La esquinita is a little corner spot that was recommended for good breakfast. It did not disappoint! Tienen de todo. Caldos, breakfast, tacos, burritos. Tortillas echadas de mano. Yum! They do take a while to serve your food there was only one lady cooking. It is worth the wait!

This place never disappoints! Family owned and real good home cooking with outrageous portions!

Probably the best food in all of Rosarito. Delicious food at Non-tourist prices. You will not be disappointed. Be sure to try the cebada (barley) agua fresca!

Whenever we come down to Rosarito, this place is a must. We have been fans of theirs since they were in a smaller location. The couple that owns the place are very humble and welcoming. The majority of the food that you order is made there on the spot. Obviously items like Menudo or Posole aren't. Their portions are enormous, so make sure that you look around if you can to see what other people are eating and then go from there to judge what you want to eat or possibly share with someone. Their prices are awesome as well. I just had a bowl of Menudo for $80 pesos!!! That's not even $4.50 here in the US!! Everything that I've had has been really delicious and is made with pride. Come give them a try, it's definitely going to fill you up.

Great food and portions..... great family run establishment. We will be back when we visit Rosarito again.

Great food run be a family that make you feel at home. The chilaquiles platter was HUGE and maybe I could have shared with my wife.

Great local's spot. No frills just really good food at really good prices. Order the Alambre (see pic). It was awesome and the best of the three meals we had thereby far. Although the others were good as well.

Front entrance.

Food was authentic Mexican food. Cooked just like I would at home. Im on vacay so I'm not cooking :) A hidden gem a block away from the tourist boulevard, with its own parking.

Good food, service, and ambiance. Nothing to write home about, but solid Mexican cooking.

El Nido was another restaurant we had high on our list after seeing so many great recommendations…read moreon YouTube, and it exceeded every expectation! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how beautiful the restaurant was. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with incredible décor featuring vintage radios, antique kitchen tools, and so many unique pieces that we found ourselves admiring every corner while waiting for our meal. The restaurant was spotless, the lighting created the perfect ambiance, and the entire place had so much character. Our server was absolutely amazing. He was a friendly young man who made us feel so welcome and kept chatting with us throughout our visit. Even with my broken Spanish, he made me feel completely comfortable, which I truly appreciated. Our food took a little longer than expected, but he let us know ahead of time, and honestly, we didn't mind one bit because we were enjoying the beautiful surroundings. One of my favorite parts of the experience was watching a woman handcraft the tortillas. Seeing them made fresh right in front of us was such a special touch, and they were absolutely delicious! The food was outstanding from start to finish, and the service made the experience even better. If you're visiting Rosarito, I highly recommend adding El Nido to your list. It's more than just a meal--it's an experience. We will definitely be back!

We saw a video on social media raving about this place but we were very disappointed. First of all…read moreparking is horrible, we had to park a few blocks away because the place they have to park was closed. There is nothing special about this place. We ordered simple plates, chilaquiles, a panela sandwich and a machaca burrito and had to wait 45 minutes to get the food. Chilaquiles were so soggy and the machaca in the burrito was dry. And before getting our food they gave us two bowls of chips and flour tortillas very salty by the way, we will definitely not be coming here again. The quality of the food is not worth the weight. The place and the music are nice but there are other nice places with better food that you will really enjoy.
