Pollo tacos

My job loves this place, we order from here all the time. They deliver or you can pick up! There is also dining inside and outside. Where we are located they don't normally deliver, but since we always have a large order they make an exception. Very friendly and always fast delivery. Food is great! Everything I've tried is always delicious. Thanks for always providing quality service with amazing food! Some new pics added

You know what bugs me most about restaurant hours? When they publish the hours on their website and then are closed 40 minutes before said time. That's what happened to me at Hal Yamashita. Finding the doors locked and then a cook shaking his head. I walked down the street to find a new Casa Del Taco locale opened up. Now 8.20pm maybe late for some folks on a weeknight but for a culturally Spaniard eater that I am 10.30pm is normal. So showing up 40 min before closing should have been good. Luckily I literally passed the truck on the way over. Had a handful of tacos and a coke and kicked it solo in front of the truck. Folks working were friendly and the food was solid. It was just an unexpected turn from the Japanese food I was expecting. Tacos to the rescue...

Yes, this place is great. Full 5 stars good. Prices are fair, the food is incredible, service is fast, ingredients were fresh and the portions were proper. I can't wait to go back.

Good food.Portions are huge.Delivery is very late. Chicken enchiladas and shrimp tacos are my favorite.

The atmosphere is nice and welcoming. The service was friendly. Food is all homemade. Therefore, there is a little wait. If you're ordering food for lunch while working, be sure to place your order ahead of time so you're not late heading back to work! I had the enchiladas with chicken with beans and rice. Although the chicken inside the enchiladas wasn't seasoned, the green sauce made up for it. Their salsas are great with lots of flavor. My goto Mexican restaurant from New Jersey!

This place was on my list of places to try so took a ride up there. I seen the pictures of the shrimp tacos and wanted to try it. I called in the order and the lady told me it would take about 15 minutes. When I arrived I thought the place looked so cute outside. I parked in their private parking lot. I was greeted by a super nice lady and waited a bit because she had a call coming in. I asked the lady how much the homemade juices were and she said $4, so I passed on that. I paid a little over $15 for the tacos with my credit card and left. I got home and dug in. The shrimp was cooked and seasoned perfectly. They were cut into small pieces with some onions. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the type of tortilla that was used. All in all I had a good experience.

It didn't look like much from the outside but once you walk in, the place is so cute and colorful. I ordered the tacos special and got 2 chicken tacos and 1 veggie. My boyfriend ordered the enchiladas suizas. The enchiladas came with rice and beans on the side. For the most part the food was delicious but I wish the chicken had more flavor and spice, I had to put a lot of the verde salsa to improve the taste. My boyfriend said the same for the enchiladas sauce. However I would definitely come back and try other items off the menu.

Fantastic, authentic Mexican cuisine. Get the taco special or try the enchiladas or soups, all of which I've tried and loved.

A hidden gem for authentic Mexican food in NJ!…read more I recently visited The Mariachi Grill and was blown away by the flavors and portions. I tried the birria tacos, fresh guacamole with chips, avocado salad, mixed seafood in red sauce, churrasco, chicken flautas, and chicken enchiladas -- all served with rice and beans. Everything tasted homemade, especially the salsas, which added that perfect kick. The patio is lovely, great for dining outdoors, and it's BYOB, which is a huge plus! If you're looking for authentic Mexican food with great service and a chill vibe in Lyndhurst, this place is a must.

