I ordered the vegan French toast and a side of bacon. Having a severe egg allergy makes breakfast choices out limited. The cinnamon on the French toast gave it the right crisp plus the maple syrup was spot on for my taste buds. The bacon is thin strips which aren't my thing I prefer thick cut bacon. It has a few counter seats and then as many tables as can be put inside for seating. Turnover of tables was quick. Many people came and went. I enjoyed my hot tea and read while I ate.

So cool inside with crazy toasters on the walls. Also seating outside. Service was great and with a smile. I had the Animas breakfast which was bacon and eggs with 2 delicious potato cakes and wheat toast. Very good. Coffee good. The wife had corn beef hash with 2 over easy eggs on top. She loved. I knew it as soon as I read their menu. She likes different stuff. They also make breakfast drinks but alas, we had to drive 3 hours back to Creede so had to pass. Someone got a burger for lunch that looked good but was huge.

The vibe is cozy and warm especially on an overcast day like today. We had somewhere to be but I could have hung out there for a while. The place was busy but service was fast and we got to chat with the lovely barista Andrew, who made our drinks while giving us hot tips on music stores he loves. Give the man a raise! Will be back!

We loved it way better than the bacon. Definitely try the spam. I gave 3 stars because I searched for the place in Yelp and looked at the menu prior to arriving. The menu doesn't come close to what's shown in other reviews. I really wanted the turkey panini, but as stated in other reviews, they were out of the ingredients to make it. They open at 8 am and we arrived around 9:30 am. So I ordered the BLAT. We paid. While we were waiting he came over to tell me they can't make the BLAT because they don't have the ingredients. Like what a bummer. So I got the bacon burrito. I did order a classic and guess it got mixed up because it was the basic. It was really nice of him to throw in a free burrito, for all the inconveniences. The coffee....... Ehhhh I'd give the coffee 1 star. Got a cold brew and a latte and both seemed very watered down.

Lots of restaurants say they provide a welcoming atmosphere, but Patria is the first place I've…read moregenuinely felt as though I was being greeted as an old friend when walking in. Owner Matt and his wife Tasha could not have been more welcoming, in a "friend, we're so glad to see you again" way (despite having never met us before), and not a creepy, cloying way at all. My husband and I went twice in three days for breakfast and had great food and wonderful service both times. The food was cooked to order. The wait wasn't long at all. We love their selection of teas and heartily recommend the Tropical Green tea and the Passionfruit tea. I like a standard breakfast, and their Patria Plus Breakfast of two outstandingly delicious sweet cream pancakes, perfectly cooked bacon, scrambled eggs, and well-seasoned house potatoes was a winner. Their Biscuits and Gravy is huge and filling. We absolutely needed a box for leftovers with that one. The candied bacon, made presumably with a homemade sweet chili sauce, was sinfully delectable and addictive. The Croissant Smashburger with added avocado hit the spot. I highly recommend Patria as a place to try when you are visiting Pagosa Springs. We are new to the community and are thrilled to find a quality eating destination for us.

I very much enjoyed the cinnamon crunch French toast. The combination between the French toast with cinnamon crunch pieces, strawberries, whip cream and syrup - amazing! Finished with a side of sausage (for protein), which was also excellent. Very friendly ambiance, great energy amongst all the guest.
