I got it back to home and my office and within 2 weeks found the battery wasn't charging as it was supposed to--2 hours vs. 12 that it should provide. I called Dan's and spoke to the staff person who had installed it. He told me it was in the warranty period--1 month--and that he would notate the problem in his system so I could come in whenever I was able in the next few monthswork schedule and COVID and they check it and reorder the battery for free and re-install it. I finally got a day w/o Zooms and work and brought it in and talked to the manager who opened my computer and said the battery was faulty. But he went on to say they would charge me for a new battery. I told him his staffer had made a notation within the warranty period and told me it would be a free replacement. He checked his system and said their was no notation so it was my problem and I'd have to pay the entire cost of a new battery, but he would help with labor. I told him it wasn't my fault that his staffer forgot to add it to the system and I would like to talk with him or he could call him since I thought he'd remember our discussion and the problem. He refused and said he wouldn't call him, he wouldn't let me talk to him, and he ordered me out of the store when I said this was bad customer service and I shouldn't have to pay for the bad battery they installed. I will never go back to Dan's computer. The manager was terribly rude, basically insinuated I was lieing, but refused to ask his staffer that I talked to to confirm what I was saying. I will take my business to other local computer stores and let all my friends and family know how frustrating and unfair Dan's Computer manager is!!!

Computers are major purchases where you are spending as much as $3000 or more!!! Thats not chump change in this current economy. I would give it no stars if I could. Let me provide you with some details, so you know my review is actually accurate, unlike these reviews posted here, which I wouldn't trust. I dropped my son's phone off on 12/13/2018 and got it back FINALLY on 1/3/2019, nearly a month later. I made NINE trips to the store and countless phone calls. I have a picture of the receipt for proof because I put down a deposit when I dropped it off. After I didn't hear anything for four or five days after dropping off my son's phone, and he was getting restless for his phone, I made a phone call to them, I was told that the screen they repaired was damaged and they "were about to call me" and they had to return the screen to the original manufacturer and had to reorder the part, so they would let me know when it would be back in. I was told it would be early the following week, which was getting close to Christmas. On the following week, when I didn't hear anything from the store, I tried calling multiple times, the phone would just ring and ring, even though Google said they were open and so did Yelp. I went by the store to find a "CLOSED" randomly up even though it was operational hours. I tried calling the following day, again, no answer, the voicemail was the standard voicemail, stating their regular operational hours, so they should have been open, but this time, I came by to see that they had their "OPEN" sign up but their doors were locked and they had a sign that said, "Happy Holidays" and said they were closed until 12/27. WOW! Thanks for telling me!!!! I then, made another trip on 12/28/2018 - also closed. They also didn't repair my son's phone at all - they weren't able to repair it but gave me half of my deposit back, which again, not pleased. So, I lost three weeks, countless trips to see them, suffered a lot of stress and lost $70 plus all the gas of getting there and back. I will NEVER go there again. I hope they close their doors forever and I wouldn't trust any reviews on here that are generic, that don't list specifics. BE CAREFUL.

My screen now looks and feels like it did when I first bought it. This store also has a nice selection of phone cases for a variety of phone types. I got a nice discount for buying the case in store along with the repair. There are nice comfy chairs you can sit in while you wait for your repair, and good AC too! All in all, based on the wonderful customer service, the excellent tech skills, and the nice clean decor, I would highly recommend this shop for a cracked iphone screen. A+!!
