No big deal, you trust that they know what they are doing. i have been having my hair done professionally for years. i could tell that her technique was sloppy and I questioned everything. When she was finished I thought it didn't look bad at first. Until I got into my car and started looking closer. there were so many errors, I was devastated. I have never had someone mess my hair up so badly. I contacted the owner and she did offer to fix it. At first I was willing but the more I thought about even stepping foot in that salon, I had a pit in my stomach. I had another girl from a different salon correct my color , and she was appalled by the errors and lack of a pattern, the color choice for my root, etc, etc. I paid $170 for the color at Blondies ($140 + $30 tip) like I said, I initially didn't think it looked bad. Then I paid another $200 to have it corrected. I asked to be issued a refund in which they denied me. I didn't want to be a pain or cause problems but this is unacceptable. I understand that we all start somewhere but the fact that it wasn't made right, especially considering my hesitance on ever stepping foot in there again. Is cause for concern. if you have a fresh out of school stylist who is representing your brand, you make sure she sends her clients home happy and that she isnt ruining anyones hair. I am sad to say that it has completely jilted me and I will never be back there. I hope that this is a major lesson for Abby and the owner.

(50.00) The extensions did not arrive overnight and when asked a tracking number she told me the order number was all she was given. All lies. When I went back to her with concerns of the extensions falling out she told me it was my own hair that was falling out and offered to pick up some Nioxin, L'anzia and some oil for me at the supply house. She quoted me $160.00 but when I got the products they were not what we discussed and she only got me the trial size bottles. She also told me I gave her a $60.00 tip which was absolutely ridiculous to assume. Who tips 60.00 for only products. She is scandolous and threatens people when they complain about her work I have been told. Although she never threatened to beat me up, she has threatened two other clients of hers who reached out to me through a post I made reviewing her on a social media platform. Do yourself a favor and avoid her at all costs. I can't say I know about the other stylists at Maximum Image, but I can speak from experience about Jaicee's work. **also their description is false. The person on the phone was not very nice and every question I asked was then asked to someone nearby because she didn't know the answers. Which whatever, I know new people need to be trained, but she seemed annoyed with my questions. The day of my appointment arrived and I entered to find a man behind the counter and absolutely no workers around. My appointment was at 11am and I was pretty early, but when I told him, he went into the back with a cell phone and came back and said, "She's on her way." Finally at about 11:20, the salon's owner, Echo, came in and did not really apologize for my wait, but told me she normally doesn't work Mondays and her other employee called in sick. My manicure was terrible. She accidentally put base coat on over my color as a top coat, making the color underneath not dry, but the top harden. (Later that night, I was able to pull the color straight off my nails and had to redo them myself. The pedicure was better, but the color came off completely about a week later, practically popped off.) At the end of my appointment, she had me put my toes back under the black light and told me, "You probably want to let those stay in there for another three minutes," grabbed her purse, and left. I felt like I was a nuisance to her, which I do not understand. She's running a freaking business; customers are a good thing, especially noticing now how this place has a bad track record for service. Also, I'm not looking for a heart to heart conversation with a stranger when I get my nails done, but she didn't really talk to me except for complaining about her other employees, one who had called in sick, and the other who didn't have her licensing yet to do work. She also complained to me about the man at the front counter who was helping her with the business, which is super unprofessional. I don't need to hear that. I like supporting local businesses, but I will not go back to Echo's.
