My Wife and I went once before with the in laws when the restaurant first opened and, to keep it short, we never planned on going back. Tonight she mentioned going out to eat and we wanted something "new" so we decided to give it another shot. BOY am I glad that we did! The food was INCREDIBLE! Small enough restaurant to enjoy excellent vibes paired with consistent service and hospitality. Amazing food, amazing service 10/10!

On the first day of an approaching heat wave I rode my new KTM to Klamath Falls for lunch. This new restaurant relocated from Dorris. The empanada dish had three empanadas with lettuce, diced tomato and cheese on top. It didn't have a strong flavor; no jalapeño ingredients. The chips were good but the salsa was too watery. The staff are friendly and efficient. The matching chairs and tables look nice but aren't very practical. The chair backs are rounded--not easy to hang a coat over, and have large round bases, as do the tables. So if you move your chair close to the table, your feet are crunched between the bases of chair and table. There is amble parking.

This is a wonderful restaurant, Amazing and delicious food! Charming and comfortable atmosphere, sweet and good hearted service! 5 Stars!!

First time coming here and we will definitely return! We came in on a Friday evening and the 1st floor was packed. We went up to the 2nd floor and the waiters were very attentive. The food was delicious and we also had fresh made complementary chips and salsa.the portions were huge and ended up taking some to go.

    Beer with dressed rims! Yup!

Great service, love the atmosphere, and best of all- the food! Chili is banging! Tacos! Yum

The food was fantastic and the service was great too. In a town saturated with Mexican food (and pizza), this is a place above the rest.

A ribeye and a filet mignon. the ribeye wants to be medium rare, and the filet mignon was supposed to be medium. what we got was raw on both steaks. Even after returning the filet mignon to cook longer, if they still returned it raw. And when they said they had an open bar of mai tai was served with orange liquor instead of orange juice or pineapple juice. For prices they charged, I paid in the Bay Area of California this place was not worth the stop.

She was very short and cold.. Ambience was perfect. Would've been a cute romantic date night if I didn't feel so uncomfortable throughout the night. My boyfriend loved his prime rib. We got the chimichurri bites. I got a fillet with shrimp on the side. Shrimp was delicious. The fillet was well not medium well, no blood. I think the reason the waitress had initially gave me such an uncomfortable feeling was I told her the last couple steakhouses I went to they gave it to me extra bloody. Even though we showed up before the table of 2 behind us they got served before us. Maybe because we didn't have a reservation but we weren't the only ones without one. She kept telling me my steak was coming out because she told the cook about my experience and I was served last. Anyways, taking my leftovers to this Airbnb and getting some A1 for my filet

This place reminds me of the fish houses in Reedsport, minus the salt air and seagulls. Servers were patient as we perused the extensive menu, and attentive after we ordered. The bar had more ambience than the main room with rows of white tables. Trying to avoid bibs and a brown meal, I opted to try both the cod and shrimp tacos. Note to self: ask chef to skip finishing salt, as I had more than my usual 'restaurant water weight' the next day. The extra-thick napkins -as every woman knows-are worth keeping in purse or car if you aren't a particularly messy diner. {can I buy some?} I'd read about the marinara (East Coast style) as shellfish sauce; my partner thought it was ok, while I would have preferred the traditional cioppino broth or the white wine scampi broth that my sister raved about. Her mussels really should have included bread instead of just a spoon so as not to waste that broth. In a second visit, appetizers (including the won ton poke tacos) and a beer left no room for dessert. My partner spent his GC on 4 2# Dungeness Crab, which were cleaning thoroughly and steamed to perfection- Great feasting to start the new year. Will definitely check out the patio when warmer weather returns.

