I come here every weekend. Not because it's the best Mexican food in town, but because it's across the street from the laundromat and I can grab lunch while my clothes dry. i've been going here for years and i'm disappointed in my most recent visit. there was a miscommunication with my order. i went back to the register to get it fixed. right away, the manager (who took my order) gave me attitude in his response telling me i didn't order correctly, although i did but i think he didn't hear. all good, people make mistakes. the man must've been in a bad mood because he thought it was serious and printed "thank you karen" on my receipt after he corrected my order. i believed it was an honest mistake and i didn't mean to offend, so i don't understand where this response came from. read more

This place has lots of parking and a pretty decent size dining room. You walk up to the counter and order your food, fast-food style and someone brings it to you. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was mediocre at best. Not too much flavor and the portions, for the price, was alright. I think they could've given more rice and sides (guac,salsa verde, etc). The fish tacos came out soggy and super spicy with very little fish in it. Gorditas was alright. The bread was also a little soggy. I like my gorditas crispy and fluffy. The asada has good flavor but that's about it. read more

The food is good, but the service is horrendous. The employees are rude and don't care about special instructions or requests, they are not kind at all. I asked for the tacos with no onion, and they decided to not add cilantro or salsa that regular comes on it, and just plain meat in a shell. I've asked for some food and they don't bring it, and if i order online and ask for salsa they never give it to us. They one time messed up our food multiple times and did not apologize, instead got pissy and redid it. The ambiance isn't fantastic by any means, nothing special. El Rinconsito is a must-stop on your drive through Washington state. I don't mind going out of my way to get here because the tacos are SO good! My husband and I were thrilled to learn that there are several locations in western Washington, because we really can't get enough of their food. I recommend ordering the Adobada (Spicy Pork) street tacos. The salsa on them tastes soooo good with the seasoning that the meat is cooked in, but if you're not a fan of spicy foods, they're also good without the salsa. I have a pretty good appetite and can only finish 4 of them on my own (trust me, I've tried to do more)! My tip: Submit an order online before exiting the freeway. I am new to Moses Lake and heard this place was good. Well that was not my experience, when we walked in to get our to go order the waitress and manager were yelling at each other because she could not figure out which table the tacos went to even though there was only two tables. Then when we got home and start unloading our food we notice they did not give us rice and beans with one of our orders, then we ordered no onions on some of our items and every single one had onions. I had to throw mine out due to having a small onion allergy (not deadly). The food was bland and not very good tasting none of us finished our meals. Please stop putting lime in with the pickled vegetables. It ruins them. It changes the flavor completely. They do this at the Yakima branch and now you guys started and it's so disappointing. This is not a cheap Mexican food restaurant, so take that expectation out of the way. In Moses lake, the prices here are very sit down prices. The food, though, matches that standard. I've tried this restaurant on both sides of the mountain, and I can happily say that the quality is consistent. The tacos are full of flavor, the sauces are delicious, everything I've tasted here has been fantastic. I will say, they have messed up my order a few times. The positive of that is that they corrected it very quickly and ended up giving me both plates. The staff here is also very very nice. Very delicious Mexican food. Might take a while to come out sometimes and they'll have only one person to take your order but the flavor is the bomb. Burritos, mulitas, tacos and tortas I recommend. Came in to eat and husband looked at the Carne asada on the menu. I asked one girl if it was arrachera which is the skirt steak and she looked at me like I was speaking a different language she said she didn't know what that was so she asked another girl and she said the same thing. They asked the manager and he also said he didn't know. I work in the food business and I know exactly what cut of meat is used for all our dishes. For your manager to not know means they're not trained good at all. Then after we had waited about ten minutes for our food the manager comes and tells us they ran out of rice and beans and they asked if wanted to substitute it for french fries or wait another 15-20 minutes for rive and beans to be ready. Never again! I placed a to go order for three meals. They went 0-3. Missed the third order all together. Partly my fault for not checking the bag when I left, I'm old fashioned I guess, assume people take some pride. Order was 2 enchichangas 1 chicken 1 beef and a camarones el Diablo w flour tortillas. No sour cream! Received one chicken, with sour cream. Went back for the beef. Got back to the house and saw it also had sour cream. It was then I realized I never got my tortillas. Our family of three ate here today. First I will preface this with I like spicy from mild up to habanero hot. My taste buds tend to be more calibrated for hot. The servers were very conscious of heat levels of the menu items and offered counsel biased towards lower heat, a safe bet for a family with a toddler. I ordered the pollo en mole. My wife ordered chicken enchiladas. Our son had soft tacos. The food was delicious. The mole had a great flavor and was balanced well with a mild pepper. It's by far the best I've had in a very long time. The enchiladas were very good. Hands above those one might get from say an Aztecs or other large chain. The enchiladas had a great fresh flavor and it was accentuated by the four house hot sauces/salsas. Each of the sauces had good flavor and each had their own heat profile. For me personally all were very eatable however there was only one that I would say was mild for me ( probably medium for most others). The other three were hotter.
