    a plate of tacos

If you're looking for affordable tacos, this is the place to go to! It's located a little bit outside of UH in a taco truck. I usually eat about 5-6 tacos and that'll really fill me up. My go-to tacos are the barbacoa and al pastor. My friend introduced me to this place a while back, and I loved going here when I'm on a budget and I'm craving tacos. I introduced this place to my sister and now she's obsessed with this place too haha. The tacos come with onions and cilantro. They also give you limes and grilled onions on the side. They also give a spicy green sauce that comes in a separate container. This place opens late also, so if you're having the late night munchies, this is great for that!

Online says price is 1.25 on the truck says it's 1.50 then the lady says 1.75 and then very little meat most of it is all fat. Very disappointing won't be going back in

Absolutely the best tacos I have had in a long time. I ordered fajita tacos for $1.25. Good quality meat with grilled onions. The service was excellent.

Are you ready for an adventure? Then, head over to the 3100 block of Telephone Road just before the Wayside Drive intersection for a cheap and authentic Mexican food truck. Located in the Gulfgate/Pine Valley area, this orange food truck is literally on the corner of Telephone Road and Oakcliff Street. Here you will find an assortment of your typical tacos, gorditas, and quesadillas that you come to expect at any Mexican restaurant. On this visit, I was craving street tacos. I ordered five (5) tacos al pastor and five (5) fajita tacos. I ordered these to go and they were ready within ten (10) minutes. The best part was the price; I paid $1 each or $10 total which includes taxes. I went home and unpacked my plastic bag filled with several aluminum foil packets. Tacorriendo separated the two different types of tacos and included grilled onions with Serrano peppers and green avocado-based spicy salsa. The tacos were garnished with diced onions and cilantro. After eating these delicious tacos, I was compelled to write a review so other folks were aware of this hidden gem. This is a great place to practice your Spanish but if you are only comfortable with English, don't worry, there is staff that communicates in English as well. The only downside is that there is no seating area for you to enjoy these yummy tacos. I highly suggest that you get them to go. If that is not an option, you can eat them standing up at the bar attached to the food truck. Nonetheless, if you are near the University of Houston and you are looking for a cheap and local place to eat authentic Mexican tacos, Tacorriendo should be your first stop.

Amazing taco truck all around I 10/10 recommend. I've been going to this taco truck for a while now & it's definitely my favorite so far. Super cheap & fast. They also have parking.

I had just been chatting…read morewith Gretel about breakfast tacos the day we landed in Houston -- and breakfast tacos are one of my favourite things about visiting Texas. We pulled up to this food truck and, while placing our order, I instantly had the feeling that this crew knew exactly what they were doing. That impression proved to be spot on as soon as I took my first bite. The tacos were fresh, flavorful, and packed with the kind of simple, honest ingredients that make great breakfast tacos so satisfying. No gimmicks, no unnecessary fuss -- just well-executed food that delivers exactly what you're hoping for. The service was efficient, the operation ran smoothly, and it was easy to see why there was a steady stream of customers. Overall, an excellent breakfast taco stop and exactly the kind of local experience I look for when I'm in Houston. Saluti.

Luckily, this spot takes both card and cash! I got the small beef quesadilla, and it was loaded with cheese. The small quesadilla was $5.50, and it was pretty decently sized for a small. They have salsa set out at the counter, so you can pack as much as you like. The red salsa was smoky and SPICY. Very tasty if you like spice I see a lot of great reviews about this place. I would like to try their other tacos and give a more detailed review. I will be back! but for sure the quesadilla was a hit for me

I swear the Bulgogi Fries were screaming my name, though. Yoyo's Hotdog - Yoyo--YO. This thing slaps. I definitely craved a Coke or a beer while eating this because that salt kicks your taste buds' *ss. The caramelized onions paired with the crunchy onions were a double whammy that could topple a few hot dog title holders. The real winner, though, was the sauce--definitely something Asian-inspired. But hey, I'm running on five hours of sleep, and that's the best my smooth brain could come up with to describe the experience. Thanks for coming to my TED Talk.

I got their famous hotdog with spicy mayo, french onion, sautéed onions, and hot sauce. (That's how it comes standard) don't get me wrong it's definitely a lot going on from the flavors and the messiness of the dog, but the flavors balance out very well and the all beef hot dog is delicious. There's no spice from the mayo or hot sauce so if you don't like spice you'll be fine. I also tried their bulgogi fries which came with bulgogi meat, jalepenos, cheese and cilantro. My first reaction was it was delicious but it wouldn't be something I would get again, but after I kept eating it I realized this is actually really good and now when I go back I'll definitely try it again. Overall I definitely recommend this place to visitors or even locals
