Adel has been servicing my Yamaha Clavinova electric piano for years. I was referred to him by Keyboard Concepts in Santa Monica, where I purchased my piano. I was having an issue where some of the keys were randomly playing louder than the others. He serviced the entire keyboard assembly, and replaced all of the key contacts and hammer felt. It feels good as new! Then I was having an issue with the sliding cover making a weird noise as I opened and closed it, and he took care of that as well. I reached out to Adel from a referral at Piano Concepts down in FV before they closed and wanted to repair my clanky hammering of the keys on the Yamaha Clavinova. He made himself available and contacted me to arrange a visit to my place to diagnose the issue. After about 3-4 weeks, he came over and reinstalled the keys and I test out a few keys and I must say it feels just like new! I emailed them the issue with my digital piano and Adel contacted me almost immediately via phone. He told me what to look for and how to trouble shoot on the phone before coming over for a house visit. The house visit pricing was quite steep so I definitely wanted to see if I could repair myself instead. My pedals weren't working and Adel told me to make sure the wiring connected correctly from the pedal to the piano itself and to make sure all lines were plugged in correctly. I was fortunate enough to be gifted an old 2004 era Clavinova that did not make any sound when I turned it on, and Adel from EMS was a wizard in getting it fixed. He came to my house, diagnosed the issue, and discovered that there was corrosion internally with a few of the circuit boards. To my untrained eye, everything looked normal, but he found the specific details that were causing the issues, discussed my options with fair pricing, and sourced replacement parts for this discontinued model (I still don't know how he was able to accomplish this!). EXCELLENT all around!!! Great communication, responsiveness, service, knowledge, & work! We have a Yamaha Clarinova digital piano that started having a key stick a little. i contacted Yamaha and they sent me a list of Yamaha certified service technicians. After comparing all the Yelp reviews on each technician, I called EMS and Adel answered right away. He seemed very knowledgeable on what the issue might be and we scheduled a service call. His service call is a good amount but worth every penny. He brought everything he needed to fix the broken key but found it wasn't a broken key issue as he thought based on my description, but the key glides. They were dusty, old, and the lubrication was drying up and sticky (our piano is about 15-16 years old). After some discussion, we decided it was best for him to take the whole piano board to his shop and he give it a full cleaning and maintenance. He estimated about 3 weeks but was done in a little over a week! Our piano plays like new now!! And all the maintenance he did on it even made the keys quieter. We are extremely happy with EMS and will definitely call Adel in the future for all our piano needs! read more

I had Adel from electronic Midi services come out to take a look at my Yamaha digital baby grand. I had some major problems going on with it. After some troubleshooting, along with several things, we discovered that the motherboard of the digital piano was toast - not good. This piano is 12 years old and due to the fact that I live near the beach, I had some pretty good corrosion going on on the internal components. He had to come out a few times to install new parts. He remained in communication with updates as to the status of ordered parts, and upon arrival of ordered parts, promptly scheduled time for the install. This is a guy with integrity and compassion, as he did not charge me for a couple of visits because he "felt bad" for the many issues I had with the piano - which were not his fault. Adel is professional, very knowledgeable and really, just a good guy. I highly recommend him! Also...check out the "not recommended reviews" down below. Yelps software programs removes some reviews that may appear not to be "legitimate". They are all 5 star reviews and it is quite obvious that these reviews are legitimate. I don't know Adel personally, other than meeting him while he fixed my Keyboard. He is a man of honor...one conversation with him will convince you of this.
