While visiting Austin, the wife and I stopped in at this place because it looked like a lot of fun. It was Monday evening, July 13, around 6:00 p.m. It's located downtown on the corner of a high-rise, and the atmosphere immediately caught our attention. We got a table pretty quickly in a smaller section, which was nice because it wasn't very crowded where we were sitting, even though there were several larger groups elsewhere in the restaurant. One thing to know before you go: check to see if there's a special event scheduled. Events can close the entire place for the evening, so it's worth checking ahead of time. We spent about an hour and a half there. Our table ordered a variety of food, and everything we had was good. The servers were very attentive and kept our drinks filled throughout the evening. I had two Old Fashioneds, and they were excellent. All in all, we spent about $168. My friend Shannon G. and I ended up at Electric Shuffle on a whim. We had been bar hoping on Rainey and spotted Electric Shuffle off the beaten path. We figured we would stop in for a drink before ending our night. I hadn't heard of Electric Shuffle so I didn't realize it was a shuffleboard bar. When I walked in and looked around, it had an odd familiarity to it. It then dawned on me that it reminded me of Flight Club and I found out later in the evening that it is owned by the same hospitality group. We sat at the bar. James was our bartender and he was the only one behind the bar for most of the night. He was very friendly and attentive (I don't think my water glass was ever empty). Just like Flight Club, they offer both food and drinks. There's a decent amount of tables throughout the space for patrons who aren't playing shuffleboard. I wanted to order the Cucumber Elderflower G+T, but James informed me that they ran out of Elderflower. None of the other gin and vodka drinks piqued my interest so I switched it up and went with a Ranch Water. It was really good and I liked that it was dressed with Tajin and lime. Shannon had a Watermelon Sugar Mojito which she enjoyed. We didn't play shuffleboard, but we did walk around. Some of the shuffleboards were in semi-private rooms, while others were out in the main dining area. There's four different game modes and everything is digital which is convenient for score keeping. We absolutely loved the decor. They had throwback vinyl, cassette tapes, and CDs as well as Walkmans, boomboxes, and record players. It was super cool and nostalgic. I've never played shuffleboard, but it looks like a lot of fun. We loved the chill vibe of the bar and it was a great place to end our night. read more

I came here to celebrate my birthday after my best friend recommended it (he came for New Year's and loved it) and wow... he was so right. I absolutely LOVED this place. The space is beautiful, the decor is on point and the overall vibe is just fun, they really put a lot on effort. We came for brunch and they gave us a private room for about 20 people (we were 15) which was perfect. The room even had 2 shuffleboard, so everyone was playing and having a great time, it definitely made the celebration feel extra special. For brunch, they offer two options: buzzy (with a bottle of champagne) or not buzzy (no alcohol). Both options include food like pizza, flatbreads, guacamole, French fries, and our absolute favorite: the crispy chicken with sweet maple with bacon on the side and a little spicy kick... SO good. Literally so much fun! I've walked/passed by Electric Shuffle a couple of times but never visited. I went on a Sunday with a group of friends and we had a blast! For a pre-set boozy brunch menu, the food was very delicious. I enjoyed the candied bacon the most but everyone in my party was obsessed with the beignets (also very good). I really enjoyed playing shuffle board. There are different competition games, keeping you entertained for the entire duration. The staff were so lovely and friendly! Electric Shuffle is so fun! I hosted a team event here for a group of 33 people. We had our own private space with 3 dedicated shuffleboards. We also had a dedicated server to bring drinks and a food package. They did a great job with the timing of the food and having everything set up when we got there. Drinks were always flowing! They also did a good job with explaining how to get everyone set up on the shuffleboard games. The shuffleboard games are sooooo fun! You can have a bunch of people playing at once against each other and the tables keep score for you. It's a great group outing! read more

