Three of the four of us purchased sewing machines and all of us purchased fabric. We were greeted as we came in and asked if there was anything they could help us with. Their Customer Service and Sales department was great. You bet we will go back if we're ever back in Vegas.

If you expect to shop for your fabric like you are in a Walmart or Michaels then it is fine. They have products you can buy and the prices are just a smidge over MSRP. Sadly, that is not why many of us go to quilt shops. Quilting and art is foundationally built on community. This shop is cold, no one talks to you, or offers to help. I am the daughter of a quilt shop owner. I help out when I can and we greet every customer and offer to help with color matching or a second opinion if the customer would like. There was none of that. In fact, I was matching colors to a picture for a project in view of the people standing at the cutting table with not a word. I also went to ask if they had more greens because they were pulling online orders and they snapped at me. When I showed her I could see they had some she went oh I didn't know they were pulling orders. So, it is cold and not helpful. I will also say I overheard someone with I am assuming a new employee as she was showing her where things are in the store. Then she said yeah I don't work here, I am just here a lot. I was baffled why she was being nicer than the 3 people standing at the cutting table. Overall I almost walked out, but I did find some good deals. I don't know, I have heard that LQS can be unfriendly and ignore particularly younger sewists and I was confused. I now know what that is like. And I feel sad that this store has their platform to bring in new sewists and then disappoint and discourage them from being involved in the community. Edit: side note, order a little extra fabric as they cut right on the line and sometimes the cut is uneven. Very similar to Joann cutting .

This location is somewhat picked over sometimes/low on seasonal things when compared to the Summerlin location in town. Service is friendly enough, and is hit or miss depending on the worker(s). There are plenty of self checkout stations too. They are often running a sale so if you shop for what's on sale you'll get a good value.

While Doc was pushing me through the aisles, I was happily adding things to the cart. I'd point and she would retrieve the items for me one by one. Xmas items were 70% off but amazingly hubs didn't select anything. Valentines decor was 40% off- couldn't resist. My favorite aisles are the scrapbooking tools, acrylic and wooden rubber stamps, stickers and bling. When we rang up there were self scan check out yourself stations. My haul came out to $185- didn't realize it would cost that much... Oh my, oh joy... indulgence can be a good thing in moderation.

Whatever your looking this place surely fits the bill. Unlike Spirit Halloween - you can actually try things on! I found the lowest price-point costume here was a higher quality version and the same or LESS price than Spirit Halloween. Better costume - better price. If you are looking for real SFX make-up this is your place. They have it all. Not the cheap smearing and expensive stuff sold at basic Halloween stores. I was going to purchase my SFX makeup on Amazon but decided to direct buy here. The price on makeup was about the same as Amazon. Maybe a few bucks more or less depending on the item. Either way, to get it same day and from a local small business was a win to me. The best part was the costumer experience. The lady that helped me was more than accommodating and SO helpful. I needed the Dark Knight Joker costume for my 8YO daughter who wears a small in woman's and couldn't find it anywhere. All I could find is really super cheap versions and I really wanted the Velvet real jacket look. Also, I didn't want the sexy-girl version but rather the traditional men's but in woman's sizing. That's a laundry list of wants- I couldn't even find it on Amazon. Well, the stars must have aligned because they had it. The men's traditional, velvet, real, high end Joker but in a woman's size Small! Now that I know this place exists, I will never enter another Spirit Halloween again. The mayhem, expensive costumes for low quality, and couple that with the lack of being able to try things on.
