We stopped here for breakfast before a visit to OIT. The place was like walking into an old sleepy town diner, which was very nostalgic. The staff knew the locals orders and rattled them off as part of the friendly greeting. The menu has a great selection. I opted for the ranchos hueveros eggs. My son enjoyed the classic short stack. This is the town's local restaurant. This was our first stop on our roadtrip. I was here with my family on Saturday morning for their breakfast. It was definitely getting crowded as time went by. I am glad they had gluten free options for my mom. Those that have celiac, this here is an option for you to eat. I had their Huevos Con Chorizo w/ refried beans and their house made gravy. It had a kick not too bad, the refried beans with the house made gravy helped a lot. That gravy was really good, I should've asked for another pour ontop hahaha! This place was slammed when we went in, but the server made us feel very welcome and, though crazy busy, she served everyone with a smile and friendly chatter. The food was excellent and filling. My oat and pecan pancakes were delicious! It is a family-friendly place, and I noticed special consideration given to a family who's little boy wanted some blueberries. read more

I was in town for work and this was my last day of training. I walked in after some yelping and was soooo pleased I did. It was fairly early during the week and so not crowded at all, although definitely not empty. It felt welcoming and a place locals love. Oh and coffee cups folks had donate definitely a vibe! With the new menu all the prices have gone up. Some dishes cost $3 more. That is in line with the rest of town but this good diner menu has lost value. I might not come in as often. read more

We were on a road trip and stayed in Klamath Falls as a base for Crater Lake and Lava Beds national parks. We went to the Klamath Grill for breakfast and it was awesome!! We actually went back the next morning! The seasoned waitresses took care of us and the food was great with "lumberjack" portions. The restaurant was filled with locals which says a lot. The guy that gave this a one star review has a history of giving bad reviews, so I would take his review with a grain of salt. The food is standard American fare, so if you're looking for something fancy, this isn't the place. If you're hungry for a traditional American style breakfast, however, this is the place! If I ever find myself in Klamath Falls again, you bet I'll be having breakfast here!! read more

Whenever we are on vacation, we try to go on the last day to a sit down breakfast instead of the hotel complimentary breakfast or fast food breakfast. On our Way out of Klamath Falls, Oregon we had breakfast at Klamath Grill. Its a small diner style restaurant, easy to find and parking was on the street. Middle of the week so plenty of parking, not crowded in restaurant. Waitress greeted us and told us to pick anywhere to sit. She was prompt to bring us water and hand us menus. We ordered and food was fast, hot and good. What we got: Diced Ham and eggs with hash browns, apple oat pancakes, pigs in a blanket (sausages "wrapped up" in pancakes), stuffed french toast (stuffed with Marionberry and ricotta) and eggs and bacon. The apple oat pancakes and stuffed french toast were the best out of what we ordered. I love potatoes and the hash brown were on point! The waitress was friendly yet no nonsense and efficient. Just looking at the place from the outside might make you want to think twice but you can tell a lot of locals go there and I can see why! Definitely a nice little mom and pop-looking shop, great home cooked breakfast, not too pricey. read more

I used to get these at a small family deli in Santa Monica over fifty years ago, and these Klamath Grill blintz were every bit as good as those I used to order those many years ago. Just passing through! Stopped in for brunch on my way back to Southern California. I ordered biscuits & gravy and lobster melt to-go. The gravy brought back memories of my childhood in Kentucky. I ended up eating half the lobster melt. The pieces of buttery lobster peeking out from perfectly grilled toast. The waitress Sandy was so friendly and attentive. Food arrived FAST and HOT! I cannot thank the staff at the Klamath Grill enough for coming to the rescue today when I had a group of 20 senior citizens out for breakfast/lunch and the place we had reserved did not open at the time we were told. The staff let us "crash in" and put tables together and served us with smiles and kindness. Thank you, Klamath Grill. And the food was FABULOUS! Also, a shout out to the kind gentleman who offered up his table and moved so we had more room. I wish I had caught his name!!! read more

