Tried this for a lunch place, in part from fellow Yelper reviews (haven't been steered wrong yet, thanks Shannon G!) Service and quality of food were great, better than most places we've tried. Our server stayed on top of things, even as the lunch rush started. The menu has several unique offerings, and lots of options depending on how much you want to eat. (One mistake - we both ordered a cup of tortilla soup, and were surprised at how much we got with that! Some rice, pico, sliced avocado, tortilla strips, it would have made a complete light lunch by itself. So we were full by the time the main plates arrived). I got the Super Tucan combination plate (taco/enchilada/flauta, w/beans and rice), and the Hop Queen got the Chimichanga. Both were very generous portions of tasty, fresh food, nothing tasted like it had been sitting. With the tortilla soup, this pretty much would have fed us the rest of the day. Being a tourist sure does make you hungry. First I want to say how wonderful everyone was. A cheerful greeting when I walked in. I sat at my table and immediately someone came around the corner with chips and salsa. Someone else came and asked if I wanted to order a drink. Uhh, ya I do. I ordered a peach daiquiri. So girly I know. Peach daiquiri came with whipped cream and a cherry. Was a great peach flavor. Loved it. Chips and salsa were great. . The chips are thin, warm, and lightly salted. The salsa was a mild spice. Enjoyable. I ordered the shrimp tacos. Comes with 2 street tacos and double the tortillas on each. Purple cabbage, cilantro, tender shrimp. I liked the sauce they had on the side. Also had black beans and rice. The whole meal was pretty filling. Service was pretty fast. The drink came quick. The meal itself was quick. The chips and salsa came like seconds when I sat down. They also have outside seating as well. Although it was warming up, I wanted to be inside. There's a small free parking lot kitty corner to the restaurant. Also free street parking too. Everything was great. And would love to come here again next time I visit Marble Falls. read more

The queso is so good I saved half my meal for next day. It was like homemade queso you get at Christmas gatherings. . Enchiladas delicious as well . I'm driving so didn't get the yummy margaritas. Jardon Corona has 4 locations in the Austin area and the one in Marble Falls likely tops them all with eclectic dining in the historic downtown Marble Falls. The restaurant is cozy and doesn't at all feel mainstream. Good for a night out with your SO. The dining room is spacious without feeling wide open with TVs flanking the ends giving you a good view of the game. The menu includes breakfast, lunch, and dinner with a a special touch to classic Tex-Mex. While I visited for lunch, I try their Enchiladas El Mole and had one of their 10 lunch combos, chicken enchiladas in Verde. The rice and beans were not the run of the mill and were each enjoyable. The Verde sauce wasn't as tangy or abundant as I would have like and somewhat on the dry side. The pickled Jalapeños were interesting. Enchiladas En Mole was top notch which I am highly recommending. . Chips and salsa outstanding. Service was outstanding. Really need to try their margs next time. read more

Everything I've had has been wonderful! I ordered in tonight for my son and got the beef fajitas à la mexicana, which is always fantastic. Queso, salsa picaso. (It's spicy) Then I tried the flautitas. Those are awesome! The only input I have is...if you're getting an order to be delivered, don't put it on a bed of lettuce since it's basically like putting those beautiful, wonderful pockets of crispy love on water. But the top half was great and I still ate the bottom. Ha! That being said, everything I've had has been wonderful! The guisada is the some of the best I've had. The fajitas are great...even better à la mexicana. The queso is . And the hotter salsa...I could eat everyday! read more

We came for lunch cause wife my wife wanted calldo res, beef soup. This is a spot we try to visit when we're visiting family in the Austin and surrounding areas. We were greeted fairly quickly and seated right away. Our server came by fairly quickly, took our beverage order, returned with our beverages and chips & salsa and efficiently took our lunch orders. Food came out fairly quick and looked and tasted very good. They do a nice job all around. Room is a tall ceiling with nice decor in a casual setting. They do have outdoor seating available. We stopped into Jardin Corona per a recommendation from a local who said it was good and reasonably priced. The place was packed! I really loved the atmosphere, with all the floral decor. The staff was kind and attentive, the food was a little slow so we filled up on chips and queso, but again the place was packed! 2 of the adults for suiza enchiladas, they said they were good. I got the shrimp enchiladas and switched my sauce to the suiza sauce and it was really good. My kids got the kids grilled cheese and hamburger and they let them switch their sides to the rice or beans which was nice because my kids says she's "allergic to potatoes".... we ended up with meals to bring home since we ate so many chips. I would recommend the place for sure, at least from this experience. read more

I really enjoy eating at this restaurant, there are a couple of others in Austin and Burnet as well. The chips and salsa is good, as our every entrée I have tried. I like the cowboy, fajita à la Mexicana, and chile relleno. The restaurants, all of them, are clean and you get seated quickly. There are TVs on the walls all the way around the place, if there's a sporting event on you can see it. This is an all-around great restaurant. Not sure the tortillas are homemade, but they're also not bad either. Love to eat here. read more