We were at Omar's for dinner with a group of six friends on Wednesday at 6:30, and several of us wanted to order the crab special, but it was already so popular it had sold out. We all enjoyed the alternate seafood items we ordered (3 orders of breaded and baked snapper and Manila Clams), but the soft shell crab meunière was still on my mind... My husband and I had to try it, so we made an earlier reservation (5:30pm) on Friday night to see if we could snag the crab meunière. The restaurant was already getting fairly busy. Our server was so kind and our put in our dinner order right away. We were able to get the last crab dish. It was phenomenal! Buttery and delicious. We were so glad we came back twice this week. This time for Friday date night. It was a perfect experience. Classic old-school nice restaurant vibe with tasty well-prepared food, red leather booths, and friendly people. We ordered: -Soft shell crab meunière dinner special: 5 stars! (Honestly, I would give it 100 stars!) Go there and get this while they have it! -Fresh steamed Manila clams appetizer: 5 stars (I often order this appetizer as my entree and then get a side salad. They are so fresh and tasty. They're steamed in white wine, garlic, cream, and fresh herbs. Love this so much! Save some bread to dunk in the broth. -Brussels sprouts appetizer: 5 stars (prepared perfectly, crispy on the outside with balsamic vinegar and salt) -Butternut Squash ravioli appetizer: 5 stars (Cooked in brown butter. These are yummy!) -Maple walnut Manhattan: 5 stars (balanced, boozy, and not overly sweet) -Rogue Valley Trium ganache rosé: 5 stars, paired well with the clams and Crab My husband and I love Omar's. We've dined there many times, alone and with friends and family over the years. I appreciated that they have a mix of seafood options. Those are generally what we order since we're pescatarians. Another one of our favorite go-to options is Omar's panko fried Pacific oysters entree. (5 stars)

The parking lot is a bit awkwardly placed so there aren't too many usable spots -- I could see it filling up quickly on a busier night. The main entrance from the parking lot goes into the bar section, but there is also a quieter restaurant section through the double doors by the bar. My husband ordered the burger, and I ordered the fish & chips which came with a choice of soup (I got creamy tomato basil). We also ordered a shrimp cocktail to start. The shrimp cocktail was definitely the weakest dish of the night, as the shrimp was definitely not fresh. But everything else was delicious! The soup was super creamy and smooth (as the name would suggest), and the chives cut through the creaminess quite well. The fish & chips had a feather-light fry that was still amazingly crisp, and I loved the garlic fries! I probably could have salted the fish & chips a little more but that was my own fault, lol. You'll probably want to eat them pretty quick though since the fry is so thin, the part touching the plate can get mushy from the condensation. The burger was also excellent, with a super juicy patty! Definitely enjoyed our meal here and could see myself coming back, though there are so many restaurants to try in Ashland.

What a gem in Klamath Falls - Excellent service, food and ambience!…read more Decided to have dinner at 7:30pm on Sunday night; Girasol is located at the southern end of "restaurant row/main street." Quiet background music lends to the friendly atmosphere, enhancing the Hispanic decor. Crispy warm chips with beans and salsa were brought out immediately. Our server took our drink orders, and had them at the table within 5 minutes. The margaritas we ordered were delicious, and generously sized. Our server answered our menu questions so we could decide on our meal. We decided to try the albóndigas and side salad to start, and split the Fajitas Gigante. Albóndigas comes in 1 size, approximately 12 oz of a tasty tomato based broth and 4 hand-formed meatballs, roughly 1.5 inches in diameter. There were carrots, too, but no other vegetables. I'm used to a heartier version from a different region, so for me, the soup was unexpected. The broth and meatballs had a very nice flavor, though, so still worth a taste! The side salad consisted of chopped iceberg, some tomato, and shredded cheese. It was bigger than I anticipated, so that was a pleasant surprise! The fajitas came out on a sizzling, cast iron platter, looking and smelling amazingly good! I'm sorry I forgot to take a photo. My husband and I split a single order, and ended up bringing half of it back to the hotel. It tasted delicious. Everything was well seasoned, though the carnitas was a little too wet for my liking. (It was more like a pulled pork sandwich consistency, without any smoke bark.) That's just a personal preference, though. What was so great about the platter was that each protein had a distinct flavor! I've had mixed protein platters where everything tastes like it was seasoned with the same bottle of pre-mixed spices, and this is NOT that. The carnitas was subtle, and contrasted with the steak, which differed from the chicken. The shrimp was different from all of it, with more of a citrus and garlic profile. We were too full to order dessert, so we'll have to return on our next road trip!

I enjoyed a Modelo Especial chelada style in a chilled glass. ¡Perfecto! He ordered creamy enchiladas and I opted for a mixed ceviche tostada and chicken flautas. Everything was delicious and plentiful enough that we took leftovers to go and enjoyed them for dinner once we got home. Will gladly return whenever I find myself back in K Falls!
