I've never had to make a bad review but I called on Thursday afternoon to make an appointment for a vine/flower arm tattoo. On the phone I was talking to a girl named Mollee and she seemed very nice so I booked an appointment for Sunday. We exchanged phone numbers so we could exchange ideas and talk about details for the tattoo. And when Sunday came I texted her I was on the way and asked if she does discounts because my family has been there and has gotten tattoos from that place. She said,"No discounts, sorry. They don't get discounts, they've paid what the artists asks when they come and they are respectful about that. I put a lot of care into my pricing to reflect my experience, the quality of my work, and the time I dedicate to each piece. I understand if it's not the right fit for you right now, but I want to make sure I'm working with clients who fully align with and respect my process. I'm unfortunately no longer interested in doing this tattoo for you." I was already half way there to the place which was a an hour and 30 drive and she canceled on me. I was very excited for this tattoo and was willing to pay almost 1,000 dollars for a simple arm tattoo. This was going to be my second tattoo and I had wished it was a better experience. I got a tattoo over the summer with my friends. It was a simple letter on my lower stomach/inner hip area. Took about five minutes each for us, however, tattoo artist had to take a smoke break in between every person. Following up about a week or two later and my tattoo was essentially faded/gone. It had not been done properly, and I was left with half a letter. I was disappointed. It was expensive for what I got, but I did it for the fun. Turned out overpriced and lacked quality. I had to get it fixed by someone else. After reaching out to the artist, I was ignored after a couple of messages. They did offer to fix it but it wasn't worth the drive back, and I wasn't particularly eager to have it done by them again. read more

DO NOT GET A PIERCING HERE. I got a double helix piercing 3 months ago at Electric Tiger, and the piercer was very polite and seemed knowledgeable (so I thought). It wasn't cheap but I believed I was paying more to get the piercing done right. However, my piercing was not healing. Furthermore, the balls on the piercing ends kept falling off. The second time one of the balls fell off I went to a new piercing shop to get a new earring put in. The new shop informed me that new helix piercings should never be done with a curved barbell because it places stress on the ear at an angle which disrupts the healing process. When I showed the new shop the jewelry they said, I quote, "did you get this done at a shop? they should never have charged you more than $10 for this jewelry". When she saw my ear she said "I can't believe someone did this to your ear." My piercings were so messed up that I have to let them close up. The new piercer (at the other shop) informed that because of the poor piercing job, they would never heal right. So that was a waste of $100 as well as 3 months of pain and healing. Moral of the story: Please find a shop that uses quality jewelry with a straight barbell and a flat back for proper healing for helix piercings. The Electric Tiger had 1 single type of jewelry and did not warn me that it was not proper for new piercings. Needless to say I will never go there again. read more

Two of my GFs and I spent Memorial Day Weekend in Rehoboth last year and after admiring some of their work on new friends we met while we were there, we popped in this parlor on our way out of town. We were greeted warmly and were all three able to get something that very same day. We all had the same artist, I wish I still had his card so I could give him a proper shout-out... but he was awesome! Would not Recommend this shop to anyone going for an ear piercing. Went in a 2 days ago to get my Ear lobes pierced for the first time everything went ok when getting it done but being it was my first time getting this done didn't know to much of what it really entails. When I went in they did not have any choices on earrings but one type of "bar" piercing to use. After piercing was done same day I was just sitting around and the front end ball just fell off was able to screw it back on until next day the back end fell off that when I realized it was cheap hardware. Then come today when I went to fix the back end the whole bar just pulled out leaving my ear SWOLLEN and BLEEDING. Pissed off I went to a different shop to get it fixed immediately. What I learned in this shop showed me how inexperienced and cheap this shop is for piercings. For starters the Bar that was used in my ear wasn't even for a lobe piercing it was NIPPLE!! piercing Hardware and it was made out of cheap metal. Secondly aftercare recommendation from this shop was totally off and do not recommend following what they say. Overall 0/5 stars if I could. Left my ear swollen and bloody. Will not be going back!! read more

Thankfully I read the glowing reviews for this shop and went there. Dez was my artist and he gave me a beautiful new tattoo and also fixed an old one from another shop. He was gentle and explained everything but mostly he was super polite and friendly. Getting tattoos (and I have eleven already) can be intimidating and not every artist is super friendly. Dez did a super dope tattoo on me today and the quality is a m a z i n g. The equipment was very sterile and the staff members are super nice. Also they will charge reasonable prices for the tattoos/piercings. 10/10 Recommended this place for tattoos. They get booked up usually about 2 weeks out simply cause they are that good. read more

