i had an appointment today with Lexi to get my haircut and colored. when i made the appointment 2…read moreweeks ago i had to request an appointment in which i had to give my name, email and phone number in which were all up to date. i got a call the same day with an appointment time, in which i was very happy. but when i got to the appointment today as soon as i walked in the girl sitting at the desk looked at me sideways so from the second i walked in i felt a way, she then asked how she could help me and i said i had an appointment with lexi, she then tells me she tried to call me in which i never got a call at all, to tell me lexi was sick. i took off a whole day of work to get my hair done, so at this point im livid, i asked what number they called and she said my old phone number. when i scheduled the appointment request they had the correct number and called me to make the appointment! so why was my number not updated? it was giving rude and lazy, and they really didnt care i felt a bad vibe the second i walked in and honestly i wasted my whole day and lost money, it was just unprofessional that they had the correct number to make the appointment but not the right number to let me know she had to reschedule? no. i will never go here again, on top of they never let me know their address changed when i made the appointment so i went to their old location at first, they clearly don't have it together and are very rude. 0/10! never again!

I understand going from natural brown hair in a double process while maintaining healthy hair is a process but it seemed that my requests were taken with a grain of salt. Danielle listened to my previous experience, all my concerns and took the time to understand what I was looking for, setting clear expectations prior to scheduling our appointment together. She did exactly what I wanted and I am so extremely happy. They are on Main Street in Port Jefferson which makes parking a bit tricky but I had no problem finding a spot that was in walking distance. There was a gentleman who greeted me at the door and I waited only about 3 minutes before I was escorted to the wax room. The owner (I didn't ask her name) was very sweet and passionate about her business and her work. She makes her own sugar wax and sugar scrub for after care. The appointment was quick. Maybe a half hour from parking to being back in my car to go home. Everything was clean and quick and she asked questions to determine how to proceed with the wax and what kind of aftercare I would have. As a first time Brazilian wax customer I would recommend Sugar Sugar. Although I have nothing to compare this experience to, I don't have any reason to go anywhere else.

No proper spray tan ventilation, the spray tent was coated in a layer of spray tan like it was never wiped down and cleaned. The walls and ceiling were also stained with the spray tan. Now to the spray, the solution that was used is pretty decent, a good color and nice smell. The application is the problem here, half of my legs were missed and my knees completely blotchy with unevenness all over my legs. When I sent a picture to the spray tech, she originally said she didn't see what was wrong when it's clear in the pictures. I then circled the areas and sent it back. I was told to put baby power on my creases ... which wasn't the issue at all and no amount of baby powder can fix a bad spray. Very inexperienced spray tech. I would avoid at all cost.
