Our server answered our menu questions so we could decide on our meal. We decided to try the albóndigas and side salad to start, and split the Fajitas Gigante. Albóndigas comes in 1 size, approximately 12 oz of a tasty tomato based broth and 4 hand-formed meatballs, roughly 1.5 inches in diameter. There were carrots, too, but no other vegetables. I'm used to a heartier version from a different region, so for me, the soup was unexpected. The broth and meatballs had a very nice flavor, though, so still worth a taste! The side salad consisted of chopped iceberg, some tomato, and shredded cheese. It was bigger than I anticipated, so that was a pleasant surprise! The fajitas came out on a sizzling, cast iron platter, looking and smelling amazingly good! I'm sorry I forgot to take a photo.
