The takeout process here felt a bit messy. After ordering, I thought I would receive a text message or some notification that my order was ready, but it never came, so I ended up stopping in myself after 30 minutes. When I checked in, my order was ready but they could not find it. They ended up cooking another one and then also found the original one, so I ended up with 2. However, they also didn't prepare my coffee, so it just overall felt a bit chaotic. The waffle itself was a lot sweeter than I expected, even without syrup. The portions are huge though, and I enjoyed the quantity of meat and veggies. I went here with my partner and his sister this morning. We arrived around 11:30 and the place wasn't too busy but wasn't empty either. We got a table immediately and our waitress brought us waters and took our drink orders. She gave us plenty of time with the menu and took our orders when we were ready. I got the 4 sausage links with eggs and hash browns, my partner got the strawberry banana waffle, and his sister got the peared up waffle. I also got a hot chocolate, which was pretty thick and a little too rich to finish. The whipped cream it had was great, though. Our food came out fairly quickly and was good. My eggs were good and the toast was nice. The hash browns were a bit chewy and tasted a bit like they had been cooked on a cooktop that hadn't been cleaned in a while. The sausage was also super tough and I wasn't able to finish it. The waffles my partner and his sister got were good, they didn't have any complaints about them. Our server was very nice and checked on us frequently. The prices were pretty affordable and the table was clean. The restaurant as a whole looked pretty clean, on par with a standard diner. There is ample parking both on the street and in their private lot. If you're in town and looking for a place for breakfast, definitely stop in! Ate there twice, I guess I'll never learn. Stoped there for a late lunch, server was great, very personable, now the food I had a hamburger on rye bread fry's and ice tea. The hamburger had been cooked too death, was as dry as Death Valley, bordered on inedible, the fry's on the other hand were among the best I've ever eaten. All in all my lunch was a bad experience. Val's chicken sandwich was mediocre, chicken was pounded until it was way bigger than the bun, and looked as if it had been thrown together. Not much taste. Oh well thought we'd try breakfast the next day, burned waffle, uncooked pancake's, need I say more, worst breakfast on the planet. The whole place needs a reboot, great service however. read more

Horrible food and service. Honestly was so surprised how this place has gotten such good ratings. We came in on Saturday morning, lots of tables open still so not packed, we stood there waiting a while to be seated. Once seated, the waitress never checked on us, never brought any water, until we had to flag other servers down to come take our order and still it was about 25 mins of waiting at the table before we could put in our order. Food itself didn't take too long. When we tried to pay at the counter, we also had such a hard time paying waiting for a while for them to figure out who our waitress was and which table it was? BTW the only time we saw our waitress was when she dropped off the food cause someone else had to take our order and she also never delivered the toasts that came with the order. Never once came to check on us on how the food was or if we need anything else. Not a single time came over to refill our water. My husband and I just decided to not bother anymore. And this place is apparently known for leige waffles and their chicken? I ordered liege waffles and chicken. I have had leige waffles before and even the prepackaged one from Costco does not taste this horrible. It tasted like I was eating partially raw/undercooked biscuit dough that was so dry, heavy and tasteless? Then the "honey" drizzle on top didn't taste like honey it was more of a crystallized sugar thick syrup? And the chicken tender was just generic - nothing special, taste like those frozen chicken tenders you can get anywhere and make at home. The bacon bits on top was just dried, burnt, inedible. My husband's dish was chicken fried steak omelette. It was better than mine but the chicken fried steak has this weird "old" smell once you bite into it. Nothing special. Waffle Hut is right next door to the Cerulean Hotel, so we thought it would be practical to grab breakfast here on our way out in the morning. plus, it's hard to pass up a breakfast place with so many raving reviews and tasty looking pictures. i'm sad to report that my experience did not live up to the hype. from the moment we walked in, something seemed a little off. once we were seated, we waited more than 10 minutes for someone to offer us water and coffee. our table was passed up by employees 3 different times as they checked up on other guests, but didn't even bring us water. after about 15 minutes, we agreed to get breakfast elsewhere and were seconds away from standing to leave when a waitress in a totally different room looked across, noticed we hadn't been served, and came over to check on us. she asked if anyone had taken our food order, and i let out a grumpy, exasperated "no... no one has even offered water or coffee yet." i actually didn't mean to be grumpy to her in particular. she wasn't one of the employees who had passed us up, and it was the first time i'd seen her. it was just bad timing since we were moments away from leaving. we ended up staying, somewhat reluctantly. they seemed motivated to make it right, so we ordered our coffee and food, and i put on a less grumpy face. after the waitress took our orders, the food came back quick (about 10-ish minutes). my kid devoured his entire pancake. he hasn't met a pancake he doesn't like (lol). my partner had a maple bacon liege waffle. he thought it was so-so. i tried a bite and personally didn't like it. i love waffles, and i'm glad i didn't order one. i had over medium eggs, sausage, and hash browns. the eggs and hash browns were pretty good, but the sausage had a subtle aftertaste i didn't enjoy. the coffee tasted weak and bland, so i only took a few sips. all in all, the food itself was pretty mid, it served its purpose. we all agreed we wouldn't return the next time we stay in Klamath. while i appreciate the staff doing what they could to smooth things over, we also got the vibe that they do not have an organized system of assigning and looking after their tables (just kind of seems like a free for all), and they seat way more people than they have the capacity to handle. read more

My chicken tenders were on point. Thick sliced chicken breast breaded and deep fried. Topped with melted butter and maple syrup, and sprinkled with chopped bacon. The best I've eaten.
