After shopping around we chose Affordable Flooring. No regrets. Their product isn't the most cost effective. But you get what you pay for. Very accommodating and easy to work with in their local showroom, local being a key selling point. The installers they use as independent contractors are top notch. We had a young couple who knew what they were doing for the three days of demolition of old carpet to installation of laminate wood flooring. Meticulous in their workmanship and took care with moving furniture and keeping things clean. We will be back for future flooring needs. read more

My contractor kept falling through, so I spent 2 days calling around trying to get an estimate as soon as possible. I called this place, and they sent Mike out the same day. Wanted to replace my entire upstairs and staircase from carpet to LVP. Affordable Flooring (AF) was quick to come out (Steve) for a quote and provided some samples of flooring with them. Steve wasn't pushy for a sale and gave my financing options including opening a credit account for any amount I chose (full, partial, half, etc) at 0% interest for 12 months. Financing and payment was seamless and Steve made it effortless. I initially picked out a color that he brought with him but changed my mind the next day and went to their showroom to look around at more options. The saleswomen helped me pick out a couple of samples based on my preferences (existing grey tile downstairs that would meet the landing of the staircase and no grooves in the LVP). They allow customers to take these samples home to really get a good look at how it might look once the new flooring is installed. I pondered over these colors about a week, then took them back and picked out 2 new samples to think about. I finally made my choice and scheduled my installation. The scheduler meet my work schedule needs and was very flexible. The installation manager came out for a walk through and made note of any specifics and unique difficulties that might arise based on existing installed furniture. He also answers all questions I had. Installation was done about a month later based on my work schedule needs and the installation crew was amazing. The only thing that I mentioned to the company was cleanup. I did find nails and screws in random places outside and existing materials that weren't picked up. Other than that, I was thoroughly impressed and satisfied with the craftsmanship and quality. After installation, the installation manager came out again to survey the job and address any concerns I had about if anything was missed or not and my level of satisfaction. The LVP (Luxury Vinyl Plank) flooring in BRYNWOOD in my main bedroom suite, Den, Office and guest room, turned out GREAT! Gustavo and his co-worker from Affordable Flooring exceeded my expectations. They were in my home for four days and worked their butts off! It was loud at times removing the tile in the bathroom and grinding the concrete, but they tried to limit the noise. I left them alone in my home for hours at a time with no issues. They were efficient, courteous, very clean and responsive to any questions I asked or requests I made. We used Affordable Flooring & More earlier this year and they were fantastic. From customer service to install, we were very happy with the entire process. We recarpeted our upstairs. They let us bring samples back and forth and did not rush us as we made a selection. We narrowed it down to a few options. When they came out for measurement and to see which option we picked, he sat us down and explained the the option I chose (the most expensive of our choices) might not be the best option because we have cats. He showed us how their claws could snag the loops. He recommended one of our other choices that happened to be the least expensive. We appreciated this because so many contractors seem to try to upsell and don't care about the final product or customer satisfaction. The install guys were quick and did a phenomenal job. One of the guys walked around with us at the end and he was all smiles, clearly proud of the work and our reaction (our old carpet was super old so it was a big deal). This is our 4th time using Affordable Flooring since 2017 and now our entire house has been completed. This last project was the main hallway, kitchen, pantry and guest bathroom. From Mike that provided the estimate to Tiffany and Mia in the office, all very professional and accommodating. As in the past Eddie was superb to work with and his crew, Omar, Juan, Nester and Elvia did a fabulous job. Always arrived on time, respectful of property and cleaned up every night leaving things neat and clean as possible considering the ceramic dust however they did cover all furniture, wall hangings and entire kitchen with plastic. Upon completion a final cleanup of everything under the plastic was dusted and made it easier to place everything back in its place. We love the new porcelain floor! During the process of building our new home, we decided to stop by Affordable Flooring to see if they had better options to offer than our builder, and they most certainly did. On our first visit we met Gomez who was super patient, kind, and accommodating and put zero pressure on us to make any decisions. On subsequent visits to the store, Frank also helped us and he was equally as wonderful and kind as Gomez. They let us take several samples to our home to make sure we liked them in our light and space. We closed on our home and chose a luxury vinyl floor that we loved. On the first day of installation Eddie from the south office came to our home with the installers and explained the process, how long the job would take, and advised us to contact him should we have any issues during installation. The gentlemen who completed the installation showed up on or before time every day, and worked long days to make sure the job was completed on time. They were kind and very respectful of our home. The work they did was extremely clean and thorough. These gentlemen take extreme pride in their work, pay attention to detail, and our new floors and baseboards look AMAZING! I had such a great experience with Affordable Flooring & More. I started my floor search at Home Depot. The quote they