Their food isn't much to rave about, it is your basic Tex-Mex and the spice level isn't there at all.

Dropped in to eat after exploring the cavern. Salsa was good. Chips were bagged. Our server was completely unaware of anything we needed. Order queso. It never came. Never got refills on drinks. Had to ask for more salsa. Mini tacos were so so. Cheese enchiladas were fine but rice and beans didn't have much flavor. It wasn't crazy busy when we ate and other waitresses seemed to be attentive to their tables, so perhaps it was just our server. We won't return. read more

We moved to Marble Falls over 3 years ago. This is my husband's favorite Mexican restaurant. We tried most of the Mexican restaurants in Marble Falls but this is our default restaurant. First time to eat here. Gave it a 4 because I was wanting a margarita but the tea was very good. Ordered the Mexican plate with a puffy taco and two enchiladas. The puffy taco was delicious and I loved my cheese enchiladas. I would recommend this place unless you are wanting margaritas. You can bring your own liquor or beer. Also the service was very good. This is one of my favorite places for lunch and breakfast! The staff are very friendly, the food is great and the service could only be better if i spoke Spanish. They are one of he few places that has spicy salsa so be ware if your tongue don't like to tango! My favorites here are the Chimigangas, and Rasa con Queso. Basic, decent Tex-mex at reasonable price. Chips are not great - taste like bagged grocery store chips...but quesadillas and enchiladas and tacos are pretty good. The breakfast tacos take awhile - so call the order in ahead of time if you don't want a lengthy wait. read more

First there was the dead baby raccoon in the parking lot, but more on that later. Food and service were okay for a roadside Mexican restaurant. A MAJOR cause of concern was the hand written 'sign' in the bathroom that read "Don't put toilet paper in the toilet". That means used toilet paper is supposed to go in the garbage can under the sign which would make it like a self contained petri dish. So if you did happen to catch some random bacteria from the used toilet paper you could simply wash your hands but they have to be dried on your pants because they were out of paper towels. Upon leaving the restaurant we talked to the person at the front about the dead raccoon and discovered that they knew about and had been told by multiple people but that no one wanted to pick it up. After hearing this and experiencing the bathroom I wondered what the situation was in the kitchen but since I had already eaten I blocked those thoughts. The good news is that I did not get sick after eating there but even with that good news I will not be returning. read more

Loved it! Our family was pleasantly surprised at how delicious everything was- it being basically a restaurant hooked to a gas station. The good: 1) Great tacos. The meat was shoved in all the way up to the top of a hard shell. My son was impressed. 2) Excellent chicken. My husband had chicken tacos and his eyes lit up on the first bite. 3)Good selection of kid meal items. Everyone found something they liked. The bad: 1) because it is so good, it is busy. Tapatio is my go-to place in the morning for breakfast. My daughter loves their bean & cheese tacos. I love the #7 which is the omelet plate. For lunch my husband and I do go here a lot because of its quick service. If you like fajitas you will love the FAJITA JALISCO. I order mine with no beef double chicken ( the original order comes with beef, chicken, shrimp). The TAPATIO SALAD is awesome and big! Their staff is always very attentive and get you taken care of. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. They have an extensive menu, but I went straight for the my typical Tex-Mex meal. Enchilada(my choice of meat and topping), taco (my choice of meat; soft or crunchy), tamale, rice, beans, and salad, all for $8.99. Along with the standard of chips and hot sauce, we also had a choice of corn or flour tortillas with our meal. The service was very good, too. Just having a late lunch here. Husband had a ground beef crispy taco that as very good Then we shared an order of fajitas for one. Lot of meat including several shrimp. Everything is tasty and service has been very good. Only one person working, but only 2 other tables had customers since it is middle of afternoon. I always get the puffy tacos with carne asada, wonderful. Dad got the barbicoa and Hubby the caldo de pollo. The barbicoa was prepared perfectly and the caldo was chocked full of veggies and a chicken leg, very filling. The service here is always attentive. Hadnt been here for a while and me and my mom decided to go eat there since it was the closes ad we were in a mood for tacos. MAJORLY regret it. First of all they have lil girls that look like 12 year olds as waitresses. They do not greet you coming in . They have no manners and they wait on you like they are in a hurry. Ohhh but if cute guys come in they smile and greet them . The food was eehh ok. Flautas had cheese which i thought was gross. All gooey and it did not go well with chicken . The beans tasted burned .
