This place came highly recommended, and I have to say--the tacos truly lived up to the hype! We ordered the birria with corn tortillas to go, along with a few other menu items, and everything was absolutely delicious and worth trying. They also have a small salsa bar that's definitely worth checking out for fresh toppings to go with your meal. The inside space is small, but there's outdoor seating available, which makes it convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, adding to the overall great experience. read more

This place is legit! We had a party of 5 and all of our food was amazing. The homemade flour tortillas were so good we ordered more to eat plain. The portions were just right and the hospitality and service were equally amazing. We will definitely be going back very soon! read more

I popped in here to order take out as I'm visiting from out of state and needed some Mexican food. Don't get me wrong, New Mexican food is good but I was really craving Al pastor. I ordered 3 tacos- birria, Al pastor and chorizo. They were all very good and I was impressed with the salsa options- the onions and green chili more like a sambol was delicious and their spicy salsas had great flavor. Your order is placed at a counter, the woman who took my order was helpful and efficient. She explained the salsas to me as they were not labeled. There is a good amount of tables outside to dine at but it was too hot! I would definitely come back for more. read more

Moved here recently and don't know why I haven't tired this place sooner. Patio atmosphere is great with good music. I ordered the "El Jefe" and beef quesadilla. Both fantastic with the El Jefe being my favorite. My new to go spot in Los Lunas and arguably one of the best spots in Los Lunas. The salsa bar has a lot of options as well, my favorite is the roasted pepper with pickled onion. Never had it before coming here but a must try. read more

5 stars- food is amazing, restaurant is clean and inviting. There is even a patio with a pergola with cafe lights and outdoor heaters. We had the asada tacos and asada quesadillas. The flour tortillas are homemade and remind me of what abuelitas make at home. The frijoles rancheros were also delightful. The food is delicious and very well priced. We stopped in because the place we were gonna go was too busy! Best damn tacos I've had in a minute! We shared El Jefe & flautas and I personally didn't know what to take a second bite of next because it was so delicious! Flavorful, beautiful presentation, and big portions! Amazing tacos. I had one of each and the Al Pastor was my favorite. Carna Asada was the next best. The staff was very friendly and explained the menu well. If you don't like hand made, this place isn't for you. All fresh ingredients at a good price. Awesome place. The only drawback is the traffic noise out front. read more

We stopped here due to Yelp! What a fabulous little taqueria! Father and daughter run they were so helpful describing their delicious meats and making recommendations. Tacos, Quesadillas, all homemade tortillas and a salsa bar with a perfect variety to choose from. Only a couple miles off 25 into Los Lunas on Hwy 6. Front patio even has misters to keep cool!! Will be a must stop in our future! Even have enough left overs for dinner tonight! I must also say it is very affordable!!! read more

We had been driving by this place but never stopped. Yesterday we had lunch there; birria tacos were excellent and came with beans and a little soup. All of the employees were very pleasant. One star taken off for drink selection. I understand that a license for beer might be too complicated , but it's too bad they don't have aquas frescas. read more

I had the birria tacos and the beef quesadilla. Nice flavors, full chilled salsa bar. Tacos had plenty of meat and came with a cup of consume for dipping. The quesadilla was a thick soft hand made flour tortilla that had some nice color. Just like it cane off a comal. Really tasty. Also they got misters outside going while you eat read more

Omg this place is amazing!! After trying several taco places out here in Albuquerque, and there are some good ones for sure, we tried this place when we were in Los Lunas and it was so incredible we decided to go with them for our wedding food, an easy choice!! Every time we go to Los Lunas, we stop in for tacos. We absolutely LOVE this place! They have one of the best, if not the best, tacos I've ever had, and I've tried many tacos. I'd say between my fiancé and I, we are foodies with great pallets. They don't skimp on the meat, and you can get full with 2-3 tacos depending on how hungry you are, and the salsas and service are top-notch. I'd recommend the quesabirria and al pastor tacos and look forward to trying more of what they have to offer. It's a great family owned business. The husband, wife, and daughter whom I've had a chance to interact with are all super nice. We will be coming back every chance we get! read more

The young female at the counter asked me if I wanted to add a tip, which I put I didn't, since I was going to give cash. The food is incredible. You can truly tell it's high quality food . My favorite dish is the Birra tacos with flour tortillas. I found out recently that the flour tortillas are handmade! The service is very helpful and friendly. I love family owned businesses ! The atmosphere is very nice. It's really a to grab and go. But it's nice to sit in and chit chat with the owners if they're not busy! The food doesn't take normally than 20 mins to get depending on what you get.
