Service is great, the girl upfront was super nice and patient. But it only has 5 star reviews, because costumers get a little "gift" for them, you can see it when you first come in, they have a sign saying "if you leave us a 5 start receive you get ..." good for their business, however this is definitely not a 5 star tanning place. I also just want to make sure to sat that this is not my first time spray tanning, i have gone to multiple places and never looked orange. I asked for a spray tan, the lightest color I paid I think 23 dollars. I am orange, my arms are completely different color. Their machines look super old. The room does not have a mirror in case you want to blend in any of the spray in on your face. I give 3 stars because of the - girl up front -the environment looks nice -room looked clean However the cons are - now im orange -parts of my body does not match, my left arm is orange and my right arm looks normal. - did not blend well -no mirrors so i cant blend -not alot of sticker options Anyways is cheap, 23 bucks. My beloved Tan V on Ponce closed awhile ago & hadn't visited a tanning salon since. I'm a beach girl but lately, the weather has not been cooperating & I have a vacation coming up so decided to give Electric Sun a try. Once I arrived (be forewarned, the parking situation is kinda brutal) Jasmine at the front desk was super helpful in helping me make the right choice for my wants based on my skin type. I decided on the lay down bed & no lie, I was almost like a spa experience! I never felt too hot (the frequent water mists were great!) & the music playing lulled me into thinking I was lying on a faraway tropical beach. Not kidding! Really like this place!!! parking is a pain in the butt and you'll need to pay at certain hours. there is a parking garage right around the corner if you need to but its a little walk. would give 5 stars but i want to try the higher level beds first. when I first walked in, I was greeted and let the lady know I was looking to sign up for a new membership since I just moved to miami and finally now starting to get back to work and shooting. the bed I got was a level 3 at first for 8 mins and a max of 10 mins (I guess) it was a nice VERY clean bed in front #11, it did a whole misting thing also. it was very relaxing and honestly wish I could have stayed in longer just to relax more. I got the top membership at basically $69 a month. Paid $35 today at the pro-rated amount for the mount. all in all - I can't wait to update my review after a few visits to 5 stars. I truly think they will exceed my expectations in every way. read more

I love this spot. I've used tanning beds all across Miami and this place knocks the rest out if the park. They have an unlimited tanning deal for $18.88 which I'm pretty sure is the best bargain I've seen specifically for the state of the art beds they have. When I walked in, Isis made me feel at home and gave me an in depth explanation on all the types of levels they offer. She even took her time to pick out a great option for me. The bed even has an MP3 option and talked to me, how awesome is that? The place was super clean and they even offer one hour parking in the back for their customers. First time here and honestly some of the best costumer service I've ever experienced. Joel was extremely nice and really helpful. I felt very welcomed, and didn't feel like just another customer but as if I had been going there for years. The prices are very fair and I even got a membership. There's a bunch of different options for lotions, tanning beds, memberships, and just regular one day visits. For my first time here I'm beyond happy. I've been to a couple other tanning salons in the past and have left super burnt or just very unpleased with the customer service. The facility and the tanning equipment are quite nice. Equally, if not more impressive is the level of customer service. I was impressed.

After my original post Steve reached out to me, and offered me a refund or additional tans. Their customer service was great from the get go, but I was very impressed with him reaching out, so I'm going to give them another shot. Especially with the proximity so close to campus, I think it's worth another go. He advised me to try moisturizer with the tan this time, as that will help it stay on longer. The great customer service is why I'm editing to give 5 stars. You can see my original post below: I wanted to give 5 stars, the girls who work the front desk are so sweet and helpful. They definitely work hard to keep things clean and want the customers to have the best experience. I normally go to the Zoom Tan, but it's so far away, so I wanted to try some place closer to me. The tan looked great the first night, but it dried a little splotchy and didn't stay on as long as I'm used to. If you're on the undergrad campus, it's quick to get to and not very expensive. If it had dried more even or stayed dark I would be returning, but I'll probably just stick to what I know. read more

This new tanning salon near UM is pretty impressive. I met the owner at the cafe next door. I never really considered tanning before, but he talked me into it. I'm glad I went. The girl working the front desk showed me everything and explained all the different beds and the differences between them. I was really impressed with the technology when I was inside. Not to mention they have music pumping -really cool atmospher. All and all I can't say that I will tanning consistently but I'm more inclined now that I discovered how cool and relaxing this place is. I've been tanning for 3-4 years now and I can honestly say this is the BEST tanning salon I've been to. Its clean, new and the employees are awesome too! On my first visit, I was greeted by the manager and she gave me a tour of all of the rooms. She taught me how to work all of them and told me what her personal favorites were. She also gave me lotion recommendations since I had forgotten my bottle at home. I bought the month for levels 1-5 immediately and have had an amazing experience in every single bed. I received a free trial week before signing up for a membership. After the week I loved it so much I purchased a package deal. They have great hours and a friendly staff! I don't think I've ever had to wait more than 2 minutes for a bed. The only downside is parking. You either have to pay to park in the street, or park in the garage and walk around the building which can be a little unsettling at night, but this is Miami and parking is a constant issue. read more