gave me was okay in price, but they don't paint your baseboards. That's a dealbreaker for me. I got a couple of other quotes from other companies, but Affordable Flooring gave me the best price and value. The flooring they carry is much better quality than the big box stores. Frank in the showroom is great. Very knowledgeable and explained the differences in the flooring without pressuring you into them. I gave him an idea of what I was looking for, and he brought out multiple samples for me to take a look at. We chose out some beautiful vinyl planks for our home. Gomez came out the next day, and did a free measure, which was very quick and easy. The installers Jorge and Manuel were on time and very professional during the whole install. Jorge really went above and beyond to take care of us. During our initial walk-through when he first arrived we hadn't included the closets in our hallway in the quote, and he explained that it would be nicer and cleaner to install the vinyl in the closets as well. He had enough material left over at the end, and went ahead and installed the vinyl in two hallways closets for us. I can't say enough nice things about these guys. Living room carpet was destroyed from dog pee. Called affordable flooring and they were able to replace and install a brand new piece of carpet in just a couple of days. I was moving into a new place and the flooring was all mismatched, old, and beaten. I looked all over the place looking for a place that could do it soon and they were able to do it within a month so that was a plus because I really didn't want to move in and then get it done. I flew in from Utah and went to the store to view all of my options. I knew right away that I wanted something dark. The sales men let me know it would show everything, especially here in Nevada because of all the sand. I appreciated his input and considered it, but still wanted dark and he wasn't pushy about trying to change my mind. (One thing I hate is pushy sales people)! We finally picked one and some new carpet for upstairs. We placed an order in and then I was going back home to Utah. Unfortunately, right before boarding I got a call saying somewhere along the line of checking stock at the store and when the order processed, it was no longer available in the quantity I would need. I panicked a bit but my mother-in-law had the ability to go back to the store for me since she's a resident here. He helped her pick dark flooring again and they sent me some pictures and I remembered another one I liked after they sent me a few. We put that order in and everything is perfect after that. I do not blame the store for this issue at all btw. Things happen, the world is crazy right now, and I know so many things are in high demand/backordered. Installation day was approaching, they called and let me know exactly what time to be there to let them in. Everyone arrived on time, they were all kind, the job was completed on the day they said it would be, and the flooring looked great. It's been about 2 months since it was completed and everything is holding up well so far. There are some spots where I've noticed that the vinyl doesn't seem to be as smooth and could have been closer to the next plank though. I'm a tad worried about those areas being an issue in the future. The carpet areas are all well done and there aren't any wavy weird areas like I've seen at other places who installed. They also installed new baseboards throughout the entire house and overall I'm happy with that as well. The price for what I picked and installation was around 17k for a 2,000k sq ft home. I feel like that's pretty steep, but I'm happy with their work so I'm okay with it. They ripped out all the old stuff too so that factored in the price too. read more

I brought up every single concern to affordable flooring privately that I've written here, but they chose to dismiss my concerns, only addressing them here on this public forum. Imagine yourself a dissatisfied customer whose concerns are met with Michael's response. Yikes! I'd look elsewhere Pros: 1. We like the color of the floor. We chose them. 2. The installers were kind. Cons AKA everything else: 1. The supervisor came on the morning of day one, mentioned that because our current flooring is taller than our chosen flooring, that we'd have a gap between our doorframe and the floor. Asked if I wanted to drop the frames, for an extra fee of course. We opted out. Supervisor said that's no problem and would have his guys fill the space with caulking. He also mentioned that they'd keep the dust to a minimum, but recommended a light wipe down of surfaces after job completion. This ended up being the understatement of the year. 2. The installers didn't speak English. It was really difficult to communicate our needs. 3. HOLY DUST! If you use these guys, I would advise you to clear out EVERYTHING from the home and put it in storage far away from the job site. No, seriously! Because even your belongings upstairs, in another room, inside cabinets and drawers, will be covered in dust. This is not an exaggeration. They covered cabinets, drawers, and countertops in the kitchen with plastic, but again, dust found it's way inside and on all of those places. They covered pantry items with plastic, again, DUST. Preparation is so important in a job like this. I feel if they would have taken their time with the plastic, created a nice seal with tape, this would have been a different story. I spent the next two full days, post completion, dealing with dust. I had to wash all silverware, plates, cups, bowls, cookware, measuring cups. I had to wipe down the inside of every cabinet and drawer. Every single thing inside the pantry needed to be taken down and wiped. Countertops, windows, blinds, fan, walls, floors, shower, toilet, doors, all of these things were covered with dust. 4. Some of the planks are cut very short which isn't aesthetically appealing. 5. We hear a snap, crackle, and pop in the floors every single time we walk on them. 6. The caulking job around the doorframes is absolutely horrendous. This shouldn't even be an option. They should require that every customer drop their doorframe(s) because this caulking job throws off the entire look of the job. You can't even enjoy your floors because you have these huge eyesores at every doorway. 