I called to tell them what was wrong with my phone. They quoted me the price to fix it, and it was very reasonable (ear speaker cleaning and charging port). They said it would be ready in 3 hours. When I showed at the store the following morning and she created my ticket, it was significantly more than she had quoted me. She wasn't sure why it was more, but said that was the price. She did say she would take $10 off for the miscommunication. She told me it would be ready in 3 hours. I never heard from her all day until I called before closing. Apparently she had issues replacing the port and wanted to keep my phone for the next technician to look at. The following day, no one answered the phone until after lunch and he claimed she never left him notes so he hadn't touched my phone. I told him what he needed and he said he would get on it. For the rest of the evening, I never heard anything so called before closing once again. He said he worked on it for 5 hours and wasn't able to replace the charging port. Once again, he wanted a third technician to see it the following day. I called first thing and talked to this technician. He said he had notes and would get on it. By lunch it was fixed, and he told me he did the same thing the first two technicians had already done and it was working fine. The charging port they put in wasn't compatible with my battery so they replaced the battery too. When I went to pick up, I explained they had my phone 3 days for a 3 hour fix and he said he didn't know why the other technicians had trouble (seems like they need more training as they are not able to do simple repairs). Additionally, I told him I was quoted a different price than it rang up. He was aware of the issue. Apparently they have a price sheet they look at when you call, but when they ring you up in the POS system, it's actually a lot more expensive. This is very poor business practice. With all of these troubles, he still charged me the full price for what I was quoted over the phone for the port replacement, but gave me the cleaning for "free". Also, this new batter they put it is very weak, I blow through the charge on it, and apple says it is not a genuine battery. I guess I have knockoff parts now that still cost me $100. I question this business' morals and competence. Highly NOT recommended.

She recommended a different solution, which is a screen protector that's made from plastic, not glass.

I hate writing negative reviews, especially because I've been a customer here for years. In fact,…read moreI've purchased three phones from them this year alone and have always had a good experience. Unfortunately, you don't really find out how a business treats its customers until something goes wrong. I was a happy customer until I actually needed their help. That's when you find out what a business is really like. I purchased an iPhone for my elderly grandmother. She tried using it for a couple of weeks but ultimately decided it was too complicated and wanted to keep her old phone. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the device. it was still in like-new condition. I had the receipt and everything Before purchasing, I understood there was a 30-day warranty. What I wasn't told was that the "warranty" only covers repairs, not returns if a customer simply changes their mind. While that may be their policy, it's an incredibly unfriendly one for a business selling used phones. Instead of accepting a like-new phone back into inventory, they left me with a $500 phone that I now have to photograph, list, negotiate over, and sell myself. They could have easily resold it, but instead they chose to make it the customer's problem. I noticed several other reviews where people had similar concerns, and the responses are mostly some version of, "We're sorry you feel that way." At some point, it stops sounding like customer service and starts sounding like a pattern. I won't be buying my next phone here. Not because of the product, but because customer service matters most when something doesn't go exactly as planned.
