I've been going to Dr Franco since 2003, she actually reconstructed my entire smile. I have crowns, implants, root canals, etc. I come from a long line of tooth problems (mom, dad, etc). Needless to say I've been to a lot of dentist! I will never forget the first day after all the xrays were taken, she said "let me study your case, I'll call you". When she called, she had design my whole mouth including a changed bite and to my surprise; it was less than half the price that two other dentists had estimated! Right now Dr. Franco is my family dentist. I can easily say, Dr Franco change my life, gave me confidence, and I'm not afraid of smiling any more. I visited her office around 13 years ago for a routine preventive care appointment with no complaints. They claimed to have found about nine cavities. They started with three fillings, but the procedure was very unprofessional. They drilled large holes in my molars, causing sensitivity in that area and making it difficult for me to properly chew with those molars. I decided not to continue treatment with them and went to another professional, who, upon review, did not find the additional six cavities they had claimed to see on my X-rays. 13 years later, I am still dealing with the consequences of the poor work they did. read more

I am extremely impressed by this dental office. I was not even sure what insurance I had since my card had been lost. I wasn't sure if it was one of two that I thought it might be. The receptionist went over and above by calling the insurance companies to find out which insurance company I'd be long too. She confirmed all of my information over the phone. I made an appointment for 4 p.m. and walked in at about 3 30. I waited maybe 5 minutes filled out my paperwork and was escorted right in where I immediately received my cleaning. I've been to this office a few times now over the last year or so and I've really enjoyed all of my visits. The staff are very friendly and the hygienists and Dr. Franco are very good with educating. I've asked them a million questions mostly from curiosity and they've each taken the time to explain and help me understand, which I really appreciate. Not many doctors take the time to do that. They help you understand WHY you need to floss every day and don't just tell you and leave it at that. It is in the middle of Miami so it helps to know some Spanish but non-Spanish speakers should be just fine. Overall very pleasant experience, and I'll continue coming here for sure. read more