The manager on site was incredibly understanding and kept pushing our start time back in 15-minute increments to make sure our entire group had enough time to play together..... This is just for the food. I had a work event here where there were a bunch of finger foods. The best things were the Mac/cheese bites and marinated steak and tomato skewers. There are a bunch of pre-programmed games you can play and even if you're terrible, like me, you'll undoubtedly have a lot of fun. After you've had your fill of gaming, sidle up to the bar and don't hold back. The Bold Fashioned was my favorite cocktail, arriving smoking gently and, as promised, strong yet well balanced. Most impressively though, they have a compelling list of vegan options on the menu. The hummus is great for a healthy starter, but if you want to indulge, try the fried cauliflower or cauliflower sliders. My must-order is the mushroom truffle pizza with vegan cheese; it has a perfectly thin, crispy crust and scores of umami flavor. This is way more fun than your average happy hour. I organized a get-together for about 16 friends who I graduated high school with in the 80's using Chat GpT, & it suggested this place! i told the computer what vibe , our ages, a general location & Electric Shuffle was a top contender. When I told everyone, they said, looks perfect...and it was! First off, plenty of room. Second, everyone in our party agreed the staff was phenomenal- attentive, friendly, helpful-so we give them A+. After a few hours, we had a shuffleboard reservation & it was SO FUN -- loved the video instant replays. The only critique I heard was that it was cold in there. But we are in our mid-50s? I've been to Electric Shuffle twice now and all I can say is go! This probably the most fun I've ever had at brunch. They have different offerings but for the shuffleboard and brunch you pay one price($50) for family style food and your own champagne and your own section with a shuffleboard. What's not to love? They even have a dj who is amazing and the food is not the best you'll ever have but still good for what you get. The service is also amazing and very attentive. I love that it's a little more elevated than bowling, and Electric Shuffle randomizes teams/pairs so it's a great conversation starter to get everyone in the group chatting! The game is harder than it looks but it is fun especially after a few drinks! I loved their mezcal and whiskey options. We had friends visiting from Houston and decided to check this spot out. Made a table reservation online in advance - I had both email confirmations and a phone call to confirm our plans. It seemed a bit excessive especially when the phone call asked if we were celebrating anything special, I said yes, birthdays, they took down our birthday peoples' names and said they'd make a sign but then nope, no sign lol. Fumble for sure. We arrived 5 min in advance of our table reservation and were told we had to wait - nbd we got some drinks but the reservation ended up being delayed by 15 min so that was kinda crappy since that cut into our play time (we had dinner reservations elsewhere so couldn't stay to make up the time). Once our table was ready the set up for profiles and teams was easy enough. The table space is kinda crowded depending on where they put you and how many people are in your party (we were a group of 4 but the room we were in was being shared with a company holiday party so kinda cramped). The table itself was really great - we all enjoyed the camera and tv screens being connected to the games themselves. Games all came with easy how to videos and instructions. The pairings of who played who got slightly annoying at times, with pairs sometimes facing off back to back while others just watched for a good amount of time. Overall though, we really enjoyed our time at the space - it was super fun and a great activity based place to kill time with friends. The drinks were meh - our first round was good (two "speciality old fashions", a draft beer, and a sober Lucy). The quality of drinks went down after the first round - so for the price that was slightly disappointing. We didn't order food so can't comment on that. Overall, this is IMO a great alternative to the top golf style date options in Austin. It's also in a very walkable location to other bars (super close to Rainey) so for sure a great option if you're looking for something "to do" beyond just eating and drinking when you go out. read more

Truly a unique concept! Finally got to visit Electric Shuffle on a Thursday evening. We had an hour and a half reservation and we were able to extend it when time was up since it wasn't that busy. Our group purchased a bottle of champagne for the birthday celebration and a dessert cannoli plate. They brought it out dancing and with sparklers, which was a nice touch! The shuffle boards are pretty cool. All electric...you enter your names onto the board and it splits your party up into two teams. There's a few games you can choose from and the table keeps score for you. It provided us good entertainment. Service was great! Our server was attentive to our large group and brought drinks out quickly. Didn't really care for my maple old fashioned, but my friends enjoyed the drinks they ordered. How fun is this place!!!! We were staying at the Hotel Van Zandt (directly across the street) and stumbled upon this establishment as we walked around to get our bearings. We were there on a Sunday afternoon so it wasn't crowded at all. We were able to walk in and reserve a shuffleboard table with no difficulty. We were allowed to play a 90-minute game of shuffleboard but only had about 60-minutes to spare. Being able to play a game without having to keep track of the score ourselves was game-changing. There are several games you can choose from (basic, closest to the pin and a score of others". the system even records your shots and when you make an amazing play an automatic replay will be shown on the screen. They do have table service so you don't have to approach the bar for a drink - your server will come to you! They did have a food menu in addition to a full bar but we were only there for the drinks so I can't give an accurate review on the types of food or the taste. We left this place wishing we had something like it in our hometown....we'd definitely be a member if that was the case! While it was just me and my husband playing this time, it would certainly be an awesome location for a large group of people looking to enjoy a fun night out! read more
