Zero star. Im sorry I understand security is an outside contractor but I am a hotel guest and I…read morepayed the hotel and parking and I need to go in and out of the hotel. FYI, I am a a Hilton diamond member since 2013 and never experienced such a bad customer service anywhere. I'm stocked in this hotel because of business guidelines and policies. I am writing this review since I felt disrespected and humiliated and now harassed. This main issue is main parking gate key doesn't open the gate in the evenings. It works fine in the morning and doesn't work in the evening. It is interesting it shows my room number in the screen as it shows in the morning but gate doesn't open. I reported this to the front dest and replaced the key 4 times. The gate doesn't open and there are cars behind. The only option is to hit the horn which the big problem happens. Security comes and shows attitude like it's my fault it doesn't work. I asked the security if he can help which I got more attitude. He has to use his fob key to open the gate. This story is ongoing every single day I go out. No issue when ai get inside. It gets worse with more attitude and I call it now harassment. I blame hotel management for hiring contractors with obvious lack of trainings of hospitality, skillsets and respect at their front line for their hotel. Is it really happening in the US in 2025? Anything I need to do to go in and out of hotel without receiving attitude? Is there anything I am doing wrong? I look forward for comments.

This hotel has an attached casino and it is very large with tables and digital machines. You have choices of cabana rooms or rooms overlooking the ocean. I chose the ocean view with patio. The room was very large and the bed and pillows were comfy. I really like the pillows not too fluffy, soft, or hard. The housekeepers were the best given how large the room was and how they have to deal with sand tracked into the room. They mopped everyday and ensured the tile was spotless. I also chose to use points to get the breakfast every morning and I am glad I did that breakfast if bought separate would run $40 a day, but with the selection you had would still be worth it. Everything was fresh and so good. I fell for the Puerto Rican Farina type cream of wheat and the corn type cream of wheat. I also enjoyed how the hotel had designated employees who would carry your beach chair to a spot and dig an umbrella into sand for you at no charge. If you have a rental car the hotel has covered parking and the hotel covers the parking fee included in price of room. There is a gem outside the hotel and that's the hotel gelato bar. This is the best gelato I have ever tasted. The raspberry and lemon combination I picked was heavenly. The lemon hit your taste bud joyfully and I wanted more! I could go on about the hotel but I hope the pictures capture the rest. This is a good vacation hotel to pick.

After spending the first half of the trip hiking and venturing out in San Juan, it was nice to go to a more remote part of the island and relax. Plus, free happy hours and breakfast...what more do you need?! I'll start with the amenities. The three levels of pools made the area feel bigger than it was. There were conventions going on while we stayed, so it was crowded, but we managed to find chairs both days. The best part was the easy access to a private beach. Plenty of seating and space for couple and families to spread out. The water is also incredible! But I recommend wearing some sort of water shoes due to seaweed and some rocks depending on where you wander. The food and service went beyond my expectations. To accommodate my wife's gluten allergy, the server at the poolside restaurant managed to secure us *baked French fries, which no one had ever done for her before. That was amazing. The burger I had at the indoor restaurant was also very good. The prices for those meals were pretty inexpensive for a hotel. As for the free items, the happy hours were pleasant. Not the biggest *wow factors, but still...it's free. The breakfasts are well worth waking up for, and as other reviewers pointed out, Jorge's omelettes were supreme. If you're a millennial like myself, stepping into this Embassy Suites is jumping back things I found fascinating as a child. There's a koi pond! And the glass indoor elevators still amaze me. Yes...the carpets and some aesthetics feel outdated. The bedroom carpets felt out of place and old, and should be removed for tile at some point. But if the 2005 vibe is the reason we could afford staying here, I'll take it! As an added bonus, across the parking lot, there are other restaurants, a bowling alley, driving range, and go carts! There's also a casino with live poker and roulette if you're feeling lucky. This resort truly has something for everyone. Make sure to order a piña colada and soak in the good vibes.

I would give this place a negative 10 for its horrible hospitality.

They recommended so many amazing places to eat and shop, in and out of the property. The prices for food on the property were reasonable and there were a lot of different options for food choices. The big Concha restaurant on the property is absolutely gorgeous at night but it is a bit pricier than the other food options on the property. There are 4 pool ameneties you can choose from, with one being adults only. I loved that you have the different pool options. However, I wish the pools were bigger. I felt like it made more sense to have fewer pools but, bigger to fit more people but, we were comfortable in each. The first night I heard what I assumed was a curated "rainforest soundtrack" through speakers. It's not. Those are actual local frogs, and that small detail somehow sets the tone for the whole experience: it feels real, private, and almost unreal at the same time. The room is massive and thoughtfully designed. The outdoor shower is a standout, and the big tub makes it feel like you have your own spa built in. I didn't have a private pool since I'm on the second floor, but the view is so beautiful I stopped caring pretty quickly. What impressed me most was how effortless everything felt. Having an Embajador team plus a driver/golf cart makes the resort feel easy to navigate, and they're quick to respond when you need anything. The pool is stunning and spacious, and the overall vibe is quiet, calm, and never chaotic. The only thing I wouldn't hype is room service. It was underwhelming for the price, especially the lobster. If you're deciding where to eat, go to Positivo near the concierge instead, it was noticeably better. Even when the weather turned intense, it didn't take away from the stay. If anything, it made the resort feel even more cozy and cinematic. Add in the humidity controls in the room (so underrated), and it's one of those places you leave already planning how to come back.

As with all resorts there is a daily resort fee. I don't get it since you're paying a daily rate to stay there, so why an additional fee on top of it. I pay it anyway. Plus, parking is self parking and it's free. So why four stars? Unit entry is from the exterior. Exterior and corridors felt a little dirty. Maybe just me. So would I stay here again. There's is a $50 per person spend minimum at the little bar area with TVs which is fine. However, the service is very poor. The servers don't really regularly come back to check if you need another drink even though it's really obvious you literally have to order another drink because you have to spend $50 each. There seems to be some problems with the inner dynamics of the team because there was bickering amongst them in terms of who did what tasks, took orders, made drinks, brought food, brought drinks, collected tips, etc. It wouldn't really be a big deal but then it kind of awkwardly impacts us / the customer when there is no attention from the staff. Additionally, they have a huge TV, but it is really warped / stretched longwise so even though it's big the proportions are really off.

Three-star quality at five-star prices…read more Be sure to read the fine print when making a reservation. This hotel runs a "20% hotel tariff" scam that gets tacked onto the bill. The only logical explanation is that this policy makes the room prices appear to cost about $200 a night less than the real charges. Otherwise, why not just raise the advertised price by 20%? There is no doubt the property is in a gorgeous location, sitting directly on the ocean. The buildings are in good condition and the staff is courteous. But, I experienced several shortfalls compared to my expectations for this price point. The suites are provided a "butler," but the available hours are 10am to 6pm. The service would be more accurately described as a concierge. Bringing coffee in the morning is not on the list of duties, nor assisting with unpacking or packing or other typical butler activities. Sending out laundry the day before my departure, I asked to have it folded so it would be easier to pack. Everything came back on hangers. My room did not receive turn-down service and fresh towels during the third night of my stay. I asked to have a car booked to the airport from the hotel. The butler got it backwards and booked it from the airport to the hotel. Good thing that I took a close look at the confirmation and noticed the routing was backwards. The breakfast restaurant, Ola, is extremely crowded in the morning with a 30 to 60 minute wait being typical in my experience. The front of the property is in a skeevy neighborhood so walking somewhere else for breakfast isn't a realistic option. It's not bad, but also not a top tier. property.
