Great taste, unclear, terrible policies, BS cancellation/refund/skip service policy. When you skip a delivery, they do not not credit your account--you ahve to let them know via a call (not on website) that you want a credit. After 6 years and skipping multiple times, I had originally been told that when I cancelled I would recive my credits back. But nope! They just keep the money withut delivering any product. Great water, mediocre flexibility, few (no?) refund options. I have had an order of (10) five gallons a month for a few months now, and this is my second time with Eldorado service. Up until now we've been a house of four, but due to unforeseen circumstances two of my roommates have to move out. I made two mistakes that are going to cost me, because there are no refund/return options. One, I forgot to lower my order count from 10 to 5. Second - and why this matters - I had my pickup day wrong. I thought it was next Friday and it was this Friday. So now I have 10 empty 5gal jugs, 10 full ones, and have to pay a delivery fee ($6.50 at time of review) to have them picked up. On the pickup day there is NO option for a refund on the 5 full jugs I will be unable to drink. Sadly, I am not a camel. Lastly, I would drive these jugs to a dropoff in the back of my car if it meant no jug fee ($80, refundable) and no charge for the 5 ($50 unrefundable!) extra jugs I have. Customer service was useful, but curt. I don't feel like they were truly trying to solve my problems in a way that helped both of us. I recommend their water, but hope they figure out better options for when stuff goes wrong. Also, make sure you put as many dates in your calendar as you can when you start service. We encountered an Eldorado rep (Kelly) last year at the South Pearl St Farmer's market in Denver, and we tried it out and have been happy with our monthly service ever since. It's convenient to have the hot/cold dispenser right at home. I really think it's encouraged our family to drink more water. All the pickups/dropoffs have gone perfectly, and you're able to adjust the # of jugs online beforehand if you need to change the delivery. I am sick of having issue with this business. But the product is great so we stay with them. the latest issue is that I skipped the delivery in June and I was still charged the same as our regular monthly bill (4 bottles). I was told I could get 4 bottles within 60 days. So I reduced the monthly delivery to 3 bottles, and confirmed with Karime that we would get 3+2=5 in July and August. So now my standing order was set to 3 bottles beginning in July, July delivery was issueless - we got 5. The came the August delivery. We got 4. The nice delivery man said that the instruction was to deliver "4 bottles all the time." My husband explained that we should get 3 + 2 for August, explaining the 4 bottles we had paid in June. The delivery man said that he understood and left 5 bottles, warning him that we would br charged for that additional 1 bottle. So I got back to Karime, no reply. I emailed again and added the general email address. Nothing. I just do not understand why this business could survive except for the fact that they basically have the monopoly. Where does this "always leave 4" came from when our contract was set to 3 in July. Where are 2 remaining bottles that we paid for back in June. And will they charge us 1 bottle? When I called customer service (at a local 303 number) I was super excited with my experience: 1. No hoops or advertisements or other frustrating, time consuming unhelpful events occurred before I spoke with someone. 2. The call was answered by a live person on the 2nd ring. 3. The live person was named Mary and she was a delight. She helped me get everything resolved efficiently and in a caring way. I have zero complaints about the quality of the water, it's actually delicious. My main issue is with the delivery service. I signed up almost a year ago, out of the whole time, my delivery has been rescheduled without prior notice 5 times. El Dorado will send you calendar of deliveries (in advance for the year) that they never adhere to. They ask you to put your containers outside of your home at 7:00 am on the morning of your delivery. The containers stay out all day until 5:00 pm when I usually receive an email letting me know that my delivery has been rescheduled without a reason, usually for 2 days after. I have contacted customer service multiple times, emailed them and no one is able to help me. I am simply told that "The driver run out of water" How can that happen? So, if you are looking for a great tasting water, but unreliable delivery and terrible customer service, Eldorado Artesian Springs, Inc. is the way to go! read more