The food here is of a "greasy spoon" diner type. Good prices and great portions. The Crab Benedict was beatuiful looking with a hashbrown smile and two crab benedicts as the eyes. A decent amount of crab meat but it gets swallowed by the large amount of hollandaise. Not bad for the $10 price tag. The french dip was a large portion. The beef was leftover, but that's understandable since they probably don't go through the entire roast every day. The bread was really good and the fries weren't bad either - apparently the chef cuts the potatoes fresh every day himself. A good greasy spoon place. Friendly staff and place was clean. Food did not knock me over and was pretty much just run of the mill. I had the typical Eggs/Bacon/Hashbrowns with Biscuits. Biscuits fell apart (like FELL APART), so pretty hard to manage. Bacon was so-so. Given the options in K-Falls, I would probably check out one of the other places for breakfast. read more

You might have to get creative if you want to have a vegan dish, but this place has plenty of ingredients for you to choose from, including avocado. Find something close to what you're looking for on the menu and then work with your server to make it fit you. Totally do-able. The servings are large, the prices are fair, and the staff is nice. Surprised to find German influences on the menu, we jumped at anything German - not just because it was different, but we actually enjoy German food. The potato pancake was turned German with the addition of sauerkraut mixed into the grated potatoes. The pancake came with a heartier and meatier bacon rather than the heavily fried crisp chip. The Ranch Breakfast had a meat option of smoked German sausage - a spicy kielbasa wiener that was sliced open and grilled. The breakfast included the standard toast choices except for the biscuits. I jumped at the atypical biscuit option and received not one but two tall biscuits. The bonus biscuit was tucked away to enjoy later on a hike at Crater Lake. The diner was full of cordial regulars. I wouldn't be surprised if the bar stools were marked with the names of the long-standing customers. read more

The Klamath grill was wonderful! We stopped by to eat on our way home, driving back to California. The quantity of food was incredible, we were so full and still had to take half our plate home for leftovers! The coffee was our favorite, I don't know how they make it but the vanilla coffee was so yummy that my husband and I still talk about it. The staff was super kind too and answered all our questions in a friendly way. All in all we had a great experience here and I would definitely recommend it to everyone! It's a clean and cute place! Updated Review: 1 Star increases to 3 Stars I took my now 4 yr old here for pancakes at 0830 Sun morning. We'd gone to Waffle Hut Sat morning so I like to explore the spaces on these rare back-to-back breakfast outings. We got a mixed wait staff - the taller waitress was really good - talking kindly to my shy son, getting him crayons despite his inability to answer her when she asked him if he would like crayons, extra napkins (without needing to be asked) and assisting in a syrup spill quickly! She is definitely a 5 Star waitress. The other younger waitress is quiet, shy and less attentive. 1 Star still for pancakes. Just not great 5 Star for the chili cheese omelet which was made from homemade tasting chili, a very generous portion and served with a huge portion of hash browns! No Mt. Dew (Waffle Hut also serves Pepsi and they have Mt. Dew). I moved my 1 Star to a 3 Star due to a much better experience on my 4th visit now. Hit or miss service and food (pancake specifically). I took my 2 year old here for pancakes Saturday morning... to change up our Waffle Hut routine and try out their pancakes. 5 star - lots of room and clean tables/ restaurant 1 star - my son and I were given our food and never again spoken to. I had fantastic apple-oat pancakes here. Shredded apples and oats in the pancake with pecan bits scattered on top and sides of syrup and cream cheese. I used only the cream cheese since the pancakes were sweet already. The short stack of two plate-sized cakes filled me up. The wife couldn't finish her 3-egg veggie omelette with hash browns and toast, though she ate all the fresh vegetables. We arrived just before noon on a Sunday and the place was busy--very popular with elders and families. The servers were friendly and efficient in this casual small town restaurant.