We usually only stop for one meal a day on road trips and this was a good one! In historic downtown Marble Falls, we stepped into this clean, comfortable, open, contemporary dining room and were thrilled with the whole experience. Our server was there before we needed anything. Food came fast, delicious and hot. Hubby's beef tamale was the best WE have ever had. The meat and sauce inside the fresh lightly packed masa, was moist, tender and the whole tamale was packed with flavor. My 2 taco plate with double beans and no rice, was just what I hoped for. Lots of fresh crisp salad. Taco shells homemade, light and fresh. Chips & salsa! They're generous with their fresh thick tasty salsa, should be an award winner! Chips are hot, fresh and paper thin! This restaurant is located right in the heart of tourist town Marble Falls, but the great thing is, they do not have tourist prices. Lots of indoor seating along with covered outdoor seating overlooking the strip. They start you off with a big complementary basket of chips and a large bowl of salsa (good, but not very spicy). We started off with two margaritas which come in large frosted mugs. You should know that their happy hour starts at 3pm Monday through Thursday and ends at 6pm. Basically two dollars off margaritas and a dollar off drinks. We got the beef fajita enchiladas, and the veggie nachos with chicken and the portions were considerable in size. I was barely able to finish off my enchiladas and the wife had to get a to go box. Normally, I would rank the average Tex-Mex restaurant between three and four stars. This place has the right formula going for it, large portions, extensive menu, good margaritas, complementary chips and salsa, and an all-around good value with good service. If this place was closer to home, I'd be a regular. read more

We often go there after our worship service on Sundays. they accommodate eight or 10 of us comfortably in the service is impeccable. Of course we all need separate checks and the waiter is only too happy to do that. The prices are very fair the food is delicious. My wife gets their spinach quesadillas and they are delicious. I like the waldo de Rez. is packed with the most tender chunks of beef and perfectly cooked carrots and potatoes. The broth is excellent. But to tell the truth, a bowl is way too much for me. When we were seated at Jardin Corona, I was concerned about the noise vibrating throughout the room. The place was packed on a Sunday afternoon, but the high back of our booth gave us privacy & we were able to have conversation. We were quickly greeted by a precious young lady who took care of our needs with both a beautiful smile and great efficiency. The chips & salsa were excellent & even with the large crowd, our food came in a reasonable amount of time. The Calderon De Pollo was wonderful & my husband totally enjoyed his crispy tacos. In the past, I've recommended Jardin Corona. Tonight I was disappointed- again. I thought the time before was a fluke but unfortunately it's a trend. The staff is polite but very shy. This could be due to inexperience(host and waiter). The food was quite bland and even though I ordered chicken quesadillas, I'm not entirely sure if that's what I received. I could not eat my meal. The environment around me was unclean. The kicker for me was when an employee actually kicked trash under my table while walking by me - and he looked down to see what he kicked but kept walking. The drinks were the best part of our dinning experience. Very pleasing to the eye and tasted well. The chips and salsa were brought out very quickly. The chip type and salsa type complemented each other well. I could see Jardin Corona selling salsa! I ordered the Chicken Quesadillas Plate and the Sangria Wine. read more

Terrible food. It's reheated trash. The staff is weird and watches you eat. They also have everything precooked so nothing is fresh.

Queso was really watery, to the extent that if you didn't have a plate under your chip when you dipped it you would get it all over the table and yourself. Margaritas tasted like they were made from 100% mix with no tequila added at all. Chimichanga was dry and mostly tortilla, very little on the inside. Quesadilla was excellent, and our waiter was very good. This area has many, many places to get quality Mexican food and I'm sorry to say that this isn't one of them. read more

Seems like they're pretty good at consistently moving customers through the restaurant. Chips, salsa and queso were really good. Got the house coconut rocks margarita, so delicious. Had some past experience visiting Jardin Corona at the old Pond Springs location so decided to visit the Marble Falls location on a recent road trip. Almost home, but it was a long time since breakfast in Fort Worth. Place seems popular with the locals especially the patio. I had one of my all time Tex-Mex faves shrimp enchiladas. Three corn tortillas nicely filled; smothered in ranchero sauce and cheese. Served with my preference of charro beans. Quite similar to an old DS fave Mexican Louie's. Still wish I could have that meal one more time. GF started with a rich broth tortilla soup and a bean and cheese chalupa as her entree. Also good bites; only possible change on my end the enchiladas could have done without the provided sour cream. That's just a personal preference. Not much left on her plates either. Nice meal but paying the tab was a bit hard. I stood at the counter for at least 4 minutes while a host fumbled around and did nothing. Finally, a girl came out of the kitchen area and returned to her station. Worthy of another visit if I'm in the area. read more

It was a long 24-year wait, but Marble Falls finally ended up with a place to eat exceptional Mexican food*. We had been extremely impressed with everything about this eatery. We were regular customers and visited several times each month. That all changed last week after dinner. If you've ever had food poisoning, you know the symptoms and the timeline. My wife ate the enchiladas verdes. A few hours later, she became violently ill and was very sick throughout the next day. She was sure the cause was spoiled chicken. I contacted the restaurant via email to let them know, primarily because I didn't want anyone else to get sick. They never responded. I guess it was great while it lasted, but we will never eat there again. We just hope we won't have to wait another 24 years to eat Mexican food in Marble Falls. * We love Agustino's food trailer for breakfast and lunch. read more
