Torta de milensa pollo, OMGAAAAAA!!! Delicious!! The place is a hole in the wall but the sandwich! I've been here 3 times. First was an order for To-go. I had ordered three potato taquitos. I was disappointed they gave me a chicken taquito since I am a Pescatarian. But an honest mistake is ok. The second and third visits were for dining in and customer service were superb. i had the same waitress on both occasion. The staffs here speaks mostly Spanish, I need to polish up on my Spanish again. I highly recommend the fried whole talapia fish, guacamole with chips, and freshly squeezed orange juice. read more

First time customer and I am very happy about my choice. Ordered a takeout (covid19 times, sigh) on taco Tuesday, which means I went for tacos. My girlfriend and I picked al pastor, carnitas, shrimp tacos. They were superb! Fresh, zesty and fulfilling. Tamarindo drink was great as well. Huge plate of guac and chips. I've been here enough times now to know that when I want really good Mexican this is the place to go. The tortas milanesa de pollo is my go to. It's a monster of a sandwich. Fried chicken cutlets, avocado, refried beans, chipotle, lettuce, shredded cheese, onion, all on delicious bread. The tacos al pastor are also delicious. 4 tacos for $7. Our most recent find is the queso fundido con carne....oh my...very gluttonous. When we ordered it with our entrees the waitress looked at us like we were crazy but it was so worth it. The food might be good but the service was horrible. One of the girls gave me and my family an attitude the entire time, we felt very uncomfortable and when I we got the bill and I asked politely why were we getting over charged she was very confrontational and said very angrily that she was looking at the newer menu (which had different prices that was not available for costumers). I read something about concrete cheese and may have experienced this also. Attribute to my non-hispanic background and maybe I don't have a grasp of all the consumable Spanish cheeses out there. It was shredded and white, similar to cold mozzerella, but I'll never know. I will go back for the tostada and just ask for light cheese. Beans were good, tortilla good, salsa good. It was late, I was hungry. Brought home the tostada and thought all the shredded stuff on top was cabbage. I was excited for the healthy-ish event, but it was nearly all the mystery cheese and a shit load of it, like wow!! Light on the cheese next time. This place is disgusting. I had walked in around 9pm and most of the tables were occupied so we had a seat right by the register. They gave us complimentary salsa and chips which were pretty good, until I saw them reusing the same salsa and chips people had left behind on their plates! I wanted to walk out at this point but stuck around since I was starving and had already ordered . I had steak burritos which were ok and al pastor tacos which were kinda dry, service was also terrible, they took a while to even notice we had sat down, and only came to the table to bring us the food and the reciept, oh and they don't accept any type of credit or debit card!, I had to walk down bergenline and find an ATM! Pastor and sausage tacos are good tasting. The sausage tacos are a bit greasy and chicken a bit dry. Reasonably priced and quick.

Ordered some sunflower quesadillas only to find out that there is a cheese in this world equivalent to concrete. Never in my life have I came across a hardened rock solid cheese. Since I was presented this challenge, I proceeded to take the quesadilla home and reheated it only to have the melted cheese harden out again like concrete. Maybe the universe was against me that night and presented me with a batch of cheese that didn't agree with me. I came here on Valentine's Day with my significant other. We both have a specific diet and can't eat any animal products(meat, dairy, butter, etc.) We ordered two burritos and it arrived with massive amounts of cheese all over both of them. After the fact that we specified no cheese or sour cream. We asked our server to take it back and when she brought it back it looked as if she just brushed the cheese off of the top. There was cheese in my entire avocado salad and underneath my entire burrito. We spoke to her again and told her we needed to leave because our needs were not being met. She didn't ask to resolve the situation but instead let us leave without saying anything. Never coming back here. read more

Of the many Mexican restaurants in this area it is one of the best. Delicious and true authentic Mexican cuisine. One of my favorite is their Posole soup which comes with tostadas made with refried beans, lettus and queso crema. Tacos are very good. They offer delivery and is very family oriented. really solid, traditional mexican food... proper tacos, sopes, huareches etc, all very good and fresh. that you get it all at a really great price really wanted me to give it four stars, but it is just shy of deserving such a high mark. while overall everything we had was fresh and tasty, underneath all the fixings the meats in the dishes was just average at best. We will definitely be going back, maybe once we get to try a few more dishes, they'll earn that fourth star. read more

I signed up only to write this review. My husband and I used to go every saturday and the girls working there were super nice, they then changed the girls and service is not the same. Also the food varies a lot depending who's in the kitchen. We went there yesterday with our toddler and it was full, so we were waiting more than usual which was fine. After 1 hour of waiting we asked when our food was coming, she had no idea and 2 guys that had arrived 20 min before (40 mins after us) got their order! Really? The reason? They ordered tacos, which I had also ordered and never before did they care to bring all together, we stood up and payed our water, the waitress didn't even care, that bothered me, she wasn't even trying. I was so hungry we ended up going to mcdonalds across the street (for the first time in years). We will never go there again! read more
