We were in the mood for some local pizza when visiting Legoland, so we came over to Goshen and found Village Pizzeria. The service was extremely friendly and welcoming! We ordered several slices of pizza, which were generously sized (regular, pepperoni), and house salad. The food was delicious and just what we needed after a busy day building up an appetite. They offer a couple of tables inside and a few outside, but otherwise it seems it is mainly carryout. Free street parking after hours was available just around the corner at the time of our visit. read more

Amazing pizza cooked by an amazing family! We had the friendliest and most accommodating service here! They were so kind and welcoming to us even knowing we were drifters passing through town on our way to Harrisburg from Albany! They only have a few tables inside and it primarily seems like a thriving take out business. They accommodated our group of 6 anyways! And what's really crazy is that the food was even BETTER than the top notch service! What a pizza!!!! Plus the antipasto salad was delicious and beautiful, the eggplant and chicken parm's were super and the portions were generous! We came here two weeks ago, and the pizza was amazing. The staff was friendly and the prices were also really good. My only comment to the management/owners is that in the hotter months, you should give employees at least a fan to circulate the air. There is no AC, which is not a problem for the customers, but at least management should be considerable towards their staff to give them proper work conditions. This place is good. PERIOD. It's unexpected and very small interior. But this place has good crust and great customer service. If I'm up in this area I am going back! The white slice was decent, the plain is where it's at. The Margherita slice is ok. I was hoping for better quality mozz and whole leaf basil. Pizza straight from the hole in the wall. I don't mean to call this place a hole in the wall because this is some of the best pizza I have ever had, but it literally is a hole in the side wall of Goshen with 3 tables and the BESSSSSST Gluten Free pizza I have EVER EVER EVER had. Have you ever had a great gluten free pizza and then you get to the crust and you're like 'what happened?' ..... well ..... this gluten free crust is REMARKABLE!!!! They import it straight from Italy! The owners daughter, most gracious and informative gal, guided me towards what is and isn't gluten free on the menu. It turns out someone close to her is also gluten free so the place being familiar with the allergen, is a bonus! (There are some pizzerias carrying gluten free pizza without knowing a single thing about it). So I love that they are knowledgeable in this regard. My mother hasn't quite found a GF pie that tickles her (difficult to please) tastebuds quite like wheat-grain pizza dough, but I think this may be the winner!! Our favorite dining experience while in Goshen (only 5 min from LEGOLAND). The absolute friendliest staff. And what about the food? Well it was FANTASTIC! You MUST try their meatballs, whether it's solo, in a Hero, or on a pizza. We ordered the Jumbo special - 2 large pizzas, large baked ziti, and large antipasto salad. A ton of food for ~$40 (slightly more than $36.99 because we added toppings to the pies). This deal is available everyday, just have to pay cash. I wasn't expecting much from the ziti or antipasto, but was quite surprised at how delicious they were. The salad was loaded with toppings and had plenty of deli meat and cheese, I didn't even need to add dressing or vinegar/oil. The ziti was meatless, but didn't seem to be missing anything because of the ricotta added to it. And that pizza was a highlight - we enjoyed our taste of NY-style pies! There's not much room to eat-in, as they function more for take-out/catering; however, the staff were so kind and brought out another table and chairs so we could all eat there, rather than going back to our hotel. We are visiting from Maryland and stopped at this pizzeria. Not only was the food amazing the customer service was stellar! They were super friendly and welcoming as soon as we walked in the door. My five year old is usually super shy and they made him feel right at home. We honestly felt like family and we have known them our whole lives. Came to town for Legoland. Searched reviews for local pizza in the area. We tried a couple shops and Village Pizzeria was one on the list. By far the stand out and really great! I called in the order, drove down and easily found a parking spot. The shop is small and all working there were kind. The shop is locally owned and I highly recommend supporting this business.