7. After the job was completed, I took a closer look at my particular floors warranty information. The warranty states that warranty would be void if the floor isn't installed per their instructions. Their instructions state that each plank should be a minimum of 8" long. There are numerous planks much shorter than 8", some as short as 2 1/2". Concerned, I emailed the sales rep from this company, cited the information, and asked that he give me a call. When he called he couldn't even be bothered to address me by the correct name. Then proceed to tell me that he talked to the owner of the company and the flooring manufacturer who assured him that the warranty is still valid even though they didn't follow directions because they aren't "DIYers". When I asked him to type out everything he said to me and send it in an email, his entire tone changed. He became defensive and condescending which set off some real red flags for me. I decided to call the manufacturers corporate office myself. I spoke with the manager who told me that it doesn't matter if the flooring was installed by a homeowner or a professional company, the warranty expectations apply to everyone. So here we are, thinking we'd hire a professional to get the job done correctly, and now our warranty is void because they couldn't be bothered to follow manufacture instructions. Spent thousands and thousands of dollars for what? A dust filled house and a void warranty? I'm giving two stars because we like to color of the floors that we chose and because the installers worked hard and were friendly. All in all, I'd avoid this place if I were you. So many other options. Crazy part is we received quotes from two other companies who came in under what Affordable Flooring was charging. My husband wanted to go with one of the cheaper options (cheaper by $1,500), but I just loved the reviews of Affordable Flooring and was confident they'd produce quality work and top notch customer service. Boy, was I wrong! Next time I'll listen to my husband. read more

Our home was built in 2015. We contacted Affordable Flooring to see if they could locate the same tile used throughout our home as a replacement for the existing carpet in our home office. The staff at Affordable did the research for us, and they were able to locate tile that replicated the tile installed in our home nearly 9 years ago. Although this was not a large job, the work area was kept clean, and the worker cleaned up every afternoon, ensuring his tools, the tile, and the baseboard materials were neatly stacked in our garage. TL:DR - Affordable Flooring did an excellent job in installing our flooring. Very prompt and personable experience. Treats you like your the most important job they have. We moved from California and decided one of the first steps we should do on our first home is to install Vinyl plank in our outdated home. First and foremost, I tried shopping around for flooring contractors and I've even tried to send emails and my call back number for the "other guys" to give me a call. That call never came. I had to call the "other guys" and they gave me attitude over the phone. I was feeling a bit defeated and posted on Reddit asking who they'd recommend. Within 5 minutes someone responded Affordable Flooring With affordable flooring, I asked for a callback via email and within the same afternoon Tiffany called me back. Tiffany took her time answering my questions and even giving me a rough quote on how to calculate an expected cost. Because she was personable and gave me the time of day, that was my first step into moving forward hiring Affordable flooring. We went ahead and scheduled for an at home quote with tiffany on this first phone call. When I came back into Vegas, we decided to stop in a day before the home quote and we were greeted by Frank. Franks a good guy, personable, and gives you a straight answer no BS. He walked the wife through all the options of flooring. We had a specific color in mind but Frank actually suggested something lower in pricing without compromising quality. Frank made the decision pretty easy. The following day Mike came to our home to measure our space. He worked very fast, but also gave us some tips on what to choose for baseboards and what to expect out of the job. Mike also took the time to give us some pointers on being new vegas residents. The last person I worked with from the AF team was Eddie. Since I was out of town while the flooring was in place, Eddie gave me a play by play on the progress of our floors. He made us feel at ease with the job that he was completing for us. When the job was complete 2 days later we came Home. Honestly... we were floored. They did an excellent job, they also cleaned up after themselves. This is absolutely the first place you should look for flooring. It will almost definately be where you purchase from as well. The selections to choose from are ample, there is zero sales pressure, and one hundred percent personalized assistance. I went to this store based on the multiple 5 star reviews for the Polaris location. Going in I had a rough idea of what I was looking for. To help narrow it down, Gomez, who was outstanding, pulled multiple samples to place next to a tile I brought in that will be touching the new flooring, which is replacing carpet. He was patient and very helpful. I have never purchased flooring because my previous home was new construction and I selected from their offerings. I needed a full education in what's available and the various attributes of each. Gomez answered all my questions regarding products and installation, bringing up several things I would not even consider. (For example, dark shiny tiles show dust and dirt more so than other options. Dogs nails may make a clicking sound on a floating floor, etc.). Gomez worked with me for over two hours. I accidentally stayed past closing and he never said a word, looked at the time or do anything to make me feel that I should leave You will not receive the personalized, no pressure assistance you'll get at AFFORDABLE anywhere else. The northwest has a new, excellent business to go to for flooring.
