Excellent authentic Mexican restaurant in Moses Lake we stopped at on the way to Seattle. Indoor and outdoor seating, friendly service and I knew it was going to be good since majority of the patrons were spanish speaking and the chips and salsa were delicious! We ordered birria tacos and an al pastor torta. Ive never had a torta before it was HUGE and delicious. The birria tacos were also large and delicious but they were soft tacos and we were expecting fried ones but we may have ordered wrong. I liked the food. The portions were hearty and very flavorful. Very friendly, even to us out of town folk.

We ordered quesa birria, ceviche, beef enchiladas and shrimp dish. All except ceviche came with beans and rice. The rice was very dry, overcooked and inedible. Shrimp had no taste. The free salsa and ceviche were only passable items to eat. Birria was just about okay. Portions are huge. Not sure how these places get 4.7 stars. Must be one of their bad days. read more

Stopped in shortly before closing time for a take out order. They did try to not serve me until I said it was a to-go order. That being said, they did serve me and it was my first taste of birria. I LOVE Mexican food, but why have I never tried birria before? I waited much too long. I was very impressed with my tacos, it was a little clunky driving and the way it was packed was a bit odd, but they also weren't packing for someone driving 70 mph trying to eat delicious tacos! Tacos are huge, tortillas are homemade as well as the sauces..I had mole.. it was spicy but super good. (I'm European by the way) the Birria is good, tender meat but consume could use a bit more flavor. The beans are homemade and amazing. I'd eat a plate of those. Our waiter was a young guy and super attentive, helpful, and quick! The place was packed, family friendly, clean bathrooms, and if we lived nearby would go often! Came here for dinner and got the fajitas. It was so much food that I was struggling to finish. The steak was really good for the price and I enjoyed the mushrooms and onions that came along with it. Green peppers aren't really my thing but they go well with the rest. I really wanted to give this a 5 star review. We walked in right before 12 noon on a Saturday and the parking lot was pretty full from our street view. There was no problem getting in and several empty tables which was a surprise. The man that appeared to be the manager was hustling as fast as he could, but he didn't have much support even though there were several others working. The teenager boy working stood around doing nothing much while we didn't have water or silverware until after our tasty chips and salsa were eaten. Absolutely OUTSTANDING find with the help of Yelp. We were traveling from Spokane to Olympia and wanted to stop in Moses Lake for lunch. I got on Yelp and saw that this place had great reviews. From the minute we walked in, we knew we made the right choice. Everyone was super friendly and efficient. The guys working made jokes with us and were very nice and helpful. The place was absolutely packed and they managed us all seamlessly. They have a great menu with tons of options. I had the polla ala crema which was some of the best I have ever had. The rice was also so flavorful as were the beans. My boyfriend loved his burrito and my daughter loved her quesadilla. The place was clean and comfortable, with easy parking and very close to the freeway. They lose a star because their prices are on the high end for Mexican AND they charge $3.50 for refills on the chips. I hate it when restaurants do this. I mean, we are spending 20.00 per plate, just bring us a free second basket of chips that literally cost 30 cents. Anyway - we did enjoy our lunch minus the few things mentioned above. Boyfriend ordered tacos adobada and a side of fries, I got the taquitos supreme with birria meat. I lived in CA for 30 years and this is the best Mexican food I've found in WA state. The beans are SEASONED and so is the rice, adobada meat was delectable. The salsa is spicy enough that you want a cold beer, but not enough to really hurt. The birria meat was a tad dry, but nice and flavorful. I will stop here every time I make the drive over the pass (which is almost monthly). Do not skip. read more

I needed recalibration for Mex after a lesser experience in ML a few months ago. Mi Rancho recently opened, and was all that we expected/hoped for. Wifey went lite with Sopes, and Grandkiddo went typical Americano chicken strips, but I tested them with a Chile Relleno. Excellente! Nice size, cooked just right with oozy cheese inside, and the red chile sauce was excellent. I had to use all my limited Español to communicate, but I'm always up for a challenge in that regard. Especially when the folks there were friendly and welcoming. They're not cheap, but price increases are everywhere now. Oh well. I'll trade my disposable cash for that Relleno anytime... read more

Stopped here on our way through from Seattle to Spokane. It was freezing outside and Tacos Mi Rancho was warm and inviting. I got the Al Pastor tacos and they were huge. The meat was sooo tasty and the flour tortillas were fresh. Hubby got the Carnitas torta and it also was huge...he couldn't eat it all, which is not the norm for him (but he did eat some of my tacos). It had slabs of cheese and slices of avocado on it and hubby said it was one of the best tortas he has had. The server (maybe owner?) was super nice and it was all around an excellent lunch.
