This was the last shop out of three that I went to last year after getting engaged in June, knowing how long it typically takes for a gown to ship and get altered I knew that I needed to have something ordered by the fall of last year for our spring wedding. This boutique is small and they only take scheduled appointments, it's run by Shana and her assistant Scarlet who are super helpful throughout the entire process! I emailed them and scheduled a Saturday morning appointment with my mom and bridesmaids, already knowing what I was looking for we found the dress and she was a stunner! We placed the order at the end of August and communication throughout the entire process was wonderful! Scarlet let me know when the dress arrived in February and their in house seamstress got to work and did the most amazing job altering the dress! Ambience: Everything is beautifully lit in neat rows of clothing racks with spacious walkways, fitting rooms and sitting areas. There is a beautiful, private area in the back with a pedestal and large mirror for you to check out your dresses and comfortable seating for family or friends that may be with you to see. 2. Clothing: So many options, colors and styles of Indian outfits ranging from casualwear to bridal that you can truly get for any occasion. Outfits are priced extremely reasonably as well. They have lehengas, anarkali suits, gowns, designer-wear, shervanis, kurtas, salwars among others. The colors and patterns also range from bright and summery to darker and more elegant. It's hard to choose just a few things to try on! They can also custom make outfits if you are looking for something in particular or have an idea in mind. 3. Service: The service is absolutely wonderful - my mom heard about the owner, Mina, from several community events and her husband Jimmy was there on multiple occasions when we went to try things on. He was absolutely wonderful in helping us find things we might like and making us feel comfortable in the shop. It was very homely and he was incredibly knowledgeable and hospitable. In summary, this is 100% the best Indian boutique I have been to in Austin - it is not messy and cramped as these boutiques usually are, but tastefully decorated and inviting. The dress could possibly be from a past year or current, but the cool part is they have many off the rack dresses. They start at bridal size 6 and to me that was the best part. You wouldn't be able to order all of these in your size, you'd have to find it, but you'll also save a good bit of money and will be able to take the dress home right away. I found many size 6 dresses that fit perfectly, and chose 1 that same day. Highly recommend bestow if this is what you are looking for. Another person was complaining about making them wash their hands - they do that with everyone - it's important because the dress you try on and say no to is the same dress someone else will say yes to. Her shop is in Lakeway and in addition to cleaning and preserving, she has an off the rack dress shop with dresses coming from California! We eloped in Croatia in September 2024 and I hadn't done anything with my beautiful, intricately laced gown since because I'm terrible :) I wanted my younger sister to be able to use the veil so I wanted to ensure this was properly cleaned and cared for. Upon arrival, we looked at photos and she explained the process and options. This is 100% not the most cost effective way to clean the dress but if you want it beautifully, efficiently, and craft-fully cared for- Robin is your girl! We did some texting regarding the embroidery but I gave her my dress and veil and 7 weeks later - I picked her up in a gorgeous museum quality box and wrapping with gloves to handle. The embroidery was extra but SO worth it as you can see. Her partners are amazing - the stitch work is absolutely phenomenal. I would happily do the process over again! Leah was super clear about what category a dress fit into. She broke down all the pricing and sent us off with a smile. We also loved the set up of the dressing room. It really put the bride on display and we could see her without having to stand up and move around. It was private and clearly thought out. Let me Explain my experience and let this be the review you need to not go here. I reach out to her on 5/15/25 she was very responsive to my calls and gave me an appt right away! I attented my first consultation with my MOH and Beatrice had us write all the things that my dress needed the total came to $1575 and at that time i did not know if that was an okay price but i went for it because I wanted someone local I proceeded and gave her $600 cash deposit as she really preferred that over check or card. We schedule my second appt we showed that day and she never opened the door for us i called her 3 times and texted her and she saw my messages an 1 hour later but did not bother to apologize for wasting our time. I had to text her to ask her if everything was okay because I showed up for my fitting and she never opened the door and she stated that she was okay but when i was going to show up for my fitting? I was confuse because two days before i called her and texted her. Anyways I assune maybe she did not see my missed calls. I proceeded to schedule another appt this time she apologize for the mix up and she told me all the things she was going to do to my dress then at the end she wanted another payment and i gave her $400 cash since she had worked on some things. On 6/20/25 I went again with my MOH and i did not see any changes but i did tell her how my custom slevees will looked and she said she does not design them she just sews them so my MOH design them with the fabric given by her and pin everything but today 6/22/25 she told me she had an emergency and she has to leave and won't be able to finish I was left speechless because my wedding is in a month i asked her what about my sleeves and she says she cannot do the sleeves because its too detail and tried to change the work order around but why didnt she mention on 6/20 she could not do the job? What's more shocking is that she mention my sleeves were going to rip off anyways becauze of the fabric she was going to use!!! Like you are charging me $400 and you knew you weren't giving me quality!! I explain to her that i understand that she has an emergency , but i expect a refund for the sleeves she did not complete and she refuse to reinburse me because according to her she completed the job... I kid you not this lady cut a piece of fabric and gave it to my MOH to create the sleeves with safety pins and the "sleeves" were the same way we left them and she said she sewed them together and did her job. I told her I was not going to pay her any more money because she had rip me off and she threatend me to not give me my dress or to call the police or worse sue me? I stated to her that i was willing to pay her for all the work she did so we agreed to pay her $200 more but that was me being nice because she did not live up to her word. Then after she received the $200 cash she says that i still owe her money because the total is $1750!! I explain to her 4 times that the total on the receipt was $1575 however she insisted At the end she told me that i needed to leave her house and she shut the door on me. Brides or anyone that goes with her please have a witness or record everything she says because she denies alot of things. I left her place with a huge headache, although she gave me my dress i am now in the urge for someone else to finish her job because she did a horrible!! The only thing she did was the bustle and cut 2 layers of my dress. I came home and the layers were cut so uneven! I just wanted to cry The veil she sold me was $275 and she did the pin while i was there in 10 mins and incorrectlly and she cut the veil so bad!! I should of seen the red flags!! I would suggest to not even call her she wants you to pay her all the money and won't finish the job! She demanded more money on the third fitting but i told her I could not give her more money until she finished and thank god I did because I would have lost more money. Ladies again, I repeat if i can save someone from making a bad decision let this be it I don't want anyone to go through what i did wedding planning is already stressful why make it more?