They are renowned for their vibrant flavors, bold spices, and diverse dishes catering to all tastes using ingredients such as tomatoes, onions, garlic, and cilantro. Authentic Mexican food is more than tacos and salsa. The Garden State is hailed as one of the most diverse states when it comes to food, hosting some of the best Mexican restaurants on the East Coast. Whether one desires a quick taco or a full-course meal, my friends and I were craving rich and bold tastes from Mexico and decided on this family-owned establishment for an early Cinco de Mayo dinner. The reservation was easily made by calling Mariachi Grill, located on Ridge Road in Lyndhurst. Upon arrival at this popular spot to locals, with its cozy and casual interior decked out in traditional Mexican vibes, we were greeted by the staff and immediately got a table by the entrance, but they also have outdoor dining, weather permitting. The menu selection is much smaller than at other restaurants. We decided on the Cheese Enchiladas, Beef Enchiladas, California Burrito, Beef Burrito, Chicken Fries with Fries, and Shrimp Fajitas. Some meals are accompanied with a small portion of rice and black beans. Complimentary house chips and salsa started our meal. As the restaurant is working on their liquor license, it's BYOB. One can bring your own tequila or wine, and the staff will mix it with their sangria or margarita mixes. We washed our meal down with a pitcher of sangria. The presentation was very good. The food was made incredibly fresh, well seasoned, deliciously tasty, and generous. The price was very reasonable for the area. Our server Lisa with her outgoing personality and her desire to make our visit enjoyable, which we didn't feel rushed. Good experience overall, which we can recommend.

I know tongue can sound very off-putting but when cooked right, it is so tender and flavorful. These lengua tacos were no exception! Bursting with flavor and filled, these are some of the heartiest street tacos I've ever had. The chips w/ guacamole and salsa were nice too. Perhaps not the best I've had but very good. The chips were fresh and the salsa was interesting. For the guacamole, this is personal preference but I prefer a chunkier guacamole. This one was very smooth. I also ordered the horchata which was good but a bit too sweet for me. The restaurant is BYOB. You can bring wine and they have a sangria mix for $15 and they'll turn your wine into Sangria. It was yummy! The service was very nice. Everyone was kind and friendly. The food came out quickly. The ambiance was great. I loved the tables and decor. They also had a giant TV playing the World Cup games. All-in-all, a delicious place. I will definitely be returning. Thank you, Azteca!

I think they are bogus. This restaurant has several locations around NJ. Parking is valet only. The ambiance and decor is pretty, fun and loud. Very loud. We were seated upstairs with a pretty good view of the restaurant. Where we were seated, the lights coming from the huge projector screen was annoying. They give you an iPad to look at the menu, which can be confusing if you are technically challenged. I am not. My husband is! There's a photographer going around asking if you want a picture. I agree with one of the reviews. It seems that they are only interested in upselling. I ordered the house margarita the regular size. It was OK, from a mix, but no tequila to be found at $13. My husband had a Pacifico beer which he ask twice for lime and a glass. They brought him a margarita glass and a few dry limes. At this point he gave up. I had the chicken fajitas. It came with Rice, black refried beans and some guacamole. The included three flour tortillas were terrible old and dry. The only thing good were the fajitas. We also ordered chicken chili rellenos. Came with the terrible rice and the refried beans. My husband said they were OK. Edible as he put it. The Mexican food here is not authentic. Now for the service. Our server, told us right off that her English was limited. We speak Spanish, so that was not a problem. The service is mediocre. We asked for water twice. Finally she brought it. But not the hot sauce my husband asked for twice. It's definitely a 3 star restaurant. Catering to people that want the fun but are OK with mediocre food.

The tacos, wow, I could've probably eaten six more if you put them in front of me. I like that the meat is chopped in small pieces and grilled to perfect without being sloppy yet full. It looks like they make their tortillas fresh in house which you can taste the authenticity and they did something interesting with the onions where they weren't chopped rather sliced and slightly grilled. In addition, the flautas were a little questionable at a glance if your visual eater because the lettuce did have carrots, the cream had a bit of a pink tint, and the chicken wasn't grilled rather finally shredded. Nonetheless, the flavor did not disappoint the flat sauce also came on the bed of lettuce, sour cream, tomatoes, a bit of cheese, and of course, avocado. I had a few questions in the way that they prepared the food and the back staff quickly stepped in to answer all of them and price wise.