I have delta dental PPO plan, which is covered at 100% for regular cleanings. The dentist that I went to is listed as an in network provider on the delta dental website, however when I went into the office, the receptionist attempted to bill me for a $70 coinsurance. After asking why I was billed for out of network, the receptionist then told me that it's because the dentist acquired 8 additional years of schooling (although she is just a general dentist and Dental school is only 4 years to become a general dentist). She then told me that she wouldn't trust the other in network dentists listed on the delta dental website because they weren't "really licensed". Last time I checked, in order to practice dentistry any where in the USA, you have to be licensed. In the end, I ended up calling the insurance company while in office, and it was confirmed that I didn't owe a copay or coinsurance. While on the phone with the insurance company, the receptionist told me to beware because "insurance companies were known to lie...." The hygienist seemed to do an ok job with cleaning my teeth, but after the receptionist tried to scam me, I do not trust any of the staff there. I ended up leaving, without having to pay any additional fees, but that was before they tried to charge me for $20 mouthwash. By this point I was losing patience quickly. I won't be returning. I thought it was truly annoying and disrespectful since we are paying for service and personal treatment. Got a cleaning after about 4 years of ignoring my teeth and health. I was absoultely taken away by first the receptionist , then the hygenist , then the 2nd hygenist , and although the dentist just came in briefly I was impressed with her. All in all amazing service. No 5 stars because I got really really sick (possibly from dirt from teeth getting in throat) but after a couple days close to death I called and they prescribed me antibiotics immediately so I could feel better. Since day one, I've had an amazing entrance. The staff are all kind and accommodate you if your primary language is not Spanish. They are such a cute bunch of female troopers! Dr. Haas should be ashamed. He passed along his practice to a total bunch of typical Miami incompetent fakers. Dr. Elba Franco exudes insincerity. Her hygienist no speaky engrish good and her cheesy interior design is just as cheesy as they way she tries to upsell you on unnecessary services and conditions. I have grown up with amazing teeth- never had 1 cavity- no braces. So to be told that all of a sudden I need braces and teeth whitening and an electric toothbrush in one visit- was well, a total joke- and turn off. I walked out that office after turning down all of her 'professional' recommendations amazed at how foolish she is to think that people are that F-ing stupid to buy her ridiculous b-sh-t. I am only speak for myself, but this place was horrible! I went for a deep cleaning and the guy dentist ( can't remember the name but he is still there) numbed my tongue !!! I am a speech language pathologist and I speak all day long! I had a horrible lisp for 3 months because my tongue and half my face was numb!!! It interfered with my job! On top of that, I had to go back for the second half of the cleaning and after I SPECIFICALLY told them I didn't want him working on me, I was placed on his schedule!! Been to this Dentist once before and never had a problem. Over all the service is good, staff is very nice and the place is clean. This second time around I was scheduled for a cleaning and two cavity fillings. The cleaning went great, but it wasn't until the two fillings were completed that I was surprised to see the skin on the edge of my mouth burned off. I was really upset and annoyed. I didn't feel much during the procedure because most of my face was numbed with anesthesia prior, except for a slight burning sensation I figured might have been part of the process, so I didn't say anything. I also think, most people try not to yelp in pain when a dentist has a drilling utensil inside your mouth. Elba and her tech said it could have been an allergy to the suction tube,or acid from the cavity filling process. She didn't apologize but refunded my money back after I demanded it. I'm not saying accidents like these cannot happen, I'm sure they are common but I'd rather go to a dentist that will be more careful with how they handle their abrasives,or at least has technicians who can. Note* I am not and have never been allergic to any rubber or any kind of plastic like on the suction tube. So this experience was really bad and painful. Will add pictures. STAY AWAY!!! This lady is clueless when it comes to dentistry. Her staff is clueless when it comes to even confirming an appt. They were extremely irresponsible when servicing me even after confirming my appt when I showed up they told me my crown was not ready!! Once it WAS ready and she put it in place, the piece fell off within 4 days!! went back got it glued back in and again the piece fell off within 2 week period. SAVE YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY GO ELSEWHERE!! It's no wonder she is practicing in Little Havana where she can take advantage of low income families and elderly people. I scheduled a cleaning through Zocdoc. I arrived 5 minutes before my appointment time and gave the man at the desk my insurance card and ID. He seemed confused like he couldn't find my name, but then handed me routine paperwork to fill out. I have new dental insurance so immediately asked if they accepted my insurance. He kind of ignored that the first time and had me fill out the paperwork, and then I asked him to check the insurance again. He called my insurance company ON SPEAKER phone. There were other people in the office and I was unsettled by this but didn't say anything. After about 20 minutes, he told me my insurance wasn't accepted but he felt bad I was waiting and could offer me the $69 cleaning special. During this time he also made small talk about yoga (I had my mat) and about how the office computers weren't working great and it's been very busy. He was very nice. He then told me he could see what he could do (I thought he meant lower the price). Five minutes later, he came to me and said "you never had an appointment and the next person is coming in." WHAT? I looked at him like he was nuts. He then said, "remember I was telling you our computers were down and we didn't have your appointment from zocdoc." .. I didn't recall this. Five minutes before he was trying to offer me a deal to still have the cleaning despite them not offering my insurance. I told him it was unfair and if I didn't have an appointment, and why didn't he say that in the first place, 30 minutes ago instead of checking my insurance and having me fill out paperwork. A few minutes later, they could suddenly fit me in again. I decided to leave because who knows what kind of rushed teeth cleaning I would have had. The guy at the front was nice but jeez... what a waste of time. They need to be more organized or at least more upfront with patients. read more

Really great service! The entire staff is friendly, I had alot of dental work that needed to be done I had to visit Dr. Franco around 6 to 8 times. This is due to me failing to see a dentist for over 5 years. Each time I went I was always greeted with a smile felt welcomed. Amazing!!! I actually look forward to going to the dentist. Kimberly, the receptionist, has enough personality to power all the drills in the whole office. She is efficient and lovely, what a combination. Ariam, my hygenist, is an actual dentist who is awaiting his American Certification. Imagine getting your teeth cleaned by the dentist?
