fast is not always good and courteous does not mean should be a waiter or waitress. Addressing courteous first. Waitress was friendly but messed up order twice. This is a pretty common occurrence here. They are short staffed for one and two cannot find proper people for wait staff. On to fast. Just because a short wait is good doesn't mean good will arrive on your plate. Chicken undercooked, check. Steak grainy and over cooked, check. Food barely lukewarm, you guessed it, check. There are way too many items on the menu, too Americanized, and all consistently wretched. I would love to take a peep into the refrigerator to see what exactly I'm being served. I guarantee nothing is fresh. Ah, and not to leave out the recognition it deserves, the tortilla chips. My best guess is they were made well over a week ago. Stale, greasy, nasty. Just as stated above about the restrooms, I wouldn't let my dog eat this thrown together slop. Now, despite this being a harsher negative review, I will say this the following. I used to absolutely love this place when it first opened, eating twice a day there some times. They had a great energy, motivation, you name it. Unfortunately in the past few years it's gone to hell. A comeback would be possible and welcomed greatly by many but the passion must return before it's just another vacant building for lease. read more

The worst Mexican restaurant I visit. Our family loves Mexican food. We were on vacation in Natchez MS. First saw this restaurant and decided to stop. Inside and outside the restaurant was quite cozy. The menu was very varied. I wanted to try a new dish of pork. Dish in the picture looked very appetizing. I asked the waiter how it is called and ordered. Husband ordered as usual "beef fajitas". When we received, what we ordered, we were very upset. Fajitos was burnt, all the pieces of meat were black. A dish of pork, which brought to me, was not such as in the picture (at the picture, pork was large pieces, and look like a shish kebab). We told our waiter claims. He replied rather rudely that they are cooking only like that. Service was quick but quite rude. I do not suggest to anybody (and myself never go) to visit this restaurant. You will leave hungry and with a bad mood. read more