Let me start of by saying this place does have a good look from the outside - and you do see vintage tattoo art on the inside so it leaves you to have some faith in the place. Once you get in there you realize that they've tried to cram as many artists into a tiny space. There was barely room to walk around. I walk in and looked over the portfolios and wanted the owner to do my tattoo (my own design) however he was busy - and with that I was on my way out when the artist Desmond Mitchell insisted that he could handle it. I had Desmond do my tattoo because he assured me that he was capable of doing the art that I had brought in along with assuring me that he would make sure I was happy with it - also the owner was around in the shop with other clients - so it gave me some peace of mind since he was the artist I wanted to go with in the first place. Now that I've signed the papers and everything and he's taken time to get the stencil ready, he sits me down in this raggedy folding chair - when there were other spots with legitimate spots for tattooing available. In hindsight this should have been the final straw - but since the kid insisted and he already put in some work - I have him the benefit of the doubt. At the end of the day - he gave me a break after the lines were done - then another in between coloring it in. When he claimed he was "done" I went to the bathroom to use the mirror and it was colored all crazy and you couldn't see half the colors in the tattoo. I mention this to him and he said "I'm done I'm already breaking down my equipment" So another artist comes up and doesn't even look over and said "yea it's done" trying to be intimidating. I continue to insist that he fixes it and he won't so now the owner comes and demands that I just leave - At this point I'm so frustrated that I know if I stay I'll end up getting dragged into a mess that ends up bad for everyone. So I leave and I make sure to give the tattoo time to heal and see what it really looks like when it's done. The coloring is horrible - the shading is done without any knowledge or skill on how to do a tattoo. Several parts where some of the color bled over the lines along with over filling some points and disregarding a complete other part - uneven filling and shading - so many issues, however nothing that cannot be fixed. I will have this tattoo fixed by a very reputable local artist to me and will then post before and after pics and the proof will be clear cut. Thank God that the extent of their mistakes isn't something that cannot be fixed. Please people if you cherish your body and the work that you out on it, do not let these guys come close to you with a needle. DO NOT GO HERE - THESE GUYS ARE RIPOFFS AND WON'T HONOR THEIR WORD!!! read more

I was definitely happy with the outcome of the design and he was really attentive to detail and my pain. It was my first tattoo so he was really gentle and patient with me. Rehoboth is a special place for us. So it was only appropriate we got our first tattoos here. Dez greeted us with such patience and kindness. We knew this was the place. They are super clean , have great work ethic and patient with everything. We had made our deposit days before and even though we were an hour late due to weather and traffic. They were able to accommodate us. Get there early because the lines stay forming. Matt did an excellent job with my tat and added his own flair. One thing I can tell you is don't micro manage. Know exactly what you want then let the artist do their thing. We will cherish ours forever , literally forever. Will be back next year for another one hopefully. read more

I got my belly button pierced here. I was very nervous and they were not very patient with me. The piercer was impatient and rude because I was nervous. Also, (not the piercers fault) they only let one person see you get pierced and not allowed to hold anyones hand. The one person who sees you get pierced has to sit in a chair outside and can barely see. I went in because I lost the ball to a circular barbell in my tragus. Ian was incredibly helpful, patient and kind. He showed me the jewelry options, put a new surgical steel ring in my ear and bent it for me with pliers so that it would hang just the way I wanted it. Before doing so, he put on gloves, sterilized the tools and asked me to lie down on a padded table. Great experience! I will return to Electric Tiger Tattoo for other piercing needs. read more

I was vacationing on the East Coast in Rehoboth Beach, DE and needed to have an old tattoo fixed and stopped at The Electric Tiger to have it done. I am so pleased with the job that Drew did for me. The original tattoo that I had on the back of my neck was so horrible that something had to be done. I was not sure what would work or look good and Drew said that he would draw me up something that I'd love. I couldn't give him enough credit for his awesome work. He did a dolphin for me that has great detail and color. I would certainly recommend Electric Tattoo for his work. The shop is easily located, clean and has several spacious tattoo areas. Thank you Drew for your wonderful work. Appointments are preferred, however walk-in's are welcomed. I had to make an appointment as they are a busy and happening place. Well worth my wait! read more

I got a couple Native American symbols with a very meaningful coordinate underneath, and she got the matching bear paw that Was incorporated in my tattoo, all done by Dez. He did a fantastic job, was extremely friendly and was very collaborative in the design I had envisioned! As it was my first tattoo and I was relatively nervous, he made it extremely easy and my mind was eased immediately, so much so that I almost fell asleep during the second part of the tattoo!
