We exchanged phone numbers so we could exchange ideas and talk about details for the tattoo. And when Sunday came I texted her I was on the way and asked if she does discounts because my family has been there and has gotten tattoos from that place. She said,"No discounts, sorry. They don't get discounts, they've paid what the artists asks when they come and they are respectful about that. I put a lot of care into my pricing to reflect my experience, the quality of my work, and the time I dedicate to each piece. I understand if it's not the right fit for you right now, but I want to make sure I'm working with clients who fully align with and respect my process. I'm unfortunately no longer interested in doing this tattoo for you." I was already half way there to the place which was a an hour and 30 drive and she canceled on me.
