Throughout the evening, our guests could not stop complimenting the atmosphere, the attention to detail, and most of all, the warm professionalism and attentiveness of your staff, add to the fact that pozole wasn't among the menu choices. Every member of your team played an important role in making our night unforgettable--including your outstanding security team, whose presence gave us comfort and peace of mind. We especially appreciate the time you dedicated to helping us design the color scheme and for keeping communication with us clear and effortless from the very beginning. A special acknowledgment goes to your DJ, for using good judgement and doing what made him comfortable. The music flowed with just the right energy to fit the night. We had our daughters quinceanera on Friday July 17th 2026 and I wish we took a little more time looking into this venue and reading reviews. Here is my feedback on El Sombrero... Venue: This venue is very big and spacious which is great but it is outdated. They definitely need to do a lot of upgrading. The floors are cracked and slippery. The walls are cracked and dirty. The AC did not work very well day of our event and all 200 guest were hot and uncomfortable. The chairs were dirty and stained. The charter plates cracked and chipped. The linen (table covers) worn out and limited on colors to choose from. It's unfortunate that we didn't pay attention to these things until after we paid off the venue. You rely on the venue for this since it comes in the packet. You cannot decorate the venue a day before your event, it has to be until day of. Food: The food was good, we had birria and chicken Alfredo. They did not provide the chips and salsa like it stated on the contract. Originally they had offered chicken nuggets and fries for kids and they canceled it half way thru the year. I came across a client that stated they did the same thing. The keg of alcohol was also changed to glass bottles of alcohol. Staff: Some of the staff were helpful. We only had 2 waitress for 200 ppl and they seemed overwhelmed. They definitely were under staff. Our coordinator Sarahi was in charge of our event and was helpful at the beginning of the year when it came to making payments in person. I did notice attitude changes when something wasn't sitting well for her and along with clients. The day of our venue I hardly saw her. Not once did she come up to us to ask us if everything was okay. We had to be chasing her down every time we were having an inconvenience. Our event was from 5pm-12am and wanted everything cleaned by 12:30am. We had to rush to take everything out and once we did that, they closed the doors on us. Not once did they thank us for the service or anything. Security: Security will pick and chose who they want to pat down and what I mean by pat down is them putting their hands inside your waste line (men only). Not even the TSA at the airports do that. A lot of guest complained about their Security and how uncomfortable they felt being searched and watched throughout our event! If I would of known these things prior to our event, we definitely wouldn't have had our event here but thankfully we did not let these things ruin my daughter's day and still made it fun and exciting! read more

Bad service, 12K dollars and the AC doesn't work. 300 guest and they only had 2 servers. Security harassing all my guest. Coordinator not helping with any of the issues. Never again using this place. read more

Had my daughters quinceanera here on February 28th 2026. Had a rough start when I first started making payments was made feel like I was an inconvenience for asking simple questions. Felt very uncomfortable and wasnt being considered. Being as im the one paying thousands of dollars I feel that to be the bare minimum asking for consideration and respect. Horrible communication skills with team lead or management whom ever they were. Was rushed 98% of the time during planned meetings. There was a fire 2 months or so before my daughters quinceanera and I found out through social media, this I feel is something I should have been informed of by management. Had to ask for holes in walls to be repaired before the quinceanera because the holes were right at the entrance visible to everyone. The room they let the quinceanera use was dirty and had no ac or light inside. I had to ask for some of guests to be served during the quinceanera after they had already waited for 30 minutes to choose their meals, the servers acted like I asked them for the whole universe. The food was delicious and served hot!! My husband put a card on file and asked management to charge only our card for specialty drinks and even after he asked some of our guests still paid which we did NOT want!!! We had the venue till 1am and cleaners started cleaning at 12 which I found rude. The venue is pretty inside, and once all of our decorations and tables were set up it was beautiful! Wasnt allowed to set up the night before and had to clean up after the quinceanera at 1am in the morning, I was however allowed to leave some items and pick them up on monday as the venue is closed sundays. I asked a few people for the owners information or number and was ignored. My daughter had a good time, enjoyed her quinceanera to the fullest, and had no idea about all the nonsense. I wouldnt have held her quinceanera here if I would have known half the things I found out after already paying the nonrefundable deposit. read more

