La esquinita is a little corner spot that was recommended for good breakfast. It did not disappoint! Tienen de todo. Caldos, breakfast, tacos, burritos. Tortillas echadas de mano. Yum! They do take a while to serve your food there was only one lady cooking. It is worth the wait!

Probably the best food in all of Rosarito. Delicious food at Non-tourist prices. You will not be disappointed. Be sure to try the cebada (barley) agua fresca!

Whenever we come down to Rosarito, this place is a must. We have been fans of theirs since they were in a smaller location. The couple that owns the place are very humble and welcoming. The majority of the food that you order is made there on the spot. Obviously items like Menudo or Posole aren't. Their portions are enormous, so make sure that you look around if you can to see what other people are eating and then go from there to judge what you want to eat or possibly share with someone. Their prices are awesome as well. I just had a bowl of Menudo for $80 pesos!!! That's not even $4.50 here in the US!! Everything that I've had has been really delicious and is made with pride. Come give them a try, it's definitely going to fill you up.

Great food and portions..... great family run establishment. We will be back when we visit Rosarito again.

Great food run be a family that make you feel at home. The chilaquiles platter was HUGE and maybe I could have shared with my wife.

Great local's spot. No frills just really good food at really good prices. Order the Alambre (see pic). It was awesome and the best of the three meals we had thereby far. Although the others were good as well.

Food was authentic Mexican food. Cooked just like I would at home. Im on vacay so I'm not cooking :) A hidden gem a block away from the tourist boulevard, with its own parking.

Good food, service, and ambiance. Nothing to write home about, but solid Mexican cooking.

Danny selected the Carne Asada Torte, which was just loaded with goodness and not sparing on the carne. My choice was the Tacos Dorados con carne, which came with rice and beans. The meat was plentiful, moist and succulent. Yum! After we finished, we ordered a kilo of carnitas to go, which came with beans, rice, guacamole, tortillas, salsa, pickled veggies, limes and cilantro & onions! We also ordered a couple of pieces of the pork belly chicharron, as well. (We were lucky because the pork belly goes quick!) An outstanding stop!

This place is always clean. And when we bring new people with us when we go down, they always love it. This is a great local place with a great atmosphere and a great crew. A very attentive. I went here and it was my son's birthday, and they noticed that we said happy birthday to him and they sent over a piece of chocolate cake and saying happy birthday without even asking. It's very nice to see someone taking initiative like that these days. Again, we'll be back and we love it. If you want great Carnitas, this is your spot.

They also give you a salsa de aceite thats SPICY but good Now let me tell you, the margaritas were top notch. You can tell it's made with fresh limes and you can order them without feeling over-sugared. I even got one to go lol I had the salmon tacos and they were good, good mix of veggies and salmon. Rice and beans were better than your average "mexican plate" beans and rice. Service was overall good, quick to serve drinks and food, and got the orders correct. Overall 8.5/10 imo, with drinks carrying.

We ordered simple plates, chilaquiles, a panela sandwich and a machaca burrito and had to wait 45 minutes to get the food. Chilaquiles were so soggy and the machaca in the burrito was dry. And before getting our food they gave us two bowls of chips and flour tortillas very salty by the way, we will definitely not be coming here again. The quality of the food is not worth the weight. The place and the music are nice but there are other nice places with better food that you will really enjoy.