I write this review with mixed feelings. I signed up for a 30 day free trial of water delivery and was very excited about it because I've been a long time El Dorado customer. I will start by saying that I think El Dorado is by far the best water you can find in the state of Colorado. Its purity is unmatched by any other water companies or sources. My plan was to sign a 12 month water delivery contract, but after my trial experience, I decided to cancel my account. The reason I did this was because the delivery and pickup logistics/schedule was too challenging for someone living in an apartment building (with a full time job). I found myself constantly rescheduling my delivery because the window of time they gave me was too broad and no one ever reached out to confirm specific pickup times. It was really disappointing. I will continue to purchase their water, but not on this scale, unfortunately. read more

Like everyone else is posting, READ the other reviews. After more than TEN months, 5 or 6 phone calls to customer service, multiple (unreturned) texts and calls to the adjuster, I have finally heard back from Eldorado. It wasn't however, until I canceled my service and left a google review. I am owed money for damage to my items in my apartment caused by a defected water jug, which they openly admitted happened because of it. In the middle of the night an entirely full jug leaked and went into my living room. Photos and receipts of the damaged items were requested and I sent them over within 24-48 hours. My adjuster who said this was super simple, nobody had to even come out and that we would cut a next by the following week or so. Week after week, he completely ghosted my calls, texts and voicemails for basically an entire year. Every time I had to call customer service for a billing issue, more water or to pause the service because of too much, I brought up that the employee isn't returning my calls. I had TWO customer service people say that they would relay this to the employee's supervisor and still nothing happened. I then proceeded to cancel my account and requested to be crediting for the items I was returning, as well as the unused water. It also wasn't until my google review that I am told my credit for returning my jugs and container was finally being sent to me. What you will see when you visit Eldorado's website is dozens and dozens of awards for the quality of their product, but what you do not see are awards for customer service. Eldorado prides themselves on their awards and so proud to be a local company supporting local people, but they do not care about local people. How does an issue like this go completely untouched until a customer leaves a review on the internet from a business who has been operating for 40+ years. You can respond all you want and say that on Friday you tried to reach me. Well guess what? I have been trying to reach you for the past year. Shame on you. read more

After calling the Eldorado water number again today and pressing 5 to hear the same outgoing message, I came here specifically to post for the same reason as Colorado N., who I see posted 14 days ago. I do not know that person but I share in the aggravation. I love Eldo water, but I am furious about the bridge to the long-standing self-serve machine being out for 7 months. Major highway bridge construction (see Philadelphia for reference) has been done faster than this 50 foot bridge. This cannot be blamed solely on permitting. I have it on good authority that it is due to repeated attempts to save on cost, poor planning, and lack of priority for the self-serve machine because of the low profit margin. We bring you the same people that have moved dirt and concrete around for the Eldorado pool remodel for 3 years. Great water.... poor management. read more

I have had Eldorado Springs water delivery for approximately one year. The water is well beyond my expectations. It is the freshest tasting water I have ever had and I am a water snob and have tried all others. It was a convenience to have my account online and have access to changing my delivery quantity, accessing my invoices, and delivery dates for the entire year. Delivery service was always on the date scheduled and the driver placed the bottles in my garage for me. I highly recommend Eldorado Springs. read more

The spring water is great but the business practice is shady. I noticed my bill kept changing and they were raising the price without notifying me. When I noticed this I called to cancel. they talked me in to staying by lowering the price but then, the very next month, they raised the delivery fee which completely cancelled the new price they gave me. I understand companies have to adjust their prices but you have to notify your customers when you do so. When they more than offset the price change by raising the delivery fee, that is downright shady. Check your statements folks, they have never notified me of their numerous price changes. read more

Had service for a out 1 month. Terrible communication about service dates. Went 6 weeks before they let us know there would be another delivery. We were not huge fans of there water so we decided to cancel. Cancelation went without a hitch but at no point did the customer service rep mention there would be a $50 early termination fee for the "lease" of the junky porcelain water dispenser (plastic top was missing several clips, wooden base was rickety and missing a plastic leveling foot). The final invoice did not mention any description in the charges. I had to call to understand what these surprise charges were. Tl;Dr please learn from my experience. This company has terrible customer service and does not make hidden charges clear and transparent. You will be dinged with early termination and won't be warned.