They make sure they handle all that was promised in the contract, great customer service super friendly and attentive staff. Loved everything on how hands on they are to make sure we do not stress about things they told us they would handle which they did. Food 10/10 and Sarahí is the absolute best she's on top of everything!! read more

If I could leave zero stars, I would. I attended a family member's quinceañera and both the security Juan and Roman the manager harassed me, accusing me of selling drugs based on how I dressed and looked. Their excuse was "look at the shoes you're wearing." I only went to my table to create a scene in front of everyone. That's discrimination. Don't celebrate your parties here. Si pudiera dejar cero estrellas, lo haría. Asistí a la quinceañera de un miembro de mi familia y tanto el personal de seguridad Juan y Román el gerente me acosaron, acusándome de vender drogas por mi forma de vestirme y lucir. This place is horrible. Had my wedding there and they do not do business right! At the last minute they changed my wedding coordinator a a week before the event! I had a new wedding coordinator who had no knowledge of anything! The stress they put us through was too much. There is absolutely no sign of professionalism in this place. BEWARE of this place!!! At first they are very nice and give you lots of hope for your event, what you get is no professionalism and nothing that they promised. Our event date was double booked and we were forced to change the date, this caused us many headaches and lots of time was spent on going back fixing things (invitations, save-the-dates, and favors). Their "wedding coordinator" was replaced during our planning. The new coordinator was never informed of previous arrangements and not very knowledgeable on anything. We were promised beautiful fresh flower centerpieces and what we got was 3-4 roses and a lot of greens!!!! Would not recommend this place to anyone!!!! read more

I came to my cousins wedding nice venue from the inside they have security , very clean . The people are so attentive to any spiller liquids walking around with the wet floor signs ! Everything was going great until I went to the bar .... the short dark bald guy RUDE . He wanted to give me my beer in a dusty pitcher & when I told him I wanted another pitcher he was so bothered . Don't judge a book by it's cover. It wasn't in the best location and the outside needed grass/weed cutting but the inside is spacious and very accommodating with three different sections. We hosted a 300 people graduation party (can go up as high as 500 people) and it was very memorable for my wife and I. The guest loved the inside of the place. Alejandri (who help us planned) and Omar (manager for the night) and his staff along with Juan/Lt. Garcia (the security guards) were very helpful . Omar did everything we ask for of that day and the security made us feel safe and protected our cars out in the parking lot. There's a big stage, huge dance floor and changing room. I'll book this again in the future if I had another event since I'm local to the area. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who's looking! read more

they totally ripped us off of $3,200 and said we couldnt get anything back when they promised me the world, a month before our wedding and they never called me to pick out my food or decorations. They ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL at all, my fiance and i finally found a place and are grateful but they told us our last payment was due 60 days before and never called us to tell us and cancelled our even without us knowing.they never answered our phone calls or messages, a TOTAL RIP OFF. The girl, Rocio is real sweet at first but at the end gave us a bad attitude. this place is horrible and lacks professionalism.be careful of these people who only want to take advantage of everyone. read more

This place is overrated for 3 stars and over priced for being in the hood , I stopped in to check out the spot with my fiancé for our wedding and the guy inside was rude in basketball shorts and sandals .. We hosted an event here Aug 2nd (Quincenera) and give nothing but thumbs up to this place. People were good to work with Rocio, Salvador, David & Bob were awesome. Kept us inform throughout party staff (waiters & bartenders) were friendly and fast. They decorated the place beautiful. I was kind of in the air about it due to past post and party coordinator that we were suppose to meet there which stood us up but dealt directly with hall personal & no complains here. I definitely recommend for your next huge event. read more
